Only issue. When unloaded and taking to end destination return, trailer socket dislocated off ball. No damage as going uphill at time. Took me 40 min to fix. Tired back I felt for 3 days. Feeling much better. I didn't receive a receipt. Tad annoying. I will call tomorrow to ad for a receipt. All else went well.

ELIZABETH B.We were told to drop the trailer at a different location, never received a text changing the location. The location we dropped the trailer off is poorly marked, there were a bunch of Uhaul truck and trailers, so we dropped it off there. No one was available to check it in. Yesterday I received a call from Damacio's, he was very nice, and went to pick the trailer up where we dropped it. Imagine my surprise when I received a bill for $21.67 for an after hours fee for dropping the trailer off. We certainly picked the trailer up without anyone being there, were told it's self service. Nowhere in the contract is there mention of an after hours drop fee. It's not the franchisee's fee, it's UHauls.

This is what you call deceptive business practice.

ANTHONY S.The fact that I had to travel 30 miles outside of the city to pick up a trailer and not get compensated for the travel or time is very disappointing because you as a company do not have the manpower to get the trailer to be more local. That should not be my problem and have to take my time and inconvenience to get it is not right. Do something about pick up and drop off to be more convenient for your customers.

ALAN L.I'm not sure whether the issue was with the location or U-Haul's remote pickup process. Regardless, I was unable to open the word lock to get the keys. I tried calling the 1800 number and tried contacting a representative via chat, but after receiving no reply in either chat or on the phone, I came to the conclusion that it was faster to find another solution to my moving needs than to wait for a response.

Glenda T.First I was supposed to go to the location at 1655 main st. in Los lunas and this man working there was so upset because he had no more room and was trying to make me go to a different location and I'm explaining to him that I dont want to drive to this other place that's I dont know how far away even though there were two empty parking spaces in his lot. Terrible customer service, tried to tell me I wasnt scheduled to drop off there which was a lie and threatened to call the police on me just because he had to do some work. So I ended up having to drive all the way to this other location and put more gas in the uhaul. This was a ridiculous horrendous experience and I will let everyone I know, know how I was treated... like scum

Adam K.Was handed a key after signing the paperwork and told it was the first truck. The truck had trash on the floor, smelled like smoke and had cigar butts in the ash tray. The truck had no cruise control and was rented to travel over 1300 miles. Also there was over 105,000 miles on the truck and the steering had a ton of play in it making it hard to keep in the lane. If it wasn't for the fact I would have had to unload and repack the truck I would have requested a different truck at some point during the trip.

ARLENE S.After taking the 6 x 12 cargo trailer and loading it, I got home and looked it over very thoroughly since I had to deliver household items for a friend 500 miles away. Though I found nothing wrong with the trailer itself or the coupling/chains, one tire was almost totally flat and the other three 15 to 25 pounds low on sidewall-indicated air pressure. I aired all four up to 60psi. When I returned the trailer, I told the proprietor about this. He replied that the U-Haul maintenance person had checked the air pressure in all of the on-site trailer tires this past Monday. Obviously, the person missed the tires on this particular trailer. This would beg the question, 'is he really doing his job or simply 'pencil-whipping' the inspection/maintenance checklists for thrall of the rental equipment'?
Wayne C.Entrance to the office consisted of a ramp and a stairway. The ramp is wood, with some of the boards rough and gapped. It might be too uneven for a handicapped person. Otherwise, the service was excellent.
