Was not allowed to drop off the trailer at my preferred location. The Lady at Lone Star U haul in Oakland Md. would not let me drop off my rental with out an additional charge of 98 dollars on a 26 dollar rental.When I asked to use her phone at the office to call the u haul place that I picked up the trailer from she refused me.When I asked her for her name she told me she didn`t have to tell me that.I ended up having to drive the trailer back to the original place that I rented it from. An additional 30 mile round trip. She knew that and didn`t care.Do not understand why I incurred her wrath, very disappointed at the lack of empathy and customer service.

This was my first time renting from U-Haul. It was a very easy, hassle free experience at The Deerwood Service Center. Ron was fantastic and very friendly. I'm not sure what the lady's name was when I returned the truck, but she was very friendly as well. I would absolutely go to them again and recommend them.

Great place! Our drop off was just before closing and with a training employee but the owner had no problem quickly coming in to assist and made sure we were happy with the process and service. Awesome - will give them our business every chance we can.

I would not recommend Uhaul in general to anyone. I will let everyone know exactly how we were treated and exactly how we were (double)overcharged. Uhaul should train their dealers better. And Uhaul abused the fact that we had a card number on file with them by charging over $1300 to our card then telling us a credit will be coming in 3-5 days. BE AWARE that once they have your card number they don't hesitate the continually charge until they have what they want and not what was agreed upon. It was total abuse by a company with our credit card number.

Really great service by Mr. Ron Freeman and his employee. Due to flooding, we had to pick up rental later than expected, but this was not an issue. Everyone was so friendly, even fellow customers at Ron's business. I really appreciate the way I was treated at this location. Thank you!

Aurora was wonderful. However, the communication from the Uhaul center in Charleston was horrible. We were contacted the evening before we were set to move and told that there were no Uhaul trucks in our area. The man we spoke to, Rusty, told us that our only option was to travel an hour away to Aurora to pick one up. We panicked because we already had movers scheduled to come early in the morning, so Rusty very rudely told us "well they open at 4 AM." What Rusty didn't know was that we have a little baby with severe colic and food allergies that does not handle being woken up early to take a 2 hour round trip drive very well. We didn't have much of a choice, so we accepted the offer. Rusty added 75 miles to our total mileage, giving us a total of 105 miles, which seems odd because we were never aware we only had 30 miles to begin with. Why would Uhaul only include 30 free miles with a trip that at that time was not considered "round trip?" We changed our drop off location from Keyser to Aurora because it is the same distance from our final destination and it would reduce the price. Somehow we still went over in mileage by 41.3 miles even though we went straight to our destination and then straight back to Aurora, only veering from the path to get gas. Our experience with Uhaul was ridiculously awful. It seems like there is some major disorganization in the business. Our interactions with the store in Aurora and the movers that we hired through the Uhaul site are the only exceptions to this.
