I would need the have someone to call me back. I rented a 20’ box truck from a U haul dealer. Error was made from the Dealer and U Haul is charging me for it! Not acceptable will here from me or a lawyer if not refounded Let me explained how: I live in quebec, we speak french over here and the dealer in quebec didn’t even speak french or english. took me a minute or two to understand that he didnt speak french. I spoke english for him to understand me better. I speak good english.The guy that rented to me the box truck was also maybe 102 years old and. This was at 7:50/8:00Am I told him many time that i needed a one way drop of and that i would get the truck back there because i have no vehicule in my possession. So clearly i told him 2/3 more time and he say “yaya i show you blablabla” Later that day when we dropped off the truck at u haul, not in lavaltrie. They say we will arrange something because of the poor management of lavaltrie. Not even 10 minutes later i get a call from U haul, saying that i will have to take the truck back to lavatrie(250km back). I told that i could because i dont have a car there AND i dont even own a car. He told me the ONLY way to work this around is to pay the fee. (6:00/7:00pm). I told him its not my fault that the guy didn’t speak english or anything. Your guy from u haul clientel services told me that i had a contract with u haul. But in reality a contract is something sign and explained. So no i didnt have a contrat with Lavaltrie U Haul i explained him. He then re told me to just pay, but couldn’t tell me how much. We went back and forth on whats a contract and how much we was going to charge me. He then told me i was for sure going to pay and there was no other way the he hanged up on me! So either you will here from me again or maybe you should charge the person in the wrong -> the owner of U Haul of lavaltrie, not me Please call me back 4385044350

Carlos HL’accueil et le service ont été très bons. Simplement être capable de se débrouiller en anglais afin de bien comprendre le propriétaire et que l’échange d’informations soit plus efficace. Très rapide sur place, bon suivi et précis sur les indications de base liées au camion.

Then changed the time again!!! Received the u haul with almost an empty buck so i had to pay another 200$ to fill up the gas

J’étais obligé d’avoir un 2ème chauffeur mais j’étais seul pour le camion j’ai du appeler quelqu’un pour qu’elle se déplace afin de venir au dépanneur et donner ses infos ..

La jeune fille était très sec et m'a accusé de propos raciste parce que je nommais le mr du magasin: le monsieur chinois (car il était asiatique et avait du mal à comprendre le système) J'ai été choquée de me faire accuser de la sorte.
danika cL’alignement n’étais pas fait, pour que le camion se conduise en ligne droite, le volant devant être tourné à 90 degrés. De plus, ici au Québec nous utilisons des km/h et le camion montrais seulement les milles/h donc c’est assez difficile d’avoir quelle vitesse nous roulons.
Jimmy GAs soon as I arrived, I hadn't even gotten out of the truck yet when the owner came to meet me, greet me, and remind me to take a picture of the fuel level and mileage and to come and see him inside. When I went to see him to finish my rental, he did it quickly, his information was clear and he was really nice. He treated me like you treat a good customer. There were several trucks on site, they were all very well parked, which made it easier to return the truck because I knew where to park it, rather than leaving the truck all over the place.

Simon LI reserved my truck a month in advance to a Laval location for 9h30, and the day before when I get the confirmation call they send me to Lavaltrie for 11h30, which is 45 minutes away instead of the 5 mins of the place I thought I had reserved. Nothing was supposedly closer than that destination. They have me a 80km compensation, but the place was 65km away so pretty much no compensation. Overall disastrous experience, delaying my mining day by over 3 hours + all the extra has I had to put back in the truck from having to get it so much further away than I had planned. I would definitely not recommend U-Haul to anyone planning to have a stress free moving day.
