Did not have the vehicle on site we’d rented through the online system. Owner put an unauthorized amount through on my card. Charged for gas even though we’d refuelled to same amount it had. Had to deal with dispute resolution. Not fully resolved. Avoid this location.

Wait 2hrs for the guy , didn’t answer his phone Call U-Haul for another truck . Start the truck 2 min after starting the truck system overheat and Batterie logo pop up , the brake was jam and the wheel was not turning call U-Haul again, they finally found me a truck at hull boul Jean Proulx . With all this bullshit I was d’opposés to have my truck at 4h30 pm and I received the truck at 8pm This owner should not rent équipement that is not working correctly. all this shit for his 20% quote

Hi, I am from Quebec City and I made a reservation in Gatineau one week before the pickup date. The day before the pickup, I was given a location 50 km away from the initial one, with the explanation that no trucks were available. They offered me 50 km free as compensation. On the day of the pickup, I couldn't find the truck, and the second location was more than 55 km away, resulting in a delay of over 2 hours and a drive of more than 100 km to finally get the truck. The second location was closed, and my experience with customer service over the phone was poor. Additionally, the truck was not fully fueled. When I tried to return the truck, your website was not working, preventing me from properly processing the return through my account. This morning, I received the receipt, but I didn’t get the discount that was promised, and I was charged extra for fuel, even though I have photos showing the fuel levels before and after. I kindly ask you to review the total amount charged for the truck rental. Thank you.

It was my 1st time renting a such a location where the rental is done by phone. The agent that helped me was not friendly at all. Very rude and not helpful. He was irritated at the fact time that I was asking questions to try and understand how the system worked. It’s been a week that I rented and he still hasn’t fixed my receipt! I was overcharged, please fix this before I make a complaint with my bank. L’agence qui m’as aidé n’était pas trop jovial et il s’irritait à tous moment puisque je lui poser des questions. C’était ma première fois de faire une commande par téléphone et donc j’étais un peu confuse. Ça fait déjà 1 semaine, il n’as pas encore fixer ma facture! Il n’as surchargé, faite les corrections vite avant que j’aille me plaindre à ma banque

Make sure to have reel people to be able to serve your customers My reservation was made and after a lots of delays waiting on the phone with the customer service I finally got my truck, also when I returned the same problem the application on the phone was always bugging not able to return so I had to call back the service to finalize the return it took 45 minutes Not a nice experience with this location 👎

There was a lot of confusion with the employees at Delta. They did not know that they rented uhauls despite have two trucks in the lot. I had to call a service rep and hand the phone over to the delta employee.

I have been advised at my arrival at 411 St-Renee E Gatineau this UHaul service point was closed on the weekend, so no representative from UHaul was present to inspect with me the equipment I dropped there on June 15th. lights harness connector - corroded - ground pin broke when I unplugged it, pins for flashers and parking lights curved. (All lights was functional when I picked the trailer at Saint-Liboire, but the ground pin broke when I un-plugged it at Gatineau.

J'avais téléphoné plus de 4 fois sans réponse de la part de la personne ressource. Ceux qui répondaient, les caissiers du dépanneur, n'étaient au courant de rien. De plus, l'espace pour le répondeur n'était pas fonctionnel. De plus, l'ouverture était supposé être 10 hre Alors qu'à 10.20hre personne de responsable n'était encore sur les lieux pour une signature de contrat. Laxisme de la part de ce représentant UHAUL. Plusieurs problématiques rencontrées. D'abord, j'ai été en mesure d'accéder au processus de prise en charge de mon véhicule qu'après l'heure de location prévue. Ensuite, le code pour le cadenas contenant la clé ne fonctionnait pas. Résultat: plus de 2h d'attente sur place afin de récupérer le véhicule (je réussis à quitter les lieux vers 10h45 alors que je suis arrivé d'avance à 8h30 pour location à 9h00 puisqu'il était indiqué dans les instructions que le véhicule serait prêt 1h00 à l'avance et de me présenter au moins 10min d'avance pour compléter le processus de prise en charge). Le propriétaire de l'emplacement est finalement arrivé et a été en mesure d'ouvrir les 3 boîtes à clé. Celle de mon véhicule loué se trouvait alors dans la mauvaise case (pour laquelle le code reçu ne fonctionnait pas non plus). Ceci s'est déroulé après avoir été transféré 5 fois au téléphone avec U-Haul sans que personne ne puisse m'aider de quelconque façon. Une fois l'accès à mon véhicule, je vois qu'il manque 1 diable pour lequel j'ai payé ainsi que les 2 douzaines de couvertures de déménagement pour lesquelles j'ai payé également. Le niveau de carburant se trouvait entre le quart et la moitié, ne semblant pas me permettre d'effectuer les distances initialement prévues dans ma location. Pour le retour, l'application ne me permet pas de compléter toutes étapes telles qu'indiquées dans le vidéo d'instructions. Je reçois plus tard dans la journée une facture comprenant des frais pour une journée supplémentaire (alors que j'ai retourné le véhicule avant l'heure requise), pour couverture ainsi qu'un ajustement de kilométrage. Je compte demander un remboursement pour le temps perdu sur place ainsi que les équipements loués et payés qui ne se trouvait pas dans le véhicule. Les frais de journée supplémentaire et de couverture me semblent également injustifiés. Le principe de location est intéressant à la base, mais en pratique cela a été très désagréable et problématique. C'était ma première et probablement dernière expérience de location avec U-Haul.

the web check in was a big pain and way too long. then the dolly i rended was not available and i never got a refond for that. there was damage to the vehicle and the web page did not let me put it in and i informed u-haul by phone and email and no one reassured me i would not be charged for the existing vehicle damage

It was many papers in the car and the car was not clean, I cleaned it by myself I returned my car and I found they added 229 km plus even though I didn't do this Km, I contacted UHall with a reference number to solve this problem My reference ID is 4511597 iI am waiting for the correction The person promised me to solve this issue or I will make a complain

The service was very good and knowledgeable. It would be nice if there would be a welcoming desk or some indication of were or who to see for rental. Because just some random person working off a laptop over filling desk behind the store counter isn't really professional.

Vraiment deçu de ma premiere experience avec U-Haul! On m'a chargé 119$ de frais pour aucune raison et maintenant je dois courir après mon argent. J'ai fait seulement 8 miles avec le camion, je suis allé le chercher a 116234mi et je l'ai ramené a 116242mi. J'ai fait sur de remettre un peu d'essence pour qu'il soit au 1/4 et on me charge quand même 30$+63.90$ de frais d'essence. On ma chargé 25$ de frais de nettoyage mais les choses qui était dedans était la quand je suis venu le chercher. J'ai payé pour 25 miles et j'en ai seulement fait 8 mais il ne m'ont pas rembourser. J'aimerais qu'un gerant me rappelle le plus rapidement possible au 819-592-0275
