I rented a small utility trailer for my elderly mother to take a lawnmower across the state; I instead got a far too heavy box trailer, which we couldn't use (obviously) so we returned it right away. I had to replace the windshield wipers before I could even get on the road to begin my move. I called the UHaul dealership and was told to contact roadside assistance, which I did. I was on hold for over an hour, no one ever answered. My only option was to go purchase the wipers myself. When I finally reached my destination, I then realized that the truck, the $1000 rental truck, had leaked. Days later, my $2000 mattress is still wet, may have to be replaced. I have called UHaul three times since the move, still have yet to receive a response!Dawnie B.

The guys were very nice and helpful when picking up. The lack of planning on uhaul part made us drive 45 min out of the way to pick up the truck at another location. Also the AC on the truck cut out early on in our move which made Sri omg from Kentucky to Texas pretty miserable in the middle of the summer. The trailer wouldn't work with our car and we were given a hard time by another uhaul location ( where we were supposed to originally pick up our truck). We were never compensated for the crappy uhaul Friday k and had to fight to get a Refund for the trailer after receiving poor customer service at the Paducah location . I'm not very likely to rent from them again or even a uhaul. We called the uhaul hot line during all of this and again after the move and were ever contacted back about the AC in the uhaul or about the poor customer service. U Haul is not up front and truthfully when describing their truck size. Unknowingly I rented a 15 foot truck that has less than 15 foot length on the footprint of the floor. So renting a 15 foot truck actually will not allow you to transport 15, 14 or 13 foot material. The space of Grandma's Attic should be revealed that it is included when making a reservation. The parking break was not working on this rental. The windshield was not clean when I picked up this rental. To start the clock the moment a contract number is generated is an over charge to the customer. Why should the customer start paying on a rental he cannot start using? The 20 to 30 minutes or more to process all the information and complete a walk around should not impact my pick up time.david S.
Only negative points where, I needed 12 moving pads only had 6, they could figure out how to remove the 12 and only give me 6. So I got 6 and paid for 12. Didn't have time to set around and figure it out. Also needed a furniture dolley and didn't have it either. Had to purchase one from Lowe's. Every thing else was ok.Timothy W.

The only negative is the windshield could have been cleaned before renting. It had a large area of bird dung all the length of the drivers left side column smeared about 2 to 3 inches. Other spots were not very signficant.david S.
Our truck return was scheduled for a time after the return location was closed for the day. The online return system did not work and directed me to call the 800 number. This system generates a lot of confusion and needs attention. When we reserved the truck, we told the agent in NC that we would need the truck for a longer period than the 4 days allowed in the contract since our new home wouldn't be ready until 7 days after the rental date. The NC agent made a note in the computer system in regard to our keeping the truck for a longer period. We returned the truck on 20Apr19 as planned instead of 17Apr19 as per the contract. Two days after returning the truck, we received an emailed invoice for an extra 5 days of rental instead of the correct 3 days. I called D&C Rental to point out the incorrect invoice and received a corrected invoice later that morning. I have not yet received a credit for the incorrect initial invoice of $286.20. After what became a very heated discussion with the D&C owner (Donnie), I am still not satisfied that a credit has been issued, and told Donnie that I plan to issue a complaint thru my credit card company to contest the incorrect charge.Terry R.

Not related to the exact location, but we received a fraudulent Uhaul charge on our credit card, in addition to t he charge at this location. A second charge was made from location 830071 in Ft Myers, FL, and we had more fraudulent charges in the day or two after that, so had to have our credit card canceled.kevin M.

The uhaul van had issues with getting stuck 4 times during my move. The insurance that I paid for only covers damage to the van which I couldn't understand. If it covers roadside then why not cover getting pulled out of dirt or snow.Delisha R.
.99 per mile is a bit stiff. I only get paid .53 a mile. Current federal standard is 54.5. Cost of the truck should include a set of mileage for local, perhaps 50 miles, just as one way includes milage. Then anything over that maybe charge .99.Daniel C.
