The experience I had was horrible all the way around. When I went to pick up my U-Haul truck, I was placed on a list to where I had to call and make a payment on something that I did not do. Back in 2023 I rented a U-Haul truck in rock Hill South Carolina used it to do my move returned the truck with a full tank of gas, which I still have two to stay the bank statements to prove it, but in order for me to get the truck, I had to pay $104 because I supposedly return the truck with out fueling it up which is not tru. I feel that the gas was stolen from the truck and I had to pay somebody else else’s issue in order for me to be able to move my family to our new home. I was not able to dispute it because if I was going to dispute it, I was not able to rent the truck until it got disputed. I feel like it was very unjust and unfair and that you guys need a better system.. because since 2023, I moved out of South Carolina moved back to Florida lived in Florida for six months moved back to North Carolina and wow in North Carolina. We moved three times and at no moment U-Haul flagged dispose gas charge until almost 4 years later, I feel and know that they take pictures when trucks are returned. I would like for them to see the pictures of the truck when it was returned at the moment I was there and see what I’m being charged so you can see it was something that was out of my control and not something that I caused.. on top of that I moved from Davenport Florida to Winter Haven, Florida, but I was made to deliver the trunk in Lakeland to where it caused me to go over 1.3 miles over my total usage miles and I was once again charged for that, even though I put way more gas than I was supposed to, because I am that type of person if I pick up a truck with 200 miles left I’m gonna return the truck with 250 miles and I was once again injustice Lee charged even though it was just three dollars. It’s besides the point it’s about the principal in the way that the lady that checked me in at the Lakeland U-Haul didn’t help because she was literally laughing about it and saying I’m sorry I gotta charge you. I would like for someone from U-Haul to give me a call so they can investigate the whole gas issue and for me to be reimbursed the $104 that I paid unjust because I was caught in a situation to where I was desperate and needed the truck at that time. I refuse to give a company more than one star when I know I was literally robbed and no, I do not recommend a company that made me feel like a criminal.

No signage for where to put the truck. Multiple business’s operating out of vehicles there. Not a lot of room to move around. Not much communication from the person at the counter. The area was chaotic, loose dogs on property. The area did not feel safe

STEPHANIE HThe parking is tight for the U-Haul trucks and could cause issues; no parking is available for customers at the location. The truck hasn't been cleaned or washed in a while; dust, pet hair, and residue from drinks or spills have dried inside.

DARLINE FThe truck was dirty, and the dashboard looked like a Christmas tree with so many yellow lights on. Ignition light, tire pressure light, and other lights I didn't recognize... the dashboard kept beeping for 15 seconds every 3 to 5 minutes.
Marcelo RMary was extremely helpful, going above and beyond explaining how the system works since I had an inconvenience at the ACE hardware location. They couldn't find the keys to the van nor trucks. I don't think that's very professional at all but Mary at the Chevron location made it all better. Also the rest of the team in the afternoon were very friendly and helpful. The lady even offered to park the van for me after I put gas.

shakira smy reservation was at 730 am on 6/20 for a 20 ft truck. when i uber to the pick up place there was no 20 ft truck available they had changed my reservation to 26 ft truck i called and had to go to another store to pick up a different truck making my pick up at almost 830 i had movers with me so i had to pay them an extra hour someone was supposed to contact me and nobody call me yet. the chevron store help me but i need to know who is going to pay the extra hour for the movers

Turned our drop off into a 45 minute ordeal. Keybox is not in an obvious spot either. We did not interact with any employees.

ARQUIMEDES LIt's a convenient spot to return vehicles since its a gas station but it's in a bad part of town and a lot of transient and vagrant people tend to walk the area.
Steven JIt was a bit cramped to get my truck into this lot. The kind lady that I gave my keys to was not confident in her spoken english. However, she was pleasant. Also, she charged me for two gallons of additional fuel and I purposefully filled the truck up to the 7/8ths of a tank before I turned the truck in.

EDWIN BLocation is cluttered and no very inviting. I would not stop at that location unless I had no other choice. The staff is very friendly though, the building, the parking lot, even the gas pumps are just way too cluttered.
