When I arrived a man outside said he was going to call the boss. He made a call then handed me the phone and the person on the other end ask me a couple of questions then said he would call back. Short story is that I received 6 emails, identical emails, for my contract. The man who was outside got me the keys to the truck and showed it to me outside. Never walked the truck for damage, nothing. Just said return it with the same amount of gas as was in it. There is a lot of room for improvementJeff M.

The customer service agent was not very knowledgeable. It took forever because he was on the phone feeding someone all the information. It appeared that he didn't have a computer and the person he was talking to was processing everything. On top of that this was not the location I rented from online. But when I got to the online location I rented from he had no equipment. He looked it up for me and told me where U-Haul had moved my rental to. Which was extremely inconvenient as it was out of my way the opposite direction and added additional unnecessary miles to my rental. Overall it was NOT a pleasant experienceRon C.

The front desk lady was very unaccepting. She kept questioning what we did. At a point was even asking if we were taking pictures of the store. The fee was extrememly high. When we made the reservation we did not sign up for coverage because we had our own coverage but when we got the bill, they deducted every single fee in the book from our card only because they had access to it. This location is a gas station in the middle of nowhere that seem to have a bunch of crack heads hanging out and playing arcade games there. The person in charge gave me keys to a truck but electronically signed me out for a different truck so all my online check in criteria was different and couldn't proceed. The guy he had helping get the truck and tow dolly, had me back up into an incorrect dolly and hitch up my car before the person in charge said I needed to update my reservation if I was going to take a different tow. I explained to him I was just following his coworkers instructions and we then had to unhitch my car, the dolly and load up all over again on another dolly. All this mess took about 45 to an hour to finally get the truck.Daniel L.
This was the worst customer experience that I've ever had. I had to drive 100 miles round trip to pick-up the trailer that I reserved 2.5 weeks earlier. (It was supposed to be available 12 miles from my home.) The pick up location was the nastiest c-store I've ever been in, with addicts coming in and out for the 1.5 hours that I was there trying to pick up the trailer. The employee on site had no idea how to process the U-Haul transaction, and I hooked everything up myself. I had to debate with the store owner over the course of multiple calls, before being allowed to take the trailer. What should have been a 10 minute process, took over an hour-and-a half. I called U-Haul several times, hoping to get some help; I was continually put on hold and transferred. I ultimately connected with the Area Mgr (Frank), and was told that he doesn't just sit by his phone all day, and that he wasn't responsible for the condition of the pick-up location. He offered to extend a $50 discount for the inconvenience, and to provide me with his Mgr's phone number. I never received the number or the $50. Frank was condescending and rude. Not once did anyone at U-Haul apologize for the inconvenience or horrible experience that they caused. I expected a safe, clean pick-up location, and I got a halfway house who's primary revenue appeared to be glass bongs, brass knuckles, knives and in-store gambling machines. This location should have it's service contract revoked. The Reservation, Customer Support and Area Mgmt team should be fired.Patrick B.

Easy drop off, but confusing. A convenient Store in the front and a building with a lot of doors, a few yards away with the same address, however we were able to drop the trailer. No one came out to help and it was just let pit in the open. No lock or secure!Taji S.

This is not a plaza or wireless store. It is a coventent store and gambling center. The clerk was unorganized. There was a dog (german shepard) running the store so my wife had to leave the store as she is extremely scared of big dogs.. Right beside the regester was paraphernalia for drug use (pipes, cooper mess wiring, torches) and kits to clean your urine. The store was a mess and the restroom was dirty. They had no outside wifi so the outside check out and in process took longer than needed.Kenneth J.
The owner was over an hour late getting to the store and told us there was a death in the family. But the homeless groundskeeper for the property living out of his broken down car at the front if the business told us the owner is always late. There was no way to contact them other than getting information from this homeless guy. It was a very concerning experience giving our license information to these people!!! The low rating is for uhaul services overall. I had initially scheduled for a different location early in the morning. Once I got there I called and was notified that it was no longer available and had to go to a different location which didn't open until 3 hours later. Once there it was back and forth conversation with the clerk and someone she was on the phone with. It took about 30 minutes to get the keys for the uhaul which I had already pre-registered for. Cut into my slotted time even though I did not receive it on time and was still expected to return at the 4 hour mark from when scheduled. The return process is simple but I am currently being charged for something I'm in aware of. I have not received and email or call from them telling my what I'm being charged for. I also would like to change my payment method to my company card but that is hard if the the place doesn't pick up their phone.Thomas N.

