Kate was great. Very accommodating and friendly. Came to return the trailer and was very frustrated. Who makes a 6x12 trailer with a 4foot ramp on the back? I drove over an hour and a half each way to get my new side by side only to get there and it not fit in the trailer. The very unpleasant older lady that was there for the return was acting as though I was an inconvenience to her and wouldn't even entertain the idea of giving me some sort of refund or swap for a trailer that would suit my needs for today. I had the trailer for a total of 3 hrs (drive time there and back) on a 24hr rental . If you're lucky enough to deal with the young lady Kate, you'll have a great experience... it's time for the older folks to learn a thing or two about how to work with customers ...Trevor S.
Everything was great for us however apparently the truck got double booked so another customer couldn't get the truck they needed until we returned ours. We had only booked for 4 hours and so returned it by 4pm however when we picked it up we were told we could have it for 24 hours . Then received a phone call asking when we were returning it as someone was waiting. I. This case we only needed it to pick up some new furniture but if we were moving and actual apartment then we may have just kept it for the full 4 hours or even 24 and that poor other person would have been even more upset!Elissa Q.
Need to have a service with handy men if customer needs help to move in just the coperate area because it was a bit trouble for me to do my moving but thank God something works out but otherwise I am ok with the service and your staffing they're awesome thanksEccleston J.

Brakes on van are in terrible shape - steering wheel had a very bad shimmy every time brakes were applied. Van should not be on Road until situation is rectified.david L.

We picked up the truck and there was no walk around or anything. We were moving my cousin into her first home and we went to get her furniture. When we got to her house we got stuck on a flat stone driveway. When we got out to look why we were stuck it was because all four tires were completely bald. I mean no tread what so ever. That truck should never have been rented out. I have pictures of the tires I can send you. When I called this location to tell them they said that there was nothing they could do that the truck tires were only meant for summer weather. I would have to call head office. He couldn't bring me another truck and offered no solution for getting the truck towed. He said I should go to where we were dropping off the truck and see if they could help. That's exactly what we did and they were fantastic over and above to give us a truck for a couple of hours. We finally got the other truck unstuck and dropped it off at the drop off location too. I want my money back. First off that truck was totally unsafe to be on the road. Secondly, the place we picked it up at was no help at all. Thirdly, we wasted hours and hours of our time trying to get my cousin moved because of the issues with the truck. I would like someone to call me with a resolution for this. I booked a cargo van at this location but they did not nor do they ever have cargo vans at this location so I was forced to take a truck to do what I needed to do. Very annoying. Staff at this location were great.sandra M.
Remove "major credit card" restriction on the Cargo van. Was forced to rent a 20 ft moving van for 3 pieces of furniture due to only having Visa Debit even though it went through perfectly online while reserving the 9' cargo van.Tim V.

Cargo van wasn't cleaned in between customers- we found pop cans and a used mask in the door- during Covid times especially, it was definitely disappointing/concerning that they weren't double checked and wiped between rentals.Andrea S.

Uhaul called me before my rental to say they had to change the location of my rental. The agent told me they would discount my mileage charge by 30% becasue of the location change - however it wasn't refected on my final bill. Thanks, DaveDave J.

Customer service was poor. Inital service desk attendant insisted we booked a smaller van, and would not listen to my husband when he told then we had booked a larger unit. He had to drive 1hr back to the warehouse, where I had the reservation details, and I had to return to the location to get the van we ordered. We dealt with a much nicer employee this time, but it cost us and extra hour of our time, and an hour we had to pay the movers and the warehouse employees ( over $350) extra cost incurred at our expense due to an obstinant employee. We will not be referring this location to anyone!!!Harold I.

The young man ( teenager ? ) was obviously less experienced than the lady I had spoken to when I booked the rental, although he was pleasant got the job accomplished I was there about 30 minutes just to get the forms completed etc. Also , being a technician with Ford for many years , I noticed the steering was very tight which caused the vehicle to wander . I'd suspect that with the low mileage on the vehicle it probably needs the steering linkage and suspension greased. Sincerely Dave EllsDAVID E.

