First off the truck reservation was moved to a completely different location which costed me almost $15 extra. And it was inconvenient. Upon arriving at that location to pick up the vehicle, the address was not even correctly given, was taking me straight through a field. The company renting the U-Haul‘s out locally, even though I did everything online, went 45 minutes into my U-Haul time of my four hour window. Truck rental was 2 to 6 did not leave their property until 251. Worked for three different moving companies over 12 year. And never in my life have I ever dealt with U-Haul in this manner. It was always good things, but this is one of the worst taste that they have ever left in my mouth, and I am overall super disappointed. Not to mention the website showed the truck I picked had the easy load ramp, upon getting the truck and getting all the way to the location to load it there was no ramp to load. They expected me to fly my heavy items up 3 foot and into the back of this truck. Ridiculous! My U-Haul experience was almost $100 and that might not seem like a lot to a lot of people, but to me after paying to move already this was very very annoying and not worth the time and money. They did offer the $50 U-Haul guarantee refund, but it did not compensate for the rest that was not refunded. This again was a complete disaster and I would not recommend it to anyone locally near me. Not all U-Haul places are bad, like I said I’ve worked for moving companies throughout 10 year period and would pick trucks up from locations for customers and everything always went smooth and easy. Not this time.

Vehicle ran okay, but the check engine light was on the entire rental. My complaint is that when I tried to refuel the truck I was unable to remove the gas tank cover. I told the location operator about it, and they were able to get it off but only with extreme difficulty. So, even though I had tried to fill the truck back to its 3/8 level, I ended up paying $17 for fuel to have used the truck for 28 miles. A little exorbitant and frustrating.

The man was NOT helpful at all and did not want to do anything at all to help. He worked harder trying to get out of work than if he would just have went ahead and done it. Will NEVER rent from here again!

The location wasn’t bad except operating hours. But uhaul customer service was awful with long phone waits, app wasn’t working properly and transaction details all messed up. And I got charged for gas when I probably used that much picking up a trailer FOR YOU that I didn’t even use and wasting two extra hrs because of technical and service issues .

Nice truck. They failed to put the furniture pads in the truck,had to load delicate furniture without pads.This wasnt my selected location. They moved my location for pick up the day before my schedule. No Saturday hours to speak to a representative.

The location was fine. But I received no instructions on picking up the truck, and it ended up taking an hour to get it situated. Plus, there was no dolly or pads included that I ordered.

They had me pick up the truck I had reserved a day early (with not additional charge they said) due to Merlefest crowd ar their location. within a couple of hours i found out we no longer needed it and returned it driving it total about 12 miles or less. They charged me for it ($119.00) anyway but if i hadnt of been asked to pick it up early i would've cancelled it.

The check out process took 45 minutes and wasted time and money. I also requested a furniture mover and dolly but nothing was in the truck.

I got stuck and when I customer service they advised I didn’t purchase safemove and wanted to charge me 485 for someone to come out. My receipt shows I paid. The lock on the door had to be cut off. Unacceptable.

Prior to departing with the trailer attached to my truck, I was told by the employee the trailer was secured to my vehicle. As I am unfamiliar with the coupling mechanism for U-Haul trailers. I left with the trailer and traveled approximately 30 minutes away when the trailer became disconnected from my truck, sliding across the roadway. Fortunately no other vehicles were involved. I immediately contacted the rental facility and was instructed on to reconnect the trailer. I did as I was instructed. When I reached my destination, prior to loading the trailer, I checked to make sure the trailer was secure to my truck and again it was not. I immediately went to YouTube and watched an instructional video on how to secure a U-Haul trailer. The instructional video was more helpful than the rental company. I will not be renting from Dino’s Den ever again!! The employees are not competent or knowledgeable with U-Haul products.

I have been to several really good uhaul locations. This one is by far the best. Friendly people who are glad for my business and say so. They came outside with me to connect the trailer, inspected it and my car…all without my having to ask. At turn in, they came out to disconnect….I didn’t have to ask for help, they did it. So very pleased with location, plus they have a wide selection of trailers available…nice to know. Service was efficient .

Reserved a 15 ft. In hickory n.c. told by them had to be picked up in wilksburough n.c. which I did had to pay for a 20 ft because they didn't have any 15 ft. At all dolly wasn't there owner had to bring it to me at my house hours later so I also had to wait to load. Terrible experience totally unhappy with that and don't know if I would ever use your truck again honestly
