It was confusing for dropping off. We had a 26' truck and the only location to leave it was blocking the entrance. Thankfully we noticed the lot across the street but still felt weird leaving it there.KENNETH G.

We had to drive an hour and a half to get a truck I made my reservation in March I did change the date from June 4 to may 28 they can see that in the computer the csr made the changes the. One 28. We almost didn't get a truck we where told we wouldn't have to pay for mileage and gas for that hour and a half that made us hAve to work overnight and then go back so we didn't sleep for 24 hours because hour and half of my own gas the hour and half home so wastes of personal car and the truck. The truck was supposed to be like 15 minutes to my home. The truck was dirty and I had to throw other peoples garbage away any clean off the sticky steering wheel and seat. This was by far a horrible experience the truck say gentle ride oh no my water that was more than half gone kept spilling from the hard bumps the entire way we bounced for hours. I've used haul many times and the two where so. Bad. I one year I will be moving again this was temporary move I will most definitely not be using uhaul. I can't even believe they charged me for all of this. And calling. What a joke.Mindy K.

I tried to do a self check in after hours. The Uhaul site could not verify my location via gps even though I checked the â€œallowâ€ button. I knew I was in the right location but it wouldn't let me continue with my check in.VINCENT V.

I've been to my fair share of UHaul locations. The woman that owns/runs this one is the best in my experience. The lot is well maintained and she is a pleasure to deal with.Jonathan J.
My contract stated to return the truck with a full tank of gas. When I picked up the truck the gas gauge was just over half. I traveled less than 50 miles round trip and ended up putting in 18 gallons of gas to fill the tank per my contract. I didn't necessarily think it was fair to have to put in more gas than I had used.DAVID H.

If doing a reservation online make it easier because when I tried it on line I still had to call help. My reservation wasn't listed and still had to be on the phone for 40 before and after. But thank you for your helpDonald T.

Trailer had ice on it. Straps were frayed and the ratchets need replaced. I used my own WD40 to make them work, but someone less prepared would have not been able to use them.Tyler G.

I dropped the truck off about 2 p.m. on Saturday even though our rental extended until Sunday around noon. I found the Return Your Truck option on the U-Haul software to be extremely difficult to find and use, and finally gave up just putting the keys and rental confirmation in the orange box. A user should be able to just enter the contract number and have it come up immediately.Jeffrey S.

I had issues logging into UHaul and getting my reservation for the 24-hour access. I ended up waiting until the office opened at 9:00 a.m.. it pushed back what I wanted to do. The system indicated that I had nothing reserved. the agent indicated another vehicle were supposed to leave at 5:00 a.m. and was not gone yet. There may have been a glitch in the system. The vehicle exterior had some dings, and they were noted. I felt the height of the truck for loading, the setup of the cab, and the way the vehicle operated was very good.Steven L.

A week before I needed the trailer, I reserved it at a nearby u-haul location in Mansfield PA. I wanted a 7 X 12 but all he could guarantee was a 6 X 8 that he had on the lot. I arrived at that location on the day I was to pick it up mid-morning. I was told by who I believe was the owner, that the trailer that I was assured would be there had been rented to someone else. He indicated that there was an 8 X 12 trailer in nearby Wellsboro and that he would text them to rent it to me at the rate for the 6 X 8. When I arrived at the Wellsboro office they had not received any email from him and had no knowledge of the assurances that he gave me that I would rent the larger trailer at the lesser cost. Since I originally wanted the larger trailer I agreed to rent it but felt I deserve some sort of compensation for having to drive to Wellsboro.Travis C.

Can't do anything better! Ordered online went to pick it up friendly customer service with Lisa. She walked us over and showed us the truck inside and out and off we went! Awesome experience and well worth it!Samuel I.
People that I interacted with were personable, efficient and overall terrific. However, the truck, while clean, had issues with: 1.) windshield wipers that were DANGEROUSLY degraded/torn, 2.) engine "knock" (pre-detonation) on any hill but the smallest, (89 octane helped), 3.) Intermittent belt squeal or fan clutch squeal. Once again, people were great, but equipment needs better attention. First time we have had ANY issues, BTW.David M.

Advertisement states a cheap rate, however, when you make your reservation on-line you are charged a different rate. I rented a 10' truck for a local move for a day including 30 miles and the protection plan, total was around $150. Earlier this year I rented a 10' truck for a day to bring furniture from Seneca Falls, NY to Wellsboro, PA, total was around $200. So a local rental is $50 less than a 2 hour drive rental. Where in there is the advertised $19.95 truck rental?Patrick H.
Need a better check out process. Less paperwork/forms. Everything is done on the web. Should be able to pick up the keys, inspect the truck and you are off.Joel Y.
Provide tongue jacks so that Uhaul personnel aren't burdened with lifting the trailer tongues off the customers' hitch balls.Steve K.

The 19.95 rental advertisement is very misleading!! I rented this truck and drove 45 miles (which I don't think is accurate) and my total was $93!! Wow what a very deceiving advertisement!! Will just haul my stuff on my pick up in the rain next time!!!James D.

I would strongly suggest that when quoting a truck for local running that it be mentioned to ALL whom call to let them know that there is a charge added per miles. I was informed that for local as long I was returning the truck to the same location was 19.95 a day for a 10' truck. When I get there I was asked to give an estimate on how many miles I would be driving? I guessed about 250 miles. I am then informed about the .89 cents per mile. Is it the end of the world? No, but it would have been nice to know so that I could have budgeted that into my quote for the job. I had figured around $250 for the job using the U-Haul. I ended up spending 689.22.Louis J.

I"m not sure if I would recommend it or not. The other Uhaul dealer in Mainsfield that we rented from 2 weeks prior got us a few more miles for free. That was perfect for our long trip. The Rental in Wellsboro did not give us enough miles to cover our trip. However they are new to Uhaul and maybe did not know how to do that. They were very nice and I would rent from them again.William O.

This office is a fairly new one .There a few â€œglitchesâ€ to resolve before I was able to get on the road. The truck itself was above ride and we were able to load everything we needed to take home with us.Cliff C.
