Drop-off location clipped me for a $25 cleaning fee for a perfectly clean (swept and leaf-blower'd) truck. A very disappointing end to a 34-month storage and rental relationship with Uhaul.

ANNA PI'm not sure whether it was the website or what, but I had good cell service, and it still took me almost half an hour to upload all the pictures needed once I got there. It might be a good idea to have wifi available to use for these 24/7 pickups. I also was lucky I had my passport in my wallet. It would have been good to know I'd need a second form of ID ahead of time.

Mark PI want to be clear: Dann's Garage was awesome. U-Haul itself is more of a struggle...the tires on the trailer were severely and unevenly underinflated. Given that someone had delivered this to Dann's the night before, I'd say that responsibility is on the Kalispell location. Then I struggled to figure out how much I could actually tow. My Subaru Crosstrek's owner's manual says the limit for an unbraked trailer is 1000 lbs. The empty 5x8 trailer is 900 lbs. I only discovered all of this after I had picked up the trailer. U-Haul website says I can tow this trailer maxed out at 2700 lbs total, which is almost more than the car weighs. One U-Haul rep said I had to follow the owner's manual. Another said I could tow up to the 3500 lb hitch rating. Both U-Haul humans seemed misguided. I called a Subaru dealership and they said I should be fine to tow about 1700 lbs, so I loaded 800 lbs of stuff into the trailer and safely towed it across the country. I can say for certain that 1700 lbs was on the high end of safe for what this car could tow, especially in winter. 2700 lbs would have likely been fatal. Given how much U-Haul preaches safety, I'm a bit irked at how much responsibility U-Haul placed on me as a customer, and how one person says I can't tow the trailer at all, and another human and the website were both setting me up for death. I'm glad to work in public safety and have a clue about safety ratings and such and was able to figure out a workable solution.

It seemed like I was always interrupting him when I would stop by to pick up a trailer, but he always stopped to take care of my needs and was very nice and helpful. Would definitely recommend Dann’s garage for U-Haul needs in Eureka!

Linda EI periodically rent Uhaul trucks and trailers. There is only a single Uhaul dealer in Eureka, Montana where I am located. Hence one would think we're stuck regardless of the dealer. Not true, however, even if I were to be located in an area where there would be a choice, I'd go to Danny's. He respects his customers and and makes a great effort to accommodate them. I appreciate what he does.
Timothy NDan's Garage was closed when we arrived in the evening. A neighbor who rents on the property told me he'd be back the next day. She thought it would be OK to leave the empty trailer there, which I did. I dropped my document in his U-Haul mailbox. I left a phone message just before we drove to Dan's Garage (after I'd unloaded at a storage locker 3 miles away). I had the trailer more than five days. It took me 3 days to load up and I had to wait for my wife to get home from her weekend gig out of town. So I know I owe some extra money, but I don't know how much. This is the first time I've driven with a trailer -- almost 3,000 miles, some of it very hectic freeway driving with big trucks, etc. I'm happy and grateful that everything came off well. I would do this again. Please let me know how much extra I'll be charged for those additional days. THANK YOU!!! -Bob Lamming
ROBERT LThe inside was very clean. The outside front was not clean but did not impact the operabilitu. The dolly and blanket pack was not inside as ordered, and unable to retrieve them as the facility was closed on a Saturday pickup day.

The company in South Beloit: Tony’s Towing was arrogant and called me a liar when I complained about the roof leaking and disregarded my belongings being damaged due to the roof leak. On top of that he had the nerve to charge me for a mop out when it only needed it because of the leaky roof