The truck was filthy & we were worried we would be charged so my husband had to clean it himself. Then when we returned the truck in New Braunfels they told us Delco location gave us the wrong size truck! We rented & paid for a 20' truck but was given a 15' truck. Also truck was on empty, we barely made it to a gas station & filled it to half full. Returned it with 1/4 tank full of gas. Not sure if we can get a reimbursement for all of this but we will definitely not be renting from Delco location ever again & maybe not even from the UHaul company. Worst experience EVER!Evan R.

When i got there to pick up the truck i went inside the building and a man told me to talk to the guy in the blue car. I went over there and woke up the guy sleeping in the blue car and he gets out and tells me to hold on while he goes behind his car and takes a piss. He then goes and gets keys and hands them to me. No hand washing or even a squirt of antibacterial. I went to return truck and the same guy was there so I actually pulled back out and left. I guess the guy lives there because I drove by several times to return truck but he was there everytime. I kept truck an extra week just because I didnt want to deal with this disgusting guy.Chris L.

Took 1.5 hours to do a turn in that should e taken 20 minutes tops due to poor information from U-Haul.com. No fault of the business at drop off location. Apon my reservation was at 2 pm I didn't receive my rental till 330 pm . When I arrived the associate took me to a car on the side of the building where a homeless man appeared to exit the Vehicle that he was sleeping in the pee smell was awful I stood outside for 1.5 hours with a 2 year old in prefer to get this rental he then used his phone to call his â€œsupervisor â€œ Which wasn't at the facility and then proceeded to go into my contract . Today upon arrival the man in the same car sleeping and smelling of lee with the same clothes on from Sunday exited the vehicle to help us with our order it took about 35-40 mins this was a awful process and wouldn't recommend to anyoneBrittany P.

When a Loyal Customer such as myself who is a frequent renter I can not find any reasonable reason why I'm expected to travel to Round Rock Tx In mid day traffic on a Sunday afternoon after 3:30 pm. Pardon me for saying that I was waiting for a phone call from a knowledgeable sales person since I arrived at 2:30 pm I was not trying to be a jerk or seem like I was in a big hurry..the store that I cannot say a bad word about prior to my arrival SUNDAY honestly was gonna expect me to go to Round Rock Tx In afternoon traffic and load a vehicle and then travel to the mechanic who resides in Rockdale Texas and promptly returning back to the convenient store at 8pm. After I was denied the first time I'm still trying to get my mind around the fact that I pulled up in a 2019 Dodge Diesel Cummings and the last thing I was thinking about was being told I don't have a compatible truck I should have just called it quits for the unbelievable statement.. I just had to pay twice as much for a full size trailer versus the dolly that I was not trying to get in the first place. I say that to say this... I returned the trailer to the store today at 11:45 am to a closed building and a employee who is always in a security roll with the store for most of my visits was there to inform me that I was gonna get charged for another day.. I will pay the 20 dollars for the peace and I will pay Uhaul directly for all of my future transactions. I just wanted to be told that I was on a 5 hour â€œtripâ€ prior to my credit card being placed in fraudulent activity status which I will never be grateful enough for that peace of mind and protection. I was able to get my co worker to place the order on his credit card and the card was accepted..All I had to do was just grab my cash and pay him for a wonderful gesture, just to come to my last straw...The ATM WAS OUT OF ORDER FOR THE DAY... I feel bad that I cannot stop them from charging my friends card if they choose to do so... I will never be in a third party situation again because I'm coming to you guys personally! The lady didn't seem to know what to do. She got on the phone to someone else and they couldn't get my order complete and had to call John, a UHaul rep to come to the store to get my order done. This came after our original order at Bastrop Feed and Supply to pick up the truck was messed up because the previous renter hadn't brought the truck back. Our 8 a.m. pickup didn't occur until after 9:30. Then when I brought the truck back and went to put gas in it, the lady at Delco told me I had to put premium gas in it which I had never heard of before which I feel was just so her store would make more money as their gas prices are higher than other places. It would have been nice if someone had called the night before and tried to arrange another place for us to pick up the truck instead of waiting till we got there that morning.Lisa D.

I went online to reserve and make it easy to pick up. We got there and they had to call someone, we had to verify everything over the phone. It took about an hour or more for the entire process. I went during my lunch hour thinking i had done everything so it would be fast, i came back 30 min late from lunch. The truck was almost on empty, it barely made it to my house which is less than 8 miles away.charlotte W.
