The system you use for online pickup is really poor. It took me 45min to start my journey, between website, calling customer service and taking pictures. There should be a more straightforward way to do this, or simply leave it with the store to do it.

Your app is horrible and location services doesn’t work properly. The lock boxes to get the keys barely open and were jammed. The website kept shutting down while trying to get and to return the vehicle. The car is fine, it’s the self check in and out experience that was horrible. It was also hard to find the gas tank to fill it, a note on where it is would be helpful.

The only reason I would use this uhaul vendor again is because its right next to my house. Do not recommend unless you plan to self check in and not directly interact with the deer lake market employee.

THOMAS DWhen I arrived at the location to pick up the cargo van, I thought there was no vehicle available as the white van was unmarked. I called the customer service and they were very helpful. I was so relieved to find out the van was ready. The uhaul 24/7 pick up using mobile phone is very convenient and straightforward to follow directions. If I need a cargo van in the future, I will not hesitate to book at this location again.

Roshni VWe initially made a reservation to pick up a 10" truck PLUS two dollies. However, upon arrival, we encountered a frustrating situation. Despite our reservation, we were unable to obtain the keys, and ended up waiting on hold with customer service for over 30 minutes. After this lengthy wait, we were informed that there was no one available to provide us with the keys. So, basically, making a reservation was useless and a waste of time. The customer service representative we spoke to was polite and offered to make another reservation at a different location if anything was available. While she was able to secure an alternative vehicle for us, it was smaller and lacked the dollies we had originally requested. As a result of this, not only did we have to travel to a different location despite already being at the original one, but we also encountered difficulties fitting all our belongings into the smaller truck. Additionally, because we had no dollies, we had a very hard time manually carrying everything ourselves. Overall, this experience was extremely disappointing and has left us with a negative impression of U-Haul. Most likely will never be using UHAUL again. Horrible experience.
Jenifer GI had to wait 40-45 minutes to pick up the van. The person in charge said the system is down. I tried to check in online but it said call a number. I called them but they put me on hold for 15 minutes. I had to wait 40-45 minutes to pick up a reserved van. Also, in my reservation, I didn’t choose 16 dollar collision insurance but I realized that the person in this store charged me for that. Bad experience! I will never use your service.
Amin AThe key was stuck for half an hour with the place where they stored. It would be more convenient for customer if they would help us unlocked it and hand it to us instead of us unlocking it.
Jamil dThere are several issues which do not pertain particularly to this location. One is that only vans are available. It would be nice if a small cube truck was available. The second is the very lousy software that uHaul uses - the location was unable to get it to work (and I have had problems too) when I returned the vehicle. That's a big Zero out of five for you. Lastly the fuel in the vehicle. I was told the vehicle was full, and I refilled it right up just before I returned it. But in reality it was not full - perhaps down between 1/8 and 1/16 on the gauge - an undetermined amount as who knows how accurate the gauge is. This should have been detected and the previous customer criticized - why nickel and dime the next customer?

Dinesh DIt took me 30 minutes to pick up my van because the verification process didn't work properly due to the night conditions. It's highly frustrating and unpleasant. Same with the drop off process. Pictures are both accepted or the app crashes. I lost a lot of paid time just for verification which is not fair from the customer's point of view. At least make the start time starts after I enter the vehicle.

Tuan Noutside and inside Van was dirty and I got an extra $5 overcharge for gas, but the system was wrong, the local agent called the manager to verify the mistake, but the manager did not resolve the problem and ask me the customer to call the company customer service to do the adjustment, that's too bad.
