There was nobody at the location even during open business hours. I had to contact uhaul to figure out how to get access to my uhaul rental truck while by myself in not the best-looking neighborhood.

They moved my reservation to a bad part of town and I was left there for two hours alone only to be called after I was on the road to say I had a reserved truck at the original location. This took over two hours total meaning the movers had to leave before they were done. This whole fiasco ended up costing me over $600.00 extra that Uhaul should compensate me for.
Deborah S.I rented a truck for 10am. I showed up at 10am to pickup the truck and the shop owner didn't show up to open his business until 10:25am. The truck was not ready for rental. It was dirty inside the cabin, the rear stowage container was filthy with mud and debris from the last renters. The gas tank was 1/4 full. I didn't leave Custom Specialties with the truck until 11am because of the different discrepancies. I recommend being prepared for customers when they come to pickup their rentals, as they might be on a schedule as well. I recommend cleaning and refueling the trucks to turnover for the next renters, if the previous renters did not do so.

Anne P.Be sure that when you choose to pick up in person that the location chosen will be OPEN! Took 1.5 hours just to get my keys for my truck. Put me WAY behind in my move. Extremely inconvenient. Multiple calls and a hour ON HOLD. My pick up time was 0830 and the place didn't open till 1000. My reservation was changed without my knowing to 24hr pick up bit was not given the appropriate information to pick up until after over an hour on the phone. AND THEN my equipment i rented, dolly/furniture pads, were NOT on the truck. Didn't have time to wait around till opening time to obtain them. Just overall a very unpleasant pick up ordeal. Extremely dissatisfied

Richard V.TRAIN the people there. HAVE THE EQUIPMENT promised. we were over 45 minutes picking up a truck that had been reserved ahead, and done the check-in online!!!! We were told this location had a 10' truck, but only had a 15 and a 20. Ran horrible, was not sure it would make the trip without breaking down. Was not cleaned out after last user.

Sandi S.my initial reservation was made at your Pace Blvd location. Upon arrival I was told that they had given my reserved trailer to someone else and I was out of luck. Very unprofessional! Then I was told to go to the W Street location, “they have oneâ€. This put me behind schedule. No explanation, whatsoever. The W street location was very helpful in taking care of my reservation. I Would NOT, use or recommend the Pace Blvd location. EVER!

The man working at the location where we picked up the unit was very helpful. We ended up loading our car on the auto transport at the rental facility. He helped load and secure the car. Having a professional load it gave us peace of mind on our trip. Really appreciated him going the extra mile.
Alex H.The truck was not up to date. The tire on the truck blew out and I felt that if the truck were being maintained properly this would have never happened. The guy should have checked to make sure that the tires were not prior to renting it out My life and my child life was placed in danger ; especially being that the guy knew that the truck was going from Pensacola to Jacksonville been on the interstate . This could've been bad for a lot of other people as well if the truck had turned over. I feel that you can purchase part of my money back for the inconvenience and putting my life in danger .
