To date, I've rented a Car Hauler 4 times and one of their largest trucks from this location over the past 2 - 3 years and never had an issue. Friendly staff and great customer service at this location. If renting from U-Haul in Jackson County or surrounding areas, I highly recommend using this location.

Albina RoachCorrect auto-loader hookup. The office worker didn't want to stand in the inclement weather for proper hookup and inspection I suppose. I prefilled all my info for quicker checkout and was still asked all these questions despite the employee having all the info already on their screen. These 'mom and pop" locations nickel and dime customers for everything. Mobile pickup is the way to go for sure. I've spoken with corporate in Pheonix and realize there is an issue sometimes with these small locations.
Kyle TrujilloBack of box truck was dirty but she said she would clean it. I said I would take care of it, no problem. But the cab smelled like cigarette smoke. Would be nice if truck had more than just a quarter tank of fuel. I am used to picking up trucks that are at least 3/4 full.

She only said ‘all I have is local, if you want one way you’ll need to pick up in Jefferson.’ (I had already told her I could pick up or drop off anywhere around Athens, Monroe, Oxford or Covington).

William SwattProblems getting the rear door opened, (when you finally pull it off hard enough, it’s absolutely flies up there at a scary rate), then once we finished loading, that same door was stuck in the open position and it took us 45 minutes to get it to go down. The worst part was the day after I returned it and spoke to Susan at the local U-Haul location about the broken door and she said “oh yeah, we’ve known about that, U-Haul just hasn’t come out and fixed it yet” to which I responded “then why the heck didn’t you tell me in advance and why did you give me a broken vehicle? I would like some type of discount to represent our troubles”. She said “I don’t think we can do that, they won’t give you any discount”, so I will not be using U-Haul again.

She sighed and got up from her desk and walked across the room and turned on lights on the other side of the room from her desk. Sandy JenningsThe truck had trash in the cab and smelled like smoke. The place in the door on the inside where you pull the door to was filled with water. It hadn't rained in days. Pretty gross. The tank was a quarter full so I had to stop immediately and estimate how much gas to get, based on the operators guess about mileage and tank size causing me to put well over the needed amount of gas, and making this a more expensive use than necessary. Previous rentals from this location have been better.
