A week ago I reserved a 26' truck which was on site at the time. I received an email that said the truck was reserved and that it was guaranteed that It would be available as requested. When I arrived to pick up the truck 6 days later, as scheduled, I was informed that there was no 26' truck available. I did not received any kind of advance warning that the truck was not there. No email, no text message, no phone call. I had to settle for a 20' truck. This required me to make multiple trips, increased mileage used, and a large increase in the rental fee. This has happened to me several times. I would not use U-Haul if I had any other option.

BRANDI HTire inspections are more important than almost anything. The trailer was unsafe to be on the roadway because of a bulge on the face of the tire without any tread. Fortunately it was noticed in a pre hookup inspection and corrected by a U-Haul contractor.

Michael HScott was great. UHaul had tried to switch the drop off location to an HOUR further away, but Scott took the time to honor the contract- which meant he took 20 minutes or more to get the system to book it on. I’m the meantime we were able to shop his hardware store for some needed new-house items.

Gerald PThis place was a small operation, but I have never met a better manager at customer service! He jumped right on it, didn’t make me wait around, was exceptionally friendly and helpful. I have to say this was my best ever experience at a Uhaul. I had to drive 125 miles to drop the trailer off because the closest store had closed for Labor Day weekend. I’d actually drive 125 miles to this location at Coulee Hardware to rent another UHaul trailer. He was that good!

John WYou sent me a survey about a dropoff location from which corporate ATTEMPTED to divert us, while we were on the road using the equipment no less. The NEW location was 50 miles away from our destination, whereas Grand Coulee was one mile from our destination. This was beyond unacceptable. It was downright rude to expect us to pay for the gasoline to drive 98 miles out of our way, without being compensated for our time. The guys at Grand Coulee were very helpful in rectifying that situation.

Martin WI had reserved a truck almost a month before I picked it up. The nearest vehicle was in Grand Coulee, WA.! We were in Spokane Valley, WA. That was 194.8 miles roundtrip. We were charged for being 18 miles over our limit. I feel since we had to make a 2 hr trip to pick up that truck, then take it back to our location, that money should be refunded,as the extra miles were not our fault.
