Very friendly and helpful
DONALD LEverything was exactly as explained over the phone. The costs were clearly explained. Only way it could have been better would be for a free cup of coffee to be included. Just kidding; let’s be realistic.

David PThis review is not a reflection on the rental location 1st. I reserved a week in advance a 26' truck along with 2 furniture dollys The day before I get a call that said there are no 26' trucks available in my city The lady was very helpful and we decided I would drive 25 miles away to Mayfield KY to get a 26' truck She agreed to give me a $50 credit to cover the additional miles I had to drive just to get and take back the truck in a different city I realized the morning of the rental that she actually reserved me a 15' truck. So I had to make the changes on line which made me go to another location in Mayfield In the end, I had to pay for the furniture dollys that were not able to be provided, and the extra miles with no credit applied On top of that, the truck was a literal piece of junk....it did the job, but this truck really needs to be taken off the road.

Reece SThey didn't inspect the truck with us nor make us aware of any possible issues with the truck so in the "DESCRIBE DAMAGE" the comment they noted "CUSTOMER ACCEPTS THE RISK OF WATER DAMAGE" isn't true-we didn't know that was a possibility. The customer pick-up app on our phone wasn't user friendly. We had to open the phone, take a photo of the odometer, then go back to the U-Haul app to upload the photo. There should be a button in your app that opens the phone so you can take the pic then upload/submit it. Also the customer shouldn't be able to change the fuel tank level, only verify or take a pic and submit that. The 1/4 tank was changed to FULL, likely when we were trying to upload the odometer photo, so that caused a huge charge when we returned it.

Constance EI went through the WHOLE pre-registration and payment. When I got there, it still took an hour and 4 phone calls to U-haul. The private people were very nice, but my experiences with U-haul have been very bad.

Kyle WThe drivers door seemed a little unsafe! When driving the drivers door would rattle like it was going to open . Every time I’ve rented a U-Haul the gas has always been either empty or less than 1/4 of a tank. If your going to charge for gas, then put gas in the tank!
WILLIAM JI originally had a reservation for 10ft truck online w confirmation 24hr in advance. I called on the day I was supposed to pick it up only to find out my truck had been given out to another customer. I then called another location and they surprisingly found a replacement truck at the same location I originally submitted my reservation only to find out I had to PAY yet again 🤬 I was quoted $19.95 + mileage and no mention about the $100 deposit. Very disappointed, Not even a discount nor refunded on my original reservation. Beware
James KPassenger door leaked air badly where it looks like someone used a crowbar to get in during a previous rental. Also, engine light came on after 70 miles.

Daniel DI needed an open trailer for a one way rental. In the area I needed the trailer most of the U-Haul dealers would not do one-way. That caused me to drive 80 miles to get the trailer I needed. Closer would have been much better.

Andrew VStop over charging customers. Charging an $85 hold then charging $100 for the whole thing is ridiculous. I am still waiting on the extra $85 to be credited back to my account. Not a happy customer.