1. Dangerous error: Nice service, but after checking fluids, left both hood catches off leaving a dangerous situation for me when I reached highway speed. 2. Overcharges: Initial quote, with insurance, was $200 (incl tax), onsite rate was $over $300; and arrival rate ended up being over $400, in spite of sufficient kilometrage. 3. User Friendly? Trucks have no CDs (radio useless with few channels available on the road for distance driving), or USBs, or electric windows for convenience (important on when driving as you can not reach other side. .Peter H.

Trailer towed very easily. Service at the station was great. The attendant was very knowledgeable and helpful. My only issue was trailer not true to measurements. Not 6 feet high as posted. Which caused a bit of an issue. All in all I would certainly use againLaurie G.

Trailer did not fit vehicle as it was an older version of the flat deck. Since the trailer "left the lot" they were not able to refund it. I reccomend that Uhaul revise the fitment specs for the E46 BMW Chassis as it wouldn't fit with a system of ramps and 2x12 boards on the deck itself. Wheel base is also too long... wasted 4 hrs, fuel, and no refund.. thanksMichael R.
Ask the customer if there is any specific unit they want to use. Have it ready for pick up...ie move other units that were haphazardly left there by customers that were in the way for pick up of the unit behind the one in the way. Check for any breaks in the rubber grommets that secure the safety chains.GEORGE B.

I had problem with the trailer 50Km away from my old house, I had only 1385Km more to go. I lost over an hours waiting for repair, After dark I notice the lights on the trailer again were not working all the time, I call road side assistance and they could not find any one to come and fixed the light, so I had to stop and wasted the night driving, that made me late to have some one to help me unloading the trailer and truck I had to do it all night because all the help I was suppose to get had to work the next morning, also I had to return the equipment for 10 am, this made a hell of a long 2 days. I would like U haul to compensate me for the amount of problem I had wit the trailer and the truck. The truck had a hard time to maintain a speed over 80Km and the leave springs were extremely weak.ROB T.

Trailer light connector didn't work initially. After checking the cables I was able to get it to work but after leaving I periodically had to reinsert the connector as it did not make good contact. I was also told by the employee that I had 5 days for the trailer. This was clearly wrong as I was charged an extra day at the end.Thomas D.

Greetings! I found the truck to be a bit grimy on the inside, including garbage from a cigarette pack. Normally I wouldn't be quite so concerned...but considering the scope of the COVID-19 pandemic cleanliness and sanitary conditions should be top priority. My biggest complaint is that when I looked into renting a UHAUL, the only option that turned up on the internet was this location for my area and that for the day I wanted to book it was considered to be "after hours" and that I would have to use the online booking system. I'm a bit old fashioned and prefer to speak with real, live humans! However, using the information I was provided I reserved the truck and waited for moving day to arrive. Upon arrival, one month later the booking system proved to be terrible. There was a malfunction in the online payment system and despite using the live chat feature AND concurrently calling customer service (where I eventually got through to Wayne in Arizona!!) I was told that there was nothing anyone could do until the system was reset and I would just have to wait. There was no other way to proceed with my booking until my payment had been processed. This was 1.5 hours after arriving to pick up the truck. Finally, I went into the service centre and lo and behold, there were two wonderful, friendly people working who had all of the answers, were OPEN for reservations and that UHAUL services were available in person. Problem solved. In 5 minutes. I'm all for the streamlining of services, but between incorrect information for a rural location and a faulty online payment service, I was put through the wringer and wound up having to reshuffle all of my moving logistics. My 1.5 hour delay turned into a half day behind schedule....which is hard when there are small children involved and only one human to help with all my lifting due to pandemic bubbling restrictions. In the end, the young man, Braedon at the service centre was amazing....and allowed me to bring the truck back when I was finished at no extra charge and was truly a delight to meet. This was the first time in my adult life I have ever booked a UHAUL for moving, finally growing wise enough to see the value in convenience and sanity of only a couple trips, vs. 1,000 in my little car. HOWEVER I would strongly encourage the company to work out the bugs of the online reservation/phone pickup/drop off service before advertising it as the next best thing. In some areas I'm sure it works great, but not all locations are actually set up for the service to be effective. I will absolutely book a UHAUL again in the future, it's awesome....but I will, as I always do in all of my dealings, prefer a human over a computer any day.
