RODRICK BWe were supposed to pick up a truck in Burleson, but because of problems with the truck, it arrived a little late and determined to be unsafe to drive. We were then directed to Crowley where we were able to get a truck. It turned out to be a positive experience, even though it got us started moving a little later than planned.
SANDRA BI booked on line and was told one price and when I picked up the truck the price was around $100 more. I know it doesn't matter to you or if you'll even read this but I'll go to another company next time
RANDALL HThe representative was classless, rude, and i was charged for gas even though I returned the truck with exactly the 1/4 tank of gas required of my contract. There was THE SMALLEST amount of dirt left that was missed and he charged me for cleaning that, too, which I know took less than 10 seconds to clean out with the leaf blower he brought out when assessing the vehicle. He was slow, rude, and would not allow me to rebute, explain, or try to rectify. He was an awful, crotchety, rude old man. He should be fired for his lack of basic human decency.

Called for instructions and was told to drop the trailer next to the road with the others, luckily I had my marine sons with me or would not have been physically able to drop the trailer. Was no one to tell them poor condition of the trailer!

WILLIAM CI have not used U-Haul for some time and will probably not use them again after this experience. I booked a cargo van for a move of stuff from the house to the storage. Was all set until later that day when a rep called me and said they would not have a cargo van at that location and were setting me up at another location 25 miles farther away that had one. I asked if they would cover the difference in milage this would add, and the guy laughed and told me no. After I got off the phone, I thought that I would switch to a truck since that location 2 miles from me didn't have vans. I set that up and the same thing happened, and I ended up with a reservation 20-some miles away. Why does U-Haul's reservation system let you reserve a unit when their system can tell it not to if there is none available at that location? So, my quick move went from being 20 to 25 miles max to 50 miles. Cost me an extra $30ish dollars because of this. I had done all the paperwork on the app days ahead of time and was using the self-help option to pick up the truck. The morning of the move, I went to pick it up at this location where the units were in a grassy area on the side of the road. The app was not a quick and easy experience as advertised. Took half an hour because I had to fill out all the nonsense I had already done ahead of time. Part of this process showed me I needed to pick up the keys from a kiosk, only this location did not have one and I had to go inside and talk to a person anyway to check out the truck and get the keys. The truck looked like it just came back from going mudding. The front of the truck and up the sides of the cab were covered in mud. The truck drove okay unloaded, but when it was loaded, the steering was horrible, and the truck was difficult to control. When we were done and returned the truck, the check in was a little smoother that the check out. Except the only place to park the truck back was in that same grassy area that was now muddy. Had to do all the walk around and check in pictures trapsing through that mud that then got tracked into my car. This was not worth the price or the inconveniences at all. I only used them because the nearest Penske location is farther away from me, however, it would have worked out far better had I just gone that route. I will go back to using Penske when I need a truck. Never had issues with them ever. U-Haul just is not worth it.

David PVery friendly couple and their little puppy is adorable. Vehicles are clean and maintained. Was in and out within minutes. Do. Not allow uhaul to have you switch locations, the space station location will have your truck ready.

Darla HThe Truck Share return instructions were terrible and the process was disastrous. First off, I had to pull the truck up in the grass to park it when I got there because there were so many trucks parked along the street. Then time to mess with phone for an hour… I had to take multiple pictures of the truck twice upon return. The instructions were unclear as the return instructions kept talking about the next customer picking up this truck but then wanted key in Dropbox. No instructions on what to do with the “word Lock” that secured the cargo area and my key upon pickup. Customer service agents were not readily available by phone while the live chat messaging agent was uninformative and was not responsive to my questions. Felt like AI. When I finally got a live person on the phone, the customer service agent could not answer my questions, wanted to transfer me to another department, and threatened to charge $20 for not dropping off the truck to the location’s specifications. So after another long hold, I speak with another live agent. Unfortunately there were no instructions available to customer service on what I should do with the lock/key for truck share either. Luckily this agent was understand, gave me instructions that made the most sense to him, and placed a note on my account that I called to avoid the $20 fee. Ended up locking cargo area with “word Lock” and placed key in drop box. Not sure how next person could Truck Share unless local uhaul representative comes to prepare the truck before hand. Overall, I will NEVER use the Truck Share option again. I will drive out of my way to pick up and drop off at a location that is open on Sunday. I should have received at least a 20% discount for being scammed into this option. It should be noted that I did not choose the Truck Share option. A couple of days before my rental, uhaul called me to see if I could pick the truck up a day early since the location would be closed on Sunday. Since I was moving from an apartment, this was not a viable option for me. Truck Share was their solution and “you just need the app!”

Wesley GAwful. My reservation was a 7:30AM, MIND YOU they made me change from my original location in arlington to this location 40 minutes away - because they didn't have the truck?? What do you mean, you're Uhaul you have all the god damn trucks and I made this reservation over a week ago!! Anyway, I didn't drive off the lot until 9:00AM, what the fuck? To top it off, they also changed the location off drop day of. Worst Uhaul experience in the past decade.
