JEFFREY MThey were closed on Sunday, just dropped the truck off. But I did leave more gas that I put in the tank then when we got the truck, we got it at 1/4 of a tank of gas, dropped it off with 3/4 of a tank of gas. We’ll see if anything comes out of that.

William GQuicker text message at time of pickup. I drove the truck away and to my destination a few miles from my pickup location before I received the text message to document the starting fuel level, mileage, condition of the vehicle and license plate number. It’s gotta get to the customer before they drive the truck off the lot.
Jeff SYou might want to inform customers that the check in process for your Share 24-7 takes about an hour due to uploading photos and waiting for authorization. That’s helpful information to share with whoever is dropping you off to pick up the truck. Thanks.

Frank LThis is not against the pick up or drop off location but I changed the date to a day earlier and uhaul raised it $100 and I called and they took it off but my mileage went down about 25 miles. I would not have put on that many miles if you had offered me a closer place to drop off. I had to back track another 40 miles one way just to drop the truck off. So because I went over the 179ish miles, I got charged an extra $80. Always had a good experience with uhaul but this put a bad taste in my mouth for uhaul.

Arden SI'm booked my truck in my trailer a month and a half in advance. The day before pick up of said reserved equipment etc my truck nor their equipment were available for me anywhere within a hundred mile radius. I had to drive 142 miles to pick up my truck and and equipment and drive 142 miles back. Give or take 3 hours in n each directio. The pick up location was definitely an inconvenience to say the least the gentleman who runs that pickup location is a godsent would recommend him and his business to anyone. I would not recommend u haul in any way shape or form. The extra expense time and inconvenience was traumatizing and stressful as hell when moving is already stressful. I will say any employee in person speaking with beautiful. Unfortunately anyone I spoke to on the phone was either ill informed or incapable of dealing with the situation at hand. That goes to locating equipment in a truck that should have been closer to making sure I had a storage unit available. For what I paid I could have paid a private company to come and move everything for me take my advice do not go with U-Haul.

Stephen HLocation was great. There is NO cell signal at location therefore "24/7 truck share" will NOT work. You cannot access internet to do the pretrip check in or post trip check out. As far as the selection of trailer or truck availability, it is slim pickins. The location personnel are great. They haven't been diong "Uhaul" very long so they haven't developed the usual"shitty" costomer service associated with "Uhaul".
David FMy only problem was when I tried to return it through the site it would not recognize my location. I spent almost an hour in the cold doing it over and over now they are changing me an extra $20. To do it the next day.
Rose PI paid for the plan for $5 that covers getting unstuck from mud/snow/ice. I sunk into a lawn in front of the house. I called Darrows and they sent someone out who said he could not help. I asked him what to do, and he said I would have to contract with a local towing service myself. I did so, and paid $125 for the job that took less than 5 minutes. Darrows is now saying that they will not reimburse that cost. Please explain what I paid the $5 for that was to cover this situation.
