Had a nightmare experience with Uhaul! I reserved for a Sunday pickup/dropoff in Pottstown…Uhaul changed my reservation for pick up Saturday in Harleysville with a dropoff Sunday. They charged my credit card without my permission and allowed someone else to pick up the truck on Saturday. Still waiting for the district manager to call me to explain what happened and give me a refund. My original reservation apparently doesn’t exist and they offered to schedule me a new reservation, as if I would want to rent a truck from them after this fiasco! Not to mention, what kind of company would even make me pay for a new reservation! Extremely POOR customer service! I DO NOT Recommend! Rent from PENSKE instead.

JEFFREY FThe truck I had had many problems. The driver side door didn't shut fully' thw driver side windows handle falls off, the back door for the truck where all your stuff is, wouldn't close freely. I had to step on the handle to close it repeatedly.

Scott WUnfortunately U-Haul changed my pick up location to this one. My first location was five minutes away. This location was 30 minutes away from my house. When I got there, it did not have the right equipment that I rented, the refrigerator. dolly was not available and I rented that on the app. I’m not happy about this, luckily I confirmed the truck when I realize the location was different. The gentleman told me there that sometimes when locations are changed they don’t even have the truck in stock for the customer. I think this needs to be fixed. I’m not happy that I had an extra 50 minutes to pick up my truck and they did not have the equipment that I rented.

GREGORY MIt would be good if 10ft truck had seating for 3. If going far, only 2 people can travel in the truck, 3 seats or bench seat would be good for another body to help load and unload vs having a 3rd person driving another vehicle to the unloading destination.

Nicole GThe vehicle provided was fine but I was charged way too much for mileage. I took two trips to the next town over and stopped at a few stores in town. I was billed for 112 miles when it shouldn’t have been more than 40.

oscar vI picked the cargo van up the day before because I wanted to start my day early and they don't open until 9. I brought the vehicle home, parked it on my property. When i went out in the AM I noticed there was a Crack in the front bumper then I inspected the rest of the vehicle and saw green scraps on the driver side of the vehicle. The owners of the property never came out to the vehicle with me to do any inspection or said anything about prior damage when I picked it up. I returned the vehicle hours before it was expected and told the owner of the property about the pre existing damage. He said he'd check the vehicle in but was on a phone call and never left the property. When I got my closing email he sent a report about the damages as if I was responsible. The van was not vacuumed out, it seems to me that this property just checks the vehicles in without leaving their building and has no idea about the condition unless it's brought to their attention. This location is very convenient to my home but I will never patronize their business again.

John JI’m very upset that after returning my truck to U-Haul with $55 of gas and under the mileage that I was given, a charge of $54 was added to my final bill due to a $40 charge for an additional day and $14 charge for additional insurance. My truck was due back at 11:00AM and I got there at 1:15PM. Does that 2 hour and 15 minutes really need to be called another whole day?

Audrey BThis business owner displayed the worst customer service I ever encountered. First, they checked the return in the following day and double charged me. Easy mistake. When I called to inform him he told me he was done for the day and going home, he would have to take care of me tomorrow. Refused to address my concerns and hung up on me. I strongly suggest not partnering with the pompous entitled asshole who attempts to run a business. This was after I walked around the store for 20 mins before finding someone to help me when picking it up in the first place. Pathetic location!
