It was a nightmare renting and dropping off. I received contradicting information about my rental and spent over 2 hours picking up. Not happy at all.

The agent was rude and when he was reprimanded he refuse to give us a receipt then I was told by uhaul that there were debris in a vehicle that was power washed. His attitude was very demeaning he set us up by adding unnecessary charges and now I have to prove I’m telling the truth. Other customers says that’s how he behaves.
JULIAN FGet a new owner that knows what customer service is my reservation was changed from 7:00 am to 8:00 am I called and asked why because I was set up to do a self pick up he said we’re not set up for that I showed up a 7:40 am and stood in the showroom until just after 8:00 am while the owner shuffled vehicles around outside I was never greeted by anyone that said sorry we will be with you shortly. Keep in mind their hours are 7:30 am to 12 :00 pm on Saturday let’s fast forward to drop off which I showed up at 11:50 am and the owner was once again shuffling equipment around I got his attention and showed him the keys which hs response to was arrogant drop them in the orange box Also I was told to return the truck with a 1/2 tank of gas which it wasn’t when I picked up it was just a hair under on the gauge but nonetheless it wasn’t at 1/2 I had a terrible experience and will never rent U-Haul again

GEORGE KThis was my first time renting a U-Haul and the experience was great! Easy pickup (Wilmington) and drop-off (Philly). The truck was clean, the gas tank was half full as promised, and the staff at both locations I used were efficient. No hidden fees, all was as promised. I highly recommend to anyone looking to rent a U-Haul.

BRETT WThe staff at this location were very responsive and helpful. Unfortunately my furniture was not packed well by my moving help at my original location resulting in severe damage as furniture pieces rubbed against each other in transit (very few of the packing blankets were used). I also believe that my moving help in Delaware stole the U-Haul packing blankets that were in the boxes. The communication with my movers was awful and they denied causing additional damage to my furniture when I literally heard the scraping sounds. I felt pressured to give the payment code before I knew the boxes and blankets were returned. I don't think I can recommend the U-box + Moving Help services to anyone. I will not be using them again. I feel violated on so many levels of this experience.
ABBEY HIt was a nice experience with u-haul staff from the time we started inquiring the u-box service in U-haul at 10th Ave in Great Falls, MT to having it delivered to our final destination here in our rented townhome in Delaware. U-haul kept us informed via e-mail, text, and calls. Our u-box arrived on time and our things intact and all accounted for.

GARY MGreat business but the tow dolly I received had a broken driver side light ( the wires were shredded) and the ratchet straps were stuck to the point that I had to use a car and chain to loosen them. I also had to have the light re-wired to be able to make my trip legally.

Daniel FCellular phone service extermely limited - using U-haul app. slow. Business could provide credentials for wi-fi quest usage. Had to leave area for service and return multiple times during each stage of application self dispatching. Dash indicated veh needed service for oil - fearful would break down. veh smelled like cigarettes and dirty.

RAYMOND HUnfortunately I didn’t have good internet service in this area and had trouble confirming pick up. We called uhaul and the customer service rep was excellent and helped tremendously! She even had trouble on her end and had to keep entering and refreshing info but eventually we were able to leave with our truck ! 5 STARS!!

Charles WVery pleasant pickup and drop off. I used the mobile app, and was extremely impressed. Pickup took about two minutes and drop off was less than 30 seconds.

PETER SMy location was moved from a location that I specifically chose because it was going to be open to this location which was closed. Since this location was closed I had to call UHaul to get them to change my pick up to the remote option. This location was on a dark street and I was concerned that I would not have a good enough wireless signal to be able to get the truck, due to poor reception in this area. The remote pick up process was long, we were not able to take the truck until an hour after our reservation was scheduled for which put us behind schedule. Very disappointing experience!

BERNADETTE BVery frustrating. I tried to return on a Sunday when the location is closed. I could not return it online because the site couldn’t verify my location. I tried calling the 1-800 number but was on hold for 30 minutes and never got to talk to anyone. I ended up just leaving the trailer on the street because the yard gates were locked and hoping it would be OK. Very frustrating!

GEORGE KThe operative at the desk was rude, abusive, hostile, and he refused to answer basic questions about trailer setup and operation. I have never experienced a more antagonistic retail employee. He seemed unaware of basic rules of respectful human interaction. It was like being in a room with someone who thought speaking to me was beneath him. I was seriously disheartened to find him wearing a UHaul uniform, as I'd always considered their customer service to be first class. I found the whole experience to be horrible. I have never seen a grown man behave worse.

Barry KThe agent at this location is very ignorant and hard to deal with. He will argue with you about everything instead of getting on his knees and looking at the rating sticker on my Uhaul receiver also installed by Uhaul. That all 1.25” receivers are created equal and rated at 1500lb regardless of the sticker saying it’s rated for 3500lb. Then in the middle of taking care of my reservation he takes off to take care of his personal tool rental customer rather than finishing up with his Uhaul customer first. He does not know what he’s doing he is unwilling to look at the stickers on the receiver hitch he thinks he knows better than the manufacturer of the Uhaul receivers no matter what the sticker on the U-Haul receiver says it’s rated for I rent from U-Haul 2 to 3 times a week and this is the first time I’ve ever just wanted to walk out without the trailer and would have if I didn’t already have everybody lined up for making the move. I would not recommend this location for anything.
