LARITA WOur trip was across Florida. The posted hours were open until 6. We arrived an hour after scheduled (which I couldn’t change) and the associate was about to leave at 2pm. The driver side lock didn’t open with the key so I had to climb in from passenger side. Speedometer was way off. Like most other trucks it smelled like smoke.

JALYSA RI discovered I was assigned a moving van with very low tire pressure in the front two tires a few miles on the road. I turned around and headed back to the office to have the tires filled. The sales rep, Jordan Keast, told me to go to a gas station and fill the tires myself. I expressed that it was his (UHaul's) responsibility to provide a safe and properly maintained vehicle to its customers. He told me that it was his only van, and I could either fill the tires myself, or drive on them as they were. I was very disappointed with his response. I did end up filling the tires myself, having to pay an extra $2.00. I also drove an extra 8 miles round trip to head back to the rental site anticipating that someone from that office would fill up the tires. Poor customer service and a poorly maintained vehicle :(

LARRY WI reserved a hand truck and they told me they didn’t have one when I got there. They said to go to the nearby location to rent one but I was told they couldn’t because the ones they had were reserved. I expected since I made a reservation for it , they should have had one for me. It made my move way more difficult than expected and took me longer. Now my back is killing me.
Dina MNeed more instructions for key return. There was just directions to “return key to key box”. It did not say the code to the box, where it would be, how to ensure it was correctly returned, etc.
