I was changed $40 for fuel when I had just pump more gas then what it came with. He truck was dirty on the outside including the windshield. The inside was fine.

I had an issue with being over charged for the appliance and utility dolly. Instead of being charged $17 for the two; I was charged $60 for the two. The gentleman at the counter referred to customer service. I haven’t heard back yet.

Person in the help desk asked to see my paper contract after seeing it he tells me to detach the trailer across the street on dirt providing me with no documentation acknowledging receipt of trailer. After I detached the trailer I went back in to ask for a card and his name for proof of drop off and he hesitated to give me his name. After a while he said his name was Mark not sure if it is or isn’t. I took a video of both locations as proof.

I opted not to take insurance per my online reservation because I was driving only 15 miles. I was never asked about this in the store and was charged for insurance.

Those men are not nice at all, they look at you like you should know what to do. There’s people that have never rented a truck before. Also they do not have customer service whatsoever they are rude. I do not recommend anyone to go here.

Reserved vehicle at storage zone in victorville. When I arrived there was no vehicle for me. I was told since we don't have a vehicle for you there will be a refund of $50 due to the vehicle guarantee policy. I called tge number given an was told I won't get the refund and then hung up. Once I arrived to pick up the vehicle that was 20 from the original location I had to resubmit all information over which took 20 minute to get approved once approved I was given the wrong lock combination. All while having mover waiting for me getting paid for doing nothing because I had a 1 1/2 hour delay to uhaul

Where do I begin.... I tried to make a reservation online and was unable to. So I made a phone call and placed a reservation. Was set to pick up a 20 foot truck and shortly after I was notified to pick up the truck from a different location. Couple of days later I was notified to pickup the truck from a different location. I confirmed the reservation and went to the address I was given. Which ended up being a post office. I called customer service and the woman insisted I look inside the post office for a uhaul..... anyways, she gave me the name and phone number to the business where my truck is at. The name of the business was different. But I ended up finding my reserved 20 foot truck. The woman behind the counter lied to my face and actually rented out my reserved truck to a different gentleman and insisted it was his reservation. Called customer service again and had to go back to the original pickup destination for an even bigger truck. Although I received a smal discount. The truck was rickety and bouncy and shook my belongings and broke items.... so now I have to drop it off... okay, so I call customer service and they give me the address to the place I’m supposed to deliver the truck to.... it was a parking lot. An empty parking lot. I call the place I picked the truck up and the man was able to set me up with an actual place of business. Nonetheless, UHAUL customer service is beyond bogus and made my life extremely difficult. The only big help was the location off of yucca in Hesperia. The trucks suck. The service sucks. All of the “neighborhood dealers” don’t even exist and the address and phone numbers are wrong. Nobody seems to give a beaver dam. I wasted time and gas and overall my patience. Why is it so difficult...?

This review is based on the place I picked up the truck from and not Desert Automotive. My reservation was split, why don't I see a review on the place I picked up the truck from? That was the place that really sucked. Desert Automotive, where I picked up the trailer, was fine. The truck was located at a mini mart in San Bernadino and it was my worst uhaul experience EVER. The guy spoke lousy English and I could hardly understand him. Even after checking in the night before, and paying for the truck and trailer, he tried to charge me again. The windshield of the truck was completely caked with bugs, the console of the truck was covered in sticky stuff, like someone had spilled a soda all over it. The cover of the seatbelt latch was missing and there was garbage on the floor in the cab of the truck and in the back of the truck. After I got there to pick the truck up, he kept pushing me aside to help other customers who came in for cigarettes and other items. I checked in the night before and that was a waste of energy because I spent about 45 minutes trying to get the truck. My opinion, MINI MARTS SHOULD NOT BE A PLACE TO GET A UHAUL TRUCK OR ANY OTHER EQUIPMENT!!!! As a uhaul customer, I was not a priority to the mini mart guy. If I ever use uhaul again, I will make sure that the equipment I get is not at a mini mart. I will use Budget instead.

Vehicle was dirty two front tires were capped and bald on the inside passionate door will not open it was not a pleasant ride for 9 hours only thing that I'm pleased about they refunded me my money this vehicle was never taken care of

I ordered a dolly and when I went to get the truck it didn’t have a dolly in it and they charged me, I call a representative since the location was closed and she had me to to another location to pick up a dolly and they also charged me, I asked the representative is I can get a credit since I had to go all the way to Ontario from Hesperia and she said she couldn’t do anything. I was already on a tight schedule so this was a big inconvenience

On pick up I was in and out in no time. Very friendly and helpful was the rep. If I need uhaul in the future I will go out of my way to rent from this location again.
