Truck needed an alignment and tires balanced and rotated. It was a nightmare 1000 mile trip. I fought that truck all the way.

Rating:

It was just a little far out of the way and the representative did not even bring the truck around. We had to walk a ways to get to it.

The staff had everything ready when I arrived, and went over details completely. All involved were friendly, efficient, and professional.

I form the customer how much fuel the tank holds, so they can better calculate how much gas they need to purchase to bring the tank up to the level it was when picking up the van.

While the equipment and location were good the rental did not work.

I initially rented online to pick up at Gates Auto in Berkely Springs. I had a 7am pickup. The app did not mention they open at 9 (this needs to be fixed). I waited until 9, no one showed up there. I waited until 915 then decided to go to Ace Hardware for rental. Gates needs to be aware they need to open on time.

But not if I get dinged for cleaning charges. Also, I am getting dinged $2.90 every time I return the truck here. Only being allowed 109 miles which does not give me any extra mileage. I live 5 miles from the Eldersburg Carroll Fuel store and it is 106 miles from my home in Finksburg to my home in Berkeley Springs. My Berkeley Springs home is 3 miles from Dawson's. I still have 2 to 3 truck rentals to go.

Don’t park the uhaul in the grass. It was wet the day I picked it up and it just spun in the grass and I had to gather up gravel and throw under the wheels so it could pull out
