I called this place multiple times to let them know we were running an hour later then drop off time. No one answered the phone. The uhaul smelt like there was a toking party going on in it when I got it. It kept telling me that the oil needed to be changed. And the air conditioner didn't work. Then they charge me for another day. For an hour that is absolutely ridiculous I will never use uhaul again.Jessica C.

I'm a regular customer but I'm very disappointed with the service. The people at this store are nasty and rude without real customer service care. They charged me for fuel but they gave me the truck with less than 1/4 of the tank. I returned it with same amount of Gas but they charge me $40 for fuel. I have the picture to prove it. The store blamed uhaul for this charge and they said it was not their problem.Edgar L.
I reserved a vehicle online only to be notified when I arrived that that vehicle wasn't actually on the lot. Big inconvenience and I should have been contacted before my scheduled appointment to be notified that the vehicles wasn't there. Because of this I had to rent a smaller truck and incur more cost on mileage for taking multiple trips. Never again will I use UHAULJoe C.

This was the 2nd location. The first location had a truck the needed brake service and traction control service. This truck had NO DRIVERS SIDE WINDSHIELD WIPERS!! We found this out during a torrential rainstorm on the interstate at 2am forcing us to turn around and travel rural back roads and sleep on a floor of the apartment. So frightening and dangerous! In addition the seatbelt warning kept dinging the entire rental even though we wore seatbelts and the passenger visor was broken and hung in the window. My daughter and I were shaking and didn't know if we'd even make it back. I'm not sure if I'd rent again and honestly any rental fee was too much for this truck.Gina F.

First I was told that there was no rental for me. Then come to find out it was in the name of Stephen Davis(my brother). Then when I returned I stood there for an hour waiting to be cashed out and was told I owed double that I should have been. All other customers coming into the store were waited on before me as I just stood there. Finally I said I needed to leave and it took him another 15 mins to try and talk to someone about why I was charged too much and finally I was â€œall setâ€ to leave.STEPHEN D.

Maybe you could be a little more transparent about the price and maybe rent the truck with a full tank of gas and require whoever uses it to return it with a full tank of gas my truck had less than a quarter tank of gas in it so my first stop had to be the gas station other than that the location was fine and the store owners were very accommodating with me so much so that this was the 2nd time I used this location so they're definitely doing a great job representing uhaulSHAUN O.
The truck we were given had almost no fuel and had a maintenance light on the dashboard. It was also dirty, full of trash and smelled of marijuana upon pickup. When we asked the dealer if we could use one of the other 8 trucks in the lot he refused and was extremely rude. They also added damage coverage to my rental without my consent and forged my signature on the equipment contract that they never provided to me to review. Would not recommend.Ciaran I.

The neighborhood dealer knew I had an 11:00 AM reservation, yet when I arrived the truck was not driveable because the windshield and side mirrors had a wall of ice covering them. It took me almost an hour having to run the defroster burning up gas and using my own deicer and scraper to make it safe to drive. When I got to location I expected the dealer would have done this so I could have just taken the keys and drove off. No, I wouldn't recommend this location to a friend in the winter, maybe in the spring, summer or fall but because of the non-maintenance, my initial experience was very frustrating.DOUGLAS B.

Fix your App. Doesn't recognize PR or VI as states in the United States. Has Canada Provinces, but not USA territories. Makes no sense. Caused the system to hang and not process the pickup! PEOPLE FROM PR AND VI HAVE "REAL IDS" RECOGNIZED BY TSA AND IN THE NATIONAL DRIVERS REGISTRY. Had to obtain service inside the store.Pat Z.

There were 3-4 locations closer to my home than this one. Bring the vehicle where I need it. Make it clear I needed to fill out the form re state of the truck before leaving. Clean out the vehicle. You shall have a mailbox 📫 that is digital so that customer can get the key even after 11pm when the store closes. Website says store closes at 11:30pm but they close at 11pm but otherwise excellent service.Vivian M.

A great place to rent the U-Haul truck. The gentleman behind the counter was polite and easy to get along with, he did what was needed to do, I signed and I was in my way..Gabriel D.
There are problems with this truck. I gave a list of 10 things I found wrong and non functional to the employee at brown Rd, SC. This was the most uncomfortable, awful, painful rental I've ever had !!!! This was a 2019 truck with no power windows, no tilt steering, cruise control, e.t.c. I couldn't see instrument panel, extremely tight cab, I'm only 5'2" and didn't have enough room in front seat, side mirrors wouldn't move at all for me, back storage door was extremely hard for me to open, squeaked and had to oil it, green gauge wacko, would tac out when driving same speed on flat road, window cranks were nearly impossible to get windows up and down, especially passenger window, I have never had such a horrible experience with a rental till now !!!!! Why does a 2019 have limitations of a 1970's vehicle, this is crazy. Especially driving it 1000 miles, I'm 100% handicapped, ill and 70 pounds and you give me this vehicle to go long distance ??? We had reserved a different dolly and truck size at a different pick up location, but we had to go here instead due to limited truck availability. This location did not have the type of dolly we reserved. The truck was well maintained but not clean--there was dried liquid in the cup holders and a dried out french fry on the floor.Miriam H.

I was advised at this location they did not take back cargo vans. The person at the desk called U-Haul directly and they did take it. My email told me to take it to this location. The person at the desk (Convenience Store) was not wearing a mask and there was no Plexiglas installed.Mark M.
The guy working was very friendly and helpful. But it took about 40 minutes for me to get the truck. There was a pad lock on the back of the truck which had the key in it and he couldn't unlock it. I put gas in the truck to the level that I received it at but was still charged for gas. Very disappointed as I definitely left the gas tank at the same level. Not sure if I'll ever use U-Haul again!!!!!!John M.
This is a tobacco shop and the clerk was by himself. After turning the truck in, we had to wait on him to check a number of customers out before he could stop outside to check the truck. He marked it 1/16 of a tank too low on gas and charged us for 4 gallons of gas. He did not mention this to us; I only found out about it from the receiptb that was emailed.Mark R.

Used condoms were scattered all over the back of the vehicle. It was disgusting. I had to clean up the mess. When I told the man after dropping it off, he brushed it off saying that's uhaul problem. He didn't seem to care at all. When I told him, he said no deals whatsoever. I wasn't looking for a deal. Just let him know about it. I will never rent a uhaul from there ever again. I feel he has a prostitute ring going on in his uhaul trucks.Damian A.
