Had to wait 10 minutes for the manage to come over, but he was very courteous and hooked the trailer up for me.
Scott MSupposed to be mobile because they aren’t open that early but app said I had to go inside and that person had no idea what was going on and they had to make several phone calls to get information and then come to find out that they didn’t have dollies available because they don’t offer them when I had already ordered it and they didn’t offer any money back or a way to get that resolved. Wouldn’t go there again!

Robert BSo glad that 1 out of 3 U-haul locations in town is open on weekends. My rental was a last minute decision that only lasted a couple of hours so the availability was a big plus. Staff were generally quite helpful.
Samuel WI had requested a vehicle to be picked up in Charleston, IL because that is where we were moving from. They called the day prior to tell us we would have to drive to another town to pickup a vehicle. It was a bit inconvenient to have to drive another 30 mins or so to pick up a vehicle. This added an hour to our day. However, U-Haul graciously added miles to our trip which we were not charged for and even offered an upgrade in vehicle. They did try to compensate for the situation, which I am thankful for. Good customer service.

Ryan SThe truck needed an alignment, luckily it was able to drive with the wheel offset. The drop off location that I was given was not an official drop off location so I went through the entire return process only to find out that there was no drop box and that the company that I was given to return the truck to does not work with UHaul. Found out there was a UHaul center 900 get away, went there to avoid the truck getting towed from the address I was given, then talked to the employees at the UHaul center who said no that’s not right but we can’t do anything, you’re going to have to call customer service. So I spent 45 minutes on the phone trying to get someone to help me get a new drop off location without being charged because this was not my mistake. All together an extra hour out of my time was lost because I had to correct this mistake so that the truck didn’t get towed or I get charged for it not being At the address I was told to leave it at. The process up to this point was very easy to figure out and very convenient but I am dissatisfied with the fact that UHaul is giving a rental drop off location that is not an official drop off location.
Megan TThere was no one there trained to help with this rental. They were very nice though and tried their best. Your online website is very unfriendly to use for folks not used to using them. Returning the truck was much easier though. Pleased with the cleanliness of the truck but it gets horrible gas mileage. Also, the price per mile is too expensive.
Brenda BThe phone number I was given to call when I arrived at the drop off was not answered so I had no choice but to lock the keys in the truck to prevent theft of the truck. Other than that it was a better place to have to drop off U-Haul’s property. Safer

Stephanie SThe location is somewhat hard to see from the road. I checked the van in on Saturday and they had not confirmed that. I had to call to confirm it was checked in on Wednesday. Very poor service. However, I spoke with an agent named Kevin on the phone. I cannot say enough positive things about him. He was incredibly friendly and understanding. He was able to resolve the issue quickly and to my satisfaction. Kevin saved my experience from being 100% negative.
Matthew JOffice open no one insight. A person that live there had to call the owner so my husband could ask him about checking in the auto transport. We rented on Friday the 13 rented it Saturday the 14th. He denied having in the possession until I told him you talk to my husband on Saturday you told him to park it in the parking lot and you would take care of it. But didn't until I call the owner again Monday morning stil didn't check it in until late evening Monday the 16th of August
WILLIE SI was guaranteed a pick up at 0800 at a different location, they called me in the morning and switched it to this location for pick up. I arrived at 9:15 so they would have time to process previous return. There was no one at the location, it took 3 phone calls and a hour wait to get it straightened out. The truck was on 1/8 tank of gas or less with 22 miles to empty . There was also a sign posted about $50 off guarantee if truck not ready as promised. Well I didn’t get $50 off

BRANDON HLocation is a tan down hotel that looks like a drug deal is about to happen. The manager there was in his car collecting hotel fees like dealer. No paper work or professionalism at all. I would rather carry my stuff across country on my back than rent from uhaul again

Joe ANobody there. Phone to call employee did not work. Nasty hotel to drop off at. Hard to drop off a 20 ft trailer plus car dolly. Paid cash to rent so how do I get my $100 back?

Chet PIt took the agent multiple attempts to enter information and have me on my way but your website kept him from finishing the last steps so he would start over. Furthermore the dropoff options are a joke since it would not let me chose .And who wants to lift the tongue on these trailers ? I will check competition next move.

Brian JHe charged me another $56. I have contacted your customer service department on July 25. They committed to get back to me in 48-72 hours. I have not heard back from them. Your customer service line keeps me on hold for extensive times.
Matthew BJohn was not there in my time to pick up the truck and trailer. I ordered a 20’ truck 2 weeks prior and they couldn’t deliver! It made my move much more difficult with having a trailer and not proper size of truck.

J aI have got Uhaul several times. The trucks are so clean and nice I would eat off the floor... but not this truck. First off, windshield was cracked. There was soda splattered all over the inside. The windshield was nasty dirty. There was cigarette ash in the cup holder, and finally the inside was muddy as hell!

Charles MWent above and beyond to make sure i had the exact piece of equipment as i requests. They didn't have to but drove 45 minutes to get the trailer i needed. Best customer service. Go to them you will not be disappointed.
Jankee PWhen I made my reservation online I deliberately selected no insurance I was only towing a truck 73 miles I didn't need it was an old truck. When I showed out to pick up the trailer the system had changed my selection to adding the insurance? that's a scam U-Haul should not do that to people if I wasn't paying attention I would have had to pay for the insurance. because of the suggestive selling of the clerk I went ahead and got it but felt pressured but now I regret it because realizing that U-Haul scammed me by altering my selection after I made the reservation. The reservation when it's made online I should get a copy of all the things I checked but I don't so the U-Haul computer system is programmed to add on the insurance even though you didn't want it. If I wasn't paying attention I would not have caught it.
M AThe owner tried to hook-up the trailer at a 90 degree angle. This is insane. I refused to hook-up the trailer this way. The owner them became very cool. I will never rent from this place ever again.

Joel ODifficulty with contract When I scheduled on phone I asked for 1 day my contract came back as 2 days I was scheduled to have insurance which I did not want and no one had ever asked me if I wanted insurance He had me initial the gas tank as being 9/16 full but when I looked at the gas gauge it was less than 1/2 tank When I inquired at the desk about the gas I got the same answer I got when I inquired about the insurance and the 2 day instead of the 1 day rental; "who ever made the reservation did it" There was no sense of taking responsibility. I returned the car at 6:40 PM. They said they closed at 7PM. When I asked for a receipt I was told the representative was eating his dinner and he will email the receipt. I said I will wait for him to finish his dinner to get a receipt After 15 minutes of waiting in the lobby the representative showed up and asked for the keys to go look at the truck. He then came back and told me he would email me the receipt despite me waiting for him to eat his dinner so I could get a receipt. Overall the customer service was terrible. Also, if you are going to have people initial what the gas tank level was and what the starting mileage is then the customer should get a copy for their records. None of the paper work I was given had this on it. I think in terms of simplifying the gas return, the truck should start with a full tank rather than having to judge whether your back at the 9/16 of a tank you were told you started out at.
Dean LThe hotel staff were very friendly and the hotel very inviting and John and Darshna were very accommodating. I would highly recommend this place to everyone and anyone that is needing a uhaul. THE BEST ONE IN TOWN.
