I've rented and dropped off from lots of locations and she was the worst representative I've ever encountered. Do not go to this location. If you want to see a person who makes it obvious she hates her job and hates life in general, then maybe this place is for you..

Shawn E.Each time we rented a trailer tye 5x8 had lighting issues..the first time we rented, one of the rear brake lights were very dim...the second time we rented one it was also a 5,x8 the rear lights would not turn off even after our vehicle was turned off...so we had to unplug the connection so it would not run the battery down from sitting...the manager of the colonial heights location did not notice the issue w the lights staying on..not his fault just wasn't something that is normally checked for...but that's about it...
Jonathan C.Demetre Owens was so very nice and accommodating as was Phillip. They were helpful, anticipated my needs and I ended up spending another $400-$500 at this location. Phillip actually found a location so close to my new apartment that I dropped off the unit and drove back home. However the return in KC was rough. I made sure the cab was clean, gas was where it should be and the guy taking the can rudely informed me I had parked my 26 foot mammoth of a truck in the wrong tiny spot, it needed to me moved 100 feet away. Additional my 6 dozen blankets I ordered needed to be folded neatly or I would be charged. I spent almost $2k on a rental that did not have blue tooth, USB charging and about 2 radio stations across 800 miles of wheat and corn fieldS……… I moved everything I owned 3 times in the past 8 days and my $2,000 of van rental, Dollies, bubble wrap, boxes, tape, $500 in gas and …….. I get scolded for pulling in the wrong place and not having my blankets folded. Thanks for your service at the Uhaul Power & Light…….. DICKHEAD!

My issue is with UHAUL canceling my initial location without letting me know and having me go 30 minutes to a different location for a move that was five minutes away from my old house. I think that's simply ridiculous and the UHAUL on Roan in Johnson City was also very rude and lied about informing me about the cancellation a day before my move. I ended up paying so much for something that would have cost me much less!!!
Gladys B.The trailer was well maintained and clean in the inside. The trailers were parked under trees and extremely dirty on the outside (leaves and debris). This did not affect the performance of the trailer, which worked great, but just kind of an eye sore.
Thomas L.It wasn't until after we got the trailer hitched up that we discovered that a clearance light and a license plate light weren't working. Since I had to take the unit into Canada, we didn't think it would be a good idea to ignore these minor problems. So hitching up and getting on the road took longer than expected or wanted.

What was supposed to cost $323 ended up costing well over $750 because they fee you to damn death and then there's “oh, we'll add extra miles so you don't go over since you have to come here to get the equipment you paid forâ€. Nope. Charged a dollar a mile. THEN, rented a tow dolly for my car. The guy hooks the dolly to the truck and says “You're good to go!â€. I said there's a car that goes on it. He said yeah, we don't do that but i can send you a video. Oh good! Let me watch a video that determines whether my car flies off this dolly or not. Ended up calling a mechanic friend and getting on the road almost 2 hours late.

Heather S.One worked, who spent about 40 minutes helping one customer with a trailer issue while 2 groups waited for him. Not sure why you have a guaranteed pickup time if you can't meet it. Not his fault, he needed more help. Truck I rented was full of garbage in the cab, spit bottle, fast food papers, water bottles, etc.
