It is trusting that when booking my U-Haul I was told I would pick up the U-haul within a 30 mile radius. Instead I had to pick it up 69 miles away. I had everything booked with loaders and unloading. To pick up there I would get an extra day and extra 80 miles. Which is a joke dues to the amount of gas’s that extra 69 miles cost me to fill up. I didn’t need an extra day or the extra miles (passed picking up). It would have been nice to have a discount instead giving perks that were not needed. And on another note if I would have kept it till Monday at 7pm. It could not be booked out. I had someone calling me seeing my drop off estimation confirmation. Which allowed them to book someone with the truck I had returned Sunday night booked for Monday morning. I ended up making them money. Because as of Friday the closest U-haul was Denison they couldn’t even find one in the Des Moines area. So I actually made U-haul more money but yet I was screwed with extra gas money and the up charge for it being a weekend. I know this because I originally thought I was going to need it a Wednesday into a Friday and it was cheaper. Just annoyed with the process when there isn’t one within the 30 mile radius.

I checked in on the app but had to repeat everything when I checked in at the counter making me waste twice the time. Next I called to ask for help in lifting the trailer off the ground on to my hitch and was told they only rent the trailer and can’t assist me with that. Also I had reservations for a dolly and furniture dolly but was told they didn’t have any. I was very disappointed and unhappy customer!
Kyler ZTheir was dirty spoons in the dash, it was the hottest day of the year and the air conditioner didn't work. Their was almost a quarter tank of gas and I had an hour and half to 2 hour ride I ended up returning it with half a tank of gas. I live in newton and was moving my daughter from Carroll. WE have a uhaul place in newton iowa but it wouldn't let me return it it there I had to waste more gas to get someone to follow me to grinnell iowa and bring me home- I dont understand why I couldn't return it in our town.

GARETH TThe truck had a little trash behind the front seat when we picked it up. We had ordered 12 packing blankets, but there were only 6 in the bag when we opened it up. Other than that, we were happy with everything.
