KRISTINA ELeft ubox sitting outside despite having a warehouse for three weeks. Called to have trailer loaded and ready to go with 3 boxes, not one was ready. Only one person,Trevor, can help you, never available by phone, or seemingly at location, left messages and either not reported or he did not respond despite asking for direct line or number never given this information. Miss Billie at Lacey Wa location shining bright light in your organization and deserves a raise. Only person who did not seem put upon to simply do their job at either location and the only reason I didn’t change our plans to use your company
ANTHONY SCrainshaw Supply was friendly and made it easy for us to access our box. Dealing with Uhaul in Carmel Mountain however was a nightmare. I ordered through the uHaul app and scheduled it all out, noted where I'd like our box to sit in the driveway, etc. Recieved confirmation and paid in full. Weeks later, I recieve an email stating my uBox order has been canceled. I contacted their office to ask why they canceled it on me, and they said they were unable to get in contact me about where I'd like to have my uBox placed (I gave all this info online, day of order). The GM told me not to worry, the manager canceled it "not knowing," but the order would be fulfilled as planned. Then the credit from my original payment was sent back onto my credit card, leaving me with a negative balance (as in, now my credit company owes me nearly $3k, because again all of this has been paid off) - all of this rendering my card completely useless until uHaul took the original payment back, well after the day I moved. To boot, they scaled my window to pack the box back from 4 days down to just 1 (ONE) day to load up. Absolute abysmal service at uHaul Carmel Mountain, shameful. Will NEVER use this service again, and I promise you our awful experience with uHaul uBox will be shared with anyone and everyone we know who is in the process of moving.

JENNY GI had to pick up from place farther away and I ended up short on miles for my one way trip. So I was charged $31. I feel I should be refunded for those miles

Wayne MWe had to call and get assistance with the app to check in the truck. Totally unaware that we had to do that. Thankful the guy at 800-number was super helpful in getting our location turned on to use the app for check-in. Great service there for sure!

Kenneth YAs I mentioned previously, communication was our main concern. Differing information from multiple sources as we were transferred around with phone calls. All went well once we had the U boxes delivered to Crainshaw.
Roger PThe only difficulty we had with U-Haul was mis-communication among different parties associated with U-Haul. One would tell us one thing, such as delivery of our U-boxes would come to our home, and another would say it would not happen and we'd have to drive 45 min away to collect the box one at a time hauling them ourselves, which turned out to be the case. Also, when calling U-Haul in Okla City as well as other places in MO and the calls would be re-routed to a state that there was no association with our circumstances, the information was sometimes inaccurate and contradictory to previous comments. Crainshaw Supply was good in everyday, however. They gave us correct information and assistance with all our encounters.
Roger PU-box : Get rid of all wood/tarp boxes and switch to the solid with metal frames and seals. Wooden boxes often have interior water damage, warped doors that don’t seal, torn tarping, and non-functional Velcro closures.

marilyn cThere was confusion on the day when we picked up the empty containers to self-load. I had called to order a 2nd UBox, but he forgot to put in the order. Thankfully, they had enough containers and trailer on site to fix the problem and for us to get the containers we needed that day. Other than that, they were very helpful throughout the process at this location.

Wayne MMy comments are mostly for the U-Box itself. I really did not like the design of the box as I felt it was difficult to use in a few ways. The vinyl wrapping was very difficult to get stuck back up to the top of the box, the box also had two holes stabbed through it that had the potential to damage my items. Luckily nothing was damaged but I’m not sure what happened and no one mentioned anything to me until I went to unload my items and noticed the damage to the box. I thought the box would be made out of a hard plastic or metal but it’s actually just a wood box wrapped in a tarp with velcro. I also thought it was a little shady to include all the furniture pads “for free” but actually you have to buy them if they aren’t returned.

Gil MTook 30 minutes for them to login to the u haul system, truck was really dirty. Muddy foot prints in the cab. Cigarette ashes in the ashtray. The storage part of the truck was covered in dirt and dust.
Josh HThe return your truck app didn’t work for this location so I had to wait nearly an hour for them to open. Than they had to back out the extra charges you automatically applied. Very frustrating.

PAUL CI just want to give a big shout out to the staff member (Ms T) there at the Uhaul location in 700 W Int’l Speedway Blvd Daytona Beach for their direction/guidance it helped me enjoy bike week which would not have been possible otherwise. Taking time to put notes in my file and adjusting my final leg of the trip and charges needed to settle my account upon return. Thanks again!!

Raymond BHave the truck available in advance, at the location selected by the customer. If the truck will not be available at the selected location, the customer should be notified by phone, that the truck will not be available for pickup at the selected location. I paid in advance... Having a Note on the Receipt that states: "This location is a preference only." ... is NOT customer service. This makes me want to use another rental company next time. This is my 2nd U-Haul rental in the past 12 months.

BILL BStaff was stand-offish and did not go over anything upon pick up. I knew from the past to look for damage and check fuel before pulling away. Didn’t even walk us out to our truck. We had to guess.
