Equipment is no keep it in location, need to drive 1/2 mile to get the truck. At the end of the rental I requested a receipt, the attendant told me that I need to bring the keys back after I park the truck or I need to wait until they go for the keys to get my receipt on my email. At this point is been over 24 hours and still waiting for that. The funny part attendant said this is not a full service location, I never heard that before. He said too that on a full service location they will charge me more for gas, what of course is not true. But to be honest what can expect from a location who's first business is a â€œ gas stationâ€. I think you folks must check more the customer service offered to your customers.Pedro R.

Despite reserving online, we waited 45 minutes past our appointment time for the uhaul. When we asked the gas station attendant, we were told numerous times that the Uhaul rep would be "5 more minutes". This continued until he finally came. When he did come, the service and vehicle were fine. But it threw off the whole moving schedule because of his tardiness.Toni D.

Dear Sir, When I rented the U-Haul Cargo van I had expressed a problem I was very disappointed with. When I returned the van the next day I told the U-Haul representative that the Driver seat had a very strong urine smell . Due to our time constraint and everything lined up for our arrival in Cambridge, Mass at 3:00 -3:30 I was unable to wait around or change the van out. I do not know why this was overlooked but really left us not happy with out U-Haul rental experience. My pants carried the urine odor and I was embarrassed . Uhaul was not accommodating after there was an emergency. I was told that it was going to only be $29 and was charged $59. Beware of the hidden charges with UHauljames H.
Right from the start the service was not good. We were treated very coldly. We thought at first that he was putting the credit card through the second time when he asked for the card. When asked to sign the papers he seemed irritated that we asked questions about it. When we brought the van back he was very terse with us. It was not a pleasant experience, If he was not the only one we could work with on that short notice we would not have worked with him.Tom A.
When a time is scheduled for pick up, make sure your rep is there on time, not almost an hr later. The quality of the trailer was poor at best. The lights wouldn't shut off,ever! Every time we stopped we had to unplug the brake/lights IT LEAKED! The door was very difficult at best to open. We drove that piece of crap over 3100 miles and had nothing but grief with it. This was a very, very unpleasant experience from the get go. Not happy and even more not happy that we were only given a 50.00 rebate on an over 1200.00 bill. Thank goodness for my husbands Veteran's discount. Which you should double after what we went through! U-Haul has a monopoly on the trailer rental business. I wish Budget, Ryder, Hertz or somebody would get in the game and put you out of business. Or at the very least give you competition so you have to clean up your act! I'd be embarrassed if I ran a company the way you do. However, you just don't care. Because you don't have to...regina R.

This was the worst customer experience I think I have ever had. The equipment was faulty causing me major delays and additional miles. when I was unable to open the door to remove the trash in the back from my move I got a call from manager to come remove it when they got it opened. I explained I could not get there until the evening and got a lot of attitude about they could not rent truck until then. I paid more than I should have, forced to use broken equipment and now have to make an extra 90 minute drive and load my new car with garbage and without so much as an apology. Never again.Derek J.
While the location was great and the people were friendly, it took almost forever to get the truck. Our pickup time was for 6pm, but because of problems with the Internet or uhaul computer site at the location, it took forever to get the truck. We didn't get the truck until 6:27pm. We arrived at 5:45pm to get the paperwork done ahead of time, but that didn't help us at all. Set our schedule back a bit.Manuel R B.

Make sure inside of rental is clean. Mine was full of pet hair and the driver's side window had dog nose prints all over it. In all fairness the location I rented from didn't have my size rental, it came from another location. The gentleman at my location was very pleasant and accommodating. The owner/employee at the Mobile was nice, friendly, and efficient. However, the van smelled funny, and it's not located on the premises...you need to drive down the road. For these reasons, I would likely use a U-Haul in the next town over if I needed one again.Kevin G.
Having to go to the Mobil station to pick up dollies, pads, etc. as well as fill out paperwork and then having to go somewhere else to actually pick up the truck is very inconvenient and confusing. Returning was the same situation. If you're going to offer U-Haul rental services, you should have one than one staff worker for the gas station as I had to wait at both pick up and drop off for gas station customers to be able to finish my business.Travis H.

The rep was very pleasant, however, the only one in the store. Therefore multi tasking (phones, walk in customers). Some confusion regarding location (inside a Mobil station for paperwork, up the street a block to pick up vehicle). I needed to rent a truck with a ramp to pick up a piano. According to the Web site the only truck available was a 26 foot truck, way too big for the job but I needed it. When I got to the location there were several smaller trucks with ramps available. It would have been nice if the Web site was update, I could have saved some money.
