The employ that we did transaction with was rude, unfriendly and gave us important information, we were told about the mileage and end paying more than we anticipated. He never gave us the military discount despite him being told and seeing the card!

Had a bad experience with Delaware equipment rental. Picked up a U-Haul and the individual who was checking me in was rude and made the rental process difficult. I would recommend finding somewhere else to rent from.

Larry AVery disappointing experience. Today we rented a trailer from this U-Haul location and received extremely poor customer service. The employee refused to properly assist us because our English is not perfect. This is unacceptable behavior for a customer-facing role, especially in a company that serves a very diverse community. Whether this location is a franchise or not, this employee clearly does not meet basic customer service standards. He was rude, unprofessional, and unwilling to help, which reflects very poorly on the U-Haul brand as a whole. We will never return to this location and will not recommend it to anyone. We strongly ask U-Haul management to review this location, investigate the employee’s behavior, and take appropriate action, including reviewing his authorization to represent the company. U-Haul deserves better representatives.
