Alexandre CThe rear tire was flat, there was garbage under the passenger seat (McDo), and they charge me an extra eventhough I brought back the truck more than an hour before my deadline and using less km than supposed. They charge me for 30miles, but I’ve made 9km and didn’t even had to upload fuel before returning as it stayed at the same level! I paid for the mistake of someone. Very disapointed, never again.

Charles B1) I had originally reserved a 15 foot truck two weeks in advance. the day prior to the reservation, I got a call saying that a 15 foot was not available and that we would get a 10 foot truck. the operator also said that my driving license was not adequate to drive a 15 foot truck. 2) The reservation was for 8 am. I get to the location and check in. when it was time to get the keys, the attendant told us it was missing and that it was in the neighbouring city (Montreal) in another truck (with another customer). He suggested that we could go pick it up, sharing the customer address which was a breach of privacy. I refused as this was not an alternative I wanted to take responsibility for, as the other location was far, I had no reassurance that when I went there I would get the keys, and I didn't even know who I was dealing with on the other end. The attendant then said that he would call his wife to take his place in the shop, and go himself to pick up the keys for us. I said ok, asked him for a time estimate, and he wouldn't give me any. 3) I then called customer support to figure out what other options I had. The first person said that a representative from uhaul would get in touch with me in the following 24 hours for a discount, but that she would still transfer me to her manager. Her manager said that our alternative was a 26 foot truck that was an hour and a half away. For that reason, they said that they would not offer any discount and it was either we wait for the keys, go to the location 1 hour and a half away for the 26 foot truck, or change our reservation till Monday. Please note that the second option was not possible because according to point 1 earlier, I wasn't able to drive such a big truck, and that I have to work on Monday and so do all the people who were booked waiting for us to help us move. I was only left with option 1 with no possibility of a discount and absolutely no time estimate for when the keys would come. 4) the attendant came back with the keys 3 hours later. despite having on our reservation 1 utility dolly and 1 appliance dolly, we discovered that he had rented out all the appliance dollies already, leaving us with none. I waited with him until he wrote a note on our profile so that we got a refund for the appliance dolly (I still didn't receive that refund) and that we had more time to return the truck the next day (I didn't need that because I already had moving obligations for the next day that did not involve the truck) 5) I am extremely disappointed with the support we got, both from the attendant and the phone personnel. Even if the attendant on the site was not on top of his game, and had misplaced the keys, didn't offer us any time estimate, and had rented out our accessories, I expected better from the managers I got in touch with. I not only didn't get an adequate replacement truck option as an alternative, but also still haven't gotten any form of follow up despite the notes in my file, let alone the discount for the dolly we never got or any other form of discount for the experience we had.
Elia EJe suis même choqué de mon expérience. La location était pour dimanche le 15 juin 2025 à 16h30. J’ai FINALEMENT reçu le camion pour 18h. Mais remplir la documentation, plus l’info pour les changements d’heure de réception et de retour de camion mon permise de partir avec le camion à 18h40 **********C’est à dire plus 1H30 DE RETARD.********* Après avoir fait le plein d’essence juste avant de rapportée le camion au centre de location pour lundi le 16 juin 2025 à 17h30. . J’ai ensuite payé environ 104$ en argent comptant. Je n’ai pas reçu papier ni électronique parce que le caissier n’était pas capable d’imprimer ni ´envoyer la preuve de paiement . Le caissier m’a dit qu’il cancellerait le dépôt de plus de 200$ qui avait été enregistré le 15 juin sur ma carte de crédit. Le 17 juin, j’ai téléphoné le propriétaire pour lui faire part du montant d’argent retenue sur ma carte de crédit. Depuis, il ni a aucun changement. Présentement, nous sommes mercredi le 18 juin 2025, 22h15. Le dépôt est toujours retenu sur ma carte de crédit. Je n’ai toujours pas reçu la preuve que j’ai rapporter le camion au centre et que j’ai payé pour la location. C’est évident que non, je ne référerai pas votre entreprise! Ah oui, le camion était poussiéreux…

Daniel PDid my reservation over the phone and I was totally disappointed by the lack of customer care of the person who runs this business! Lack of professionalism and communication! The day of the move I presented myself to pick up the truck and again same experience as before, zero communication skills, answers very poorly, lack of patience or confidence in his abilities, never again I will go back to that place! On the other side, the truck was super reliable, first time driving one, super easy and very nice experience! Thank you!

ISMAIL MMy return destination was removed from the application and one of your employe called me to inform me about that while I was uploading and I have not received the new dropping off destination via message as requested so I had to call later and they put me on hold for 45 min waiting for an Agent to take my call !

CHARLES-ALEXANDR RIt was not my best experience. I preferred my experience from the Enterprise truck location which I got some weeks ago. I would try again u-haul at some other place to definitely make-up my mind about whether to recommend the company.
