The overall experience was an absolute nightmare. The truck was not returned by the previous customer, and U-Haul customer service informed us that no other trucks were available. This put us in a very difficult situation, as everyone had already arrived to help with the move. We ended up waiting until 4 p.m. for equipment that we had reserved for 9 a.m. Given how unreliable your system appears to be, there should be backup trucks available in case something goes wrong. This is the third time I’ve had to deal with U-Haul, and similar situations have occurred each time. It is extremely frustrating. While your customer service representatives are polite, they are not equipped to properly assist in situations like this due to how disorganized the system seems to be. That said, the dealer himself was very helpful and did everything he could to assist us. I gave a 5-star rating specifically because I do not want this situation to negatively impact him, as he is clearly doing his best while dealing with understandably frustrated customers.

Great experience with Uhaul Lavaltrie and Trois-Rivieres. Pick up was quick and easy, the employee even helped me get out of the parking since it was a tight exit. I recommend that you take pictures of the truck before leaving to avoid any issues ; the inside of the truck was a little dirty when I picked it up, and when I dropped it off they wanted to charge me a cleaning fee, even if I sweep the floor. Luckily, I had pictures proof that I dropped it off the same way I picked it up and customer service was really efficient to reimburse me.

Louis TLors de la prise de possession du camion, j'ignorais qu'il y avait 5-6 pouces de neige et glace sur le toit du camion. Par conséquent, je me suis fait arrêté par une patrouille de police sur l'autoroute 40 ouest en direction de Montréal. Les policier de la sureté du Québec m'ont obligé de sortir de l'autoroute et de dégager la neige et la glace du toit du camion. Résultat: Une perte de 4 heures sur l'horaire de la journée et l'obligation de retourner le lendemain pour terminer l'installation de d'un abri d'hiver pour un important Musée à Montréal. Pour terminer, j'ai reçu une contravention de 593,00$ pour ne pas avoir arrêter à un poste de pesage du camion ?!? Ce que j'ignorais totalement.
