This location is in a gas station booth. I was sick with a cold an it was freezing cold with a high windchill. The attendant a foreign National who badly spoke English wouldn't allow for me to come inside. Instead he made me wait outside for over 15 minutes why he was letting other clients pay for gas although the arrived after me.Ilona S.

The equipment was rented to me with trash in the it. The trailer had an overwhelming odor of mulch,dirt or mildew. The U-Haul representative was unprofessional and unorganized.Steven D.

Attendant barely spoke English which made the pickup process difficult. They didn't have the 12 moving blankets that we requested. The attendant said the truck was just serviced. The low oil light was on. I was told it was OK, just take the truck and if anything went wrong to call roadside assistance. I called RSA from the parking lot of the dealer. A tech came out and said the truck was very low on oil. He filled it to the proper level and the truck ran well for the 180 mile 1 way trip.MARK W.

Carroll Fuel is convenient location for me to pick up and return truck Good and friendly people there are easy to deal with For the first time i drive thru toll tunnel four times to save more than a hundred miles of beltway made sense I am not sure how or when to pay but would like to pay ASAP 6 dollars for each use = 24 dollars unless the truck has EZ Pass ? should be half that ?JOHN Z.

This was my second time ever to rent a truck and was even better than the first time closer to home and cheaper per mile for the same size truck 99 cents vs 129 is a big difference ??? why the same truck cost more in MAYO / Annapolis ??? than in Glen Burnie ??? Mayo is 5 miles each way on a dead end road that is 13 bucks at 129 just wastedJOHN Z.

The vehicle was horrible. It had 99,920 miles on it and acted like it. When you pulled off the truck was stuck on 10 miles then lurched to the next gear. But wait once you were doing the speed limit the truck would randomly jerk. Of course we all know that means the transmission is failing. Let's not forget about the gas smell that appears in the cabin of the truck. I told the guy behind the counter and got â€œ oh okay thank youâ€. Worse service EVER!! Didn't even ask follow up questions and I know that he will be renting it to the next victim. I should have went to Penske and paid extra for the safe ride.Damikka B.

No signage, I was totally unsure where to go. I finally walked up to the gas station attendant and found out that he was the man I was supposed to see. I was also told that it would be open till 6 o'clock and he told me I needed to get there by five because he was closing early. This after I had to change locations because the truck was not going to be ready at 9o'clock the next morning at my original pick up site. He also did not have Blankets I reserved. I was not pleased at all with this U-Haul transaction.TAMARA L.

You have to trust the on-line process, which is counter-intuitive if you are of a certain age. In the end, I didn't know I would end up at this location, the trailer I needed was there and the attendant was knowledgeable. So it all worked, but 1/4 mile down the road was a major U-haul service center that does not pop up when you search on-line. Turns out we needed a receiver to come down to the standard 2 inch ball, so we were also at the service center, and would go there first next time, so you can talk to someone and see all the equipment available (the way it used to be).MARC C.

I felt threatened by agent from the use of his words, drop off location was confusing. Also why have a super uhaul location with dozens of equipment competing with a gas station right across the street. I called costumer support to clear up the situation and they would properly answer a simple question and their use of words were patronizing. I was happy with the equipment.Benjamin M.

The associate went above and beyond to make sure my rental went smoothly. He was extremely knowledgeable and courteous. He made sure I got the best deal possible. I will absolutely rent a U-Haul strictly from this location in the future. We where just going to put gas at this location when we notice there was a U-Haul as well, I asked the person in charge if we could drop the truck here instead of the address I put in my reservation, and he say yes. He was very polite and helpful, he helped us finish the transaction in less than 5 minutes. It was the first time I've requested a service like this and I'm very pleased with the customer service. I would not recommend U-Haul to a friend and I do not ever plan to use U-Haul ever again. I made a reservation in Fredericksburg, VA over a month ago and the you send me to Glen Burnie, MD two hours away. So you just added four hours to my move day because its your process to confirm reservations the day before? How about a week before? How about you don't take a reservation unless you're sure you can fill it? Get extra equipment. The airline industry has this figured, do some benchmarking and get better. This is the second time, you screwed me like this and I will never let it happen again.James W.
