I would recommend it for location purposes, but the location that recently closed along 140 was much nicer. The truck worked well, but the cab was average clean. No problem at all with the people or the operation of the truck. It was easy.Melissa M.

My bank account has been charged multiple times for the same uhaul usage. Now my bank account is overdrawn and in the negative. The dummy fee to hold the vehicle was charged twice on my account along with the actual fee. 73$ 2 times and 91$ 1 time. Ive tried to reach uhaul and the store and received no helpJANET G.

The gas station owner gave my reserved truck to a walk-in renter who got there 5 minutes before I arrived. The original reservation was for 8AM just 10 minutes from my home, but it was changed by U-Have to a noon pickup 45 minutes from my home. The good news is I got a bigger truck for the same price as the smaller one, and it turned out that I needed the bigger one anyway.TRACEY F.

I was charged for a dolly that I never received! The girl who provided the rental was so kind and I appreciated her polite and professional manner. The truck was not clean. It had a smell like someone doused it in some kind of spray, maybe to make it seem clean. But it wasn't. I will need to try to contact about the dolly charge. It was simple to drop off and being at a gas station also allowed for the tank to be returned at the level in which it was rented. It would have been nice to know what hours one could drop off at this location. I chose to come between 9-5 pm because I was not sure if I could drop it off later (although I could have brought it the day before if they could accept later in the evening). 1st of all my rental had the check engine ugh on and ran very poorly which I'm sure used more gas. Then I got charged for gas when I literally was at the pump and put gas in and the guy took it from me at the gas pump after I pumped gas in it and checked to make sure there was the right amount. What a poor experience renting from u haul very disappointed and I rent quite often I will be looking at other options.alex F.

The rental trailer required a separate jack to remove it from our vehicle. The drop offf location did not have the tools nor did they assist. My husband had to find things (a old tire) and crate to prop the trailer hitch on, once removed. We had our own jack luckily.JAMES B.
HAd to change pickup locations because the first one did not have the truck we ordered. The owner of that place said Uhaul was terrible and said they don't comunicate and never drop trucks off like they should. Uhaul will give a 50 refund if the truck is not where it is suppossed to be and that is probably cheaper than moving a truck. Very stressfull showing up to get a truck and no truck.Shawn C.

This is my 4th rental from this location. This is by far the best rental in and around westminster, md. I strongly suggest usiing this location! I loved the great, friendly customer service all the way through the rental experience. They were was so helpful. They even allowed me to keep the truck over night at no additional cost. The truck was well maintained and drove excellently as well and no hidden costs at all. I see no other need for using any other rental service and will be back once again! A Uhaul rep called and changed my pickup location, and gave me some additional (10) miles. When I picked up the unit, that manager also gave me some additional (30) miles, so I wouldn't have to pay for any additional mileage. Upon drop off, I was later billed for an extra 40 miles. The total U-Haul experience was horrible. Couldn't confirm truck initially. Changed locations and on the day before the move no 26' truck was there or available at that location. Even though I had reserved 10 days in advance. U Haul representative at Sunoco Cranberrry was incompetent. System was down and he gave me the phone number for the Sunoco. This place is terrible and the owner is nasty or whoever was at the front desk. The truck had check engine light on when I rented it so the vehicles are not serviced. I returned the truck in 2 hours and gave the keys back and showed mileage to the same unfriendly guy. He then called me 3 days later asking when I'm gonna return the truck!!!!! Say what!!!! Unreal. Then I get some Pro note where I owe $7 and I can't pay it because he won't answer the phone. This business sucks stay away and rent the truck from somewhere else!!!VLADIMIR O.

The cab of the vehicle was smelly but appeared clean. The outside of the vehicle was dirty but didn't cause any issues. The location was small and the attendant asked for an emergency contact name and number at the desk which I thought I had already given during the reservation process. Ths site didn't have some of the supplies that I could use to compete my move. But it did have a selection of trucks that I was able to choose from. Service manager was helpful and efficent in getting me through the rental process.Rory D.
The truck was dirty inside with what looked like dog hair and dog dander on the passenger seat. My wife, who is allergic to dogs, got hives from it. This lead me to believe the rest of the interior wasn't cleaned either which is especially concerning during covid. The truck only had 1/4 tank of gas when I picked it up so I had to fill it before I left which was annoying. Maybe this is a scam to get the customer to pay more in gas? If it has a full tank when you pick it up it's simple to return it with a full tank and the customer isn't paying for any gas he/she didn't use. But it's hard for the customer to return the truck with 1/4 tank of gas. It's more likely they will return it with more gas than that so the customer is paying for gas they aren't actually using. There were scratches, dents, and other cosmetic damage on every side of the truck so I had to take more time to take pictures of everything so I wouldn't be found at fault for it. It made me glad I got the most comprehensive insurance option, but I shouldn't have to do that. Picking up the truck from the gas station attendant was easy though, as was the check in process.ALEXANDERCARMODY H.

As the customer, I specifically asked the reservation agent if we would be charged for the rental at pick up or if it qould be at drop off. Per the reservation agent, we would not have anything charged to us until drop off. He specifically stated that UHaul never charges anything until drop off because they don't know if we will have additional charges for extra miles or extra days. However upon pick up of BOTH trucks (on different days) we were immediately charged at pick up for the full amount which caused overdraft fees to be charged to my bank account. And please dont lecture me about "holds" because its still a charge and I asked if there would be ANY charge and was told no.John T.

The person my wife returned the truck to was extremely disrespectful and womanizing. He made her take photos, using HIS phone, of the mileage. This is clearly a Covid 19 protocol issue. He claims there is a $25 upcharge if the blankets are not folded (no where in my contract does it say that) He turned it in a "dirty". This is not about the $25, this is about the way he treated my wife. After she parked, he told her she needed to back the truck into another "tight" spot. She refused to do that. He did NOT sanitize the truck and handed the keys directly over to an elderly couple. I filed a complaint with a Manager @ U-Haul. She is turning this over the other to the field manager. I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone.Richard H.

Just a short few hour rental to move wood dining/wedding chairs. When we returned truck the gentleman said we had not â€œcleanedâ€ it and suggested we would be charged $25.00. The truck looked just like it did when we picked it up which was clean. He was rather rude. We took pictures to be sure we did not get charged.
