The person at the counter was not trained to wait on me. I had to wait over 45 minutes for someone to come that knew how to do the paperwork. I had reserved the dolly the day before and told them the time that I would be picking it up. When I returned it at the time they had indicated, there was no one there to receive and it was during regular business hours.

Tried to reserve a truck online for local one-day move. Was told by website that no trucks were available. Went to location and reserved a truck.

Establish a drop box for the vehicle keys. There was no after hours drop box and no mail slot. No one at U-haul knew what to do because the person responsible for the Berkeley Springs, WV location (at your HQ) was on vacation and left no instructions.

Trailers should have a jack that way you don't have to manually lift them to hook to vehicle. There's a lot of tongue weight on an empty 6x12 enclosed trailer.

There is nothing more that you could do to make it any easier or simple to pick up the rental truck. Being that it was a holiday week and Dawson's was closed, Vernon was able to get there on Thursday to get us going and was very helpful. The location is directly across from the storage facility directly across the road. Perfect location. Perfect service.

The truck was not ready on the promised day by 2 days and we were forced to rent a truck the next week that was much bigger and therefore cost more money, However the 2 gentlemen we worked with were very helpful and tried to help us. If you are renting a truck for local work, I recommend Dawsons

I'm sure most people don't pick up their trucks at 10pm, but it would have been very nice to have had a little light where the trucks were parked. It was pretty dark and difficult to see the numbers on the trucks to make sure I had the correct one. That is my only complaint.

The tires were not pumped up. Irritating that this is was the ONLY location in the western panhandle that offers flatbed trailers (and had 4 in stock) in short notice supply. Would like to see U-Haul evaluate supply-demand elsewhere (e.g. Martinsburg, WV) and offer short-notice availability of trailers at more than one location in the Panhandle. Also, this location did not offer military discount. I've used U-Haul for PCS moves before and was able to take advantage of the discount. Please make this policy consistent across the board.

Our pick up location was changed WITHOUT notifying us. We showed up at the requested and reserved pick up location only to find our truck was delivered to a different location 15 minutes away. Then we could not do the mobile pick up and we wasted 2 hours waiting for the new place to open. Very unhappy with this entire UHaul experience. Weve used uHaul several times in the past and never had a problem like this.
