I dont recommend any businss to friends. i will tell them where i shopped at and let them decide where/when to use a facility. as big as uhaul is nationally, it would seem to me that i should have been able to use an outlet closer to my home, open up more outlets.

CLETUS CNo one came to the front counter until 25 minutes after my appointment time. Too busy servicing oil change customers even though I had a scheduled appointment. Why have customers schedule appointments if you're going to do first come first serve. After some back and forth about the long wait, the employee was helpful and nice. Not his fault, the policy run by the business is at fault.
JOSEPH MTrailer was n excellent working condition, new tres and all straps & chais to secure my car down were functional and clean. The two guys at this location hooked up the trailer for me, tested everything and unhooked it later that night when I got back, they were professional, efficient and friendly. It was a good simple experience, would highly recommend this U-Haul location, 5 stars.

BLANE AMy trailer was ready and easily accessed when I arrived. Using the U-Haul App made the paperwork quick and easy. The personal helped me with the hook up and the checks before I left and when I returned it. It towed and loaded great with my 4 seater UTV.

GREGG DThis location is very small, it's difficult to maneuver a large uhaul truck. The transmission in the 15' truck I rented stuck horribly. The vehicle struggled to shift gears and would jerk into the next gear every 5 miles per hour accelerated. Overall, it was a difficult truck to drive and the price was very high. I will say that the actual rental process, staff and pick up/ drop off was easy breezy. Thank you for that, but I will not be using uhaul services again in the future.

HOLLY LI reserved a cargo van and appliance dolly for Sunday mobile pickup. After the process of ‘simple’ mobile pickup which took 30 minutes, I discovered there was no dolly in the van. I called support and sat on hold for another 10 minutes. While on hold, I called another location that had a dolly in stock. When support came back on the line, I asked them to credit me the dolly cost because I found one elsewhere. They agreed but never did it. Now I added several more miles having to drive out of my way. Overall I got what I needed but never using this location again.

CRYSTAL DI ordered an appliance dolly which was $12. I was given a utility dolly which only costs $7 so I should be credited $5 since I didn’t get what I paid for

Craig MOver all the location and rental was fine. However the rental process was a joke. I reserved online to do a mobile pick up at the Waterford U-Haul knowing I would not be able to get it before close. I made the reservation around 4pm. Pick up was 7pm. The location never notified me to let me know that that location does not do mobile pick up even tho the website allows it. I had to call the customer service number to try and get another U-Haul at a different location. Wasted over an hour of my time . The whole experience was off putting.
Victor FI did the mobile pickup and it was pretty good, but a little complicated and I was getting charged a crazy amount of money for fuel and a service fee and we only drove 17 miles and put gas in back to where we got it. I was told I would receive a call regarding the charge, but it’s been a couple days now and I haven’t yet.

DION EThe lady that took care of me on the phone was awesome very pleasant. When I picked up the equipment Mr Rob was very unpleasant had a attitude but very surprising though when my cousin who is a male his attitude changed some what. Wouldn’t help me before 10am which is fine that’s when you open but he started oil change before 10am. What you can do is have Rob change his attitude with customers. I wouldn’t recommend a friend because I wouldn’t want my friend to get that attitude that Rob gives.

Alex ZThe app to return the vehicle was really slow. I could not process the whole return. I’d enter the information and it kicked me out and asked me to sign in again. I finally gave up. The pickup guy was super fast and efficient.
Barb LFirst I'd like to say this was not the original location I signed up for. U-Haul changed it to this location due to unavailability of the trailer at initial location. This should have been known at time of reservation which I did more than a week in advance. This location was not customer friendly nor did they have the furniture dolly I requested. However, I must say I had to exchange the trailer for a larger size and the 2nd gentleman was much friendlier and accommodating.
Donna AThe staff were not helpful and made a challenging out of state pick up more challenging. The only response they had was that they were not affiliated with Uhaul and had nothing to do with the app. I had to contact Uhaul and have a representative call my children who were at the site attempting to get the app to work to walk them through it. The staff at the site told them they closed in 20 minutes and said the keys would be in the box and they left. I was very frustrated by this as I was driving to Michigan to move my children so it made a bad situation even worse. I tried to tell the haul representative with the initial phone call that I would be paying for the truck rental, but my son would be the driver. She said nothing to me about the app or adding a driver, she simply said he would have his license scanned at the site, which was false and the site was not Uhaul helpful.

They said they don’t know that I was there. I said I was there why would I have to go thur a snow covered parking lot! Rude response to a customer!

gerald GThe rental itself was fine, but the check-in procedure for picking up the truck outside of business hours seemed unnecessarily long to me. Unless I missed the option to do this, I would have liked the ability to set all of that up ahead of time (for example, entering my passport #, entering contact information for someone who could vouch for me and having that person contacted, etc.) so that I could have just picked up the van when I got to the pickup location. Fortunately, I picked it up when potential witnesses were awake to be contacted, but if I had had to pick up the van in the middle of the night, some of those verification steps would have been impossible to do at that time, and I would have been out of luck. Also, I checked out a dolly as part of my rental, but the pickup location did not have any of those, and as far as I can tell, I was still charged for it. It would have been nice to have been warned that the dolly wasn't available, so that I didn't unnecessarily pay for that. On the positive side, though, the van worked great and was exactly what I needed. Thanks!
Michael PThe Dixie location is always great to work with. One thing to note though, but it's not this particular site: there was a dolly tie strapped against the wall. I understand why you do that but it takes up space in the truck that we could otherwise have used.

Brian PIt was hard to bring this bigger truck into this location. Plus parking was hard because it blocked everything. But it was easier to drop off than to pick up for sure.
Jon VWhen I got there they did have the truck size they claimed they did. Had to use a much smaller truck then what was needed. The truck that was rented to me has a bad exhaust leak, noisey and fumes in cab of truck. Not happy!!!!
