MICHAEL BOur reservation got changed multiple times. The location did not have the correct dolly available that we had reserved.
RICHARD TI booked my reservation and set up for mobile pick up. Arrived to the location for my 7am pickup and there was no equipment assigned to my reservation. I was collecting turkeys for a turkey giveaway so I needed to be on time. Customer service at the 800 number was able to assist me thankfully otherwise my day would have been ruined as I had a tight schedule with 50 families depending on us for turkeys at a set time.

OLIVIA SI was told I would have to put a hundred dollars deposit and I will get my hundred back that the told of renting was 87 and some change and now on my receipt I’m only getting 42 dollars like the details was not giving correctly I was expecting my deposit of a hundred dollars back for my bills if I know it was going to get taking I would have took my business elsewhere I’m disappointed honestly and I was told by to employees that I would get my hundred dollars back at pick up and drop off and I ain’t even have it 24 hours I’m just not satisfied at all sorrry

sheila cThere was no furniture pad in the truck or in stock at this location 133 Saulsbury Rd. My reservations were switched by the main corporate office to another location: 22 22 STEVEN ST DOVER, DE 19901 but the hours do not work for me. Had to call U-Haul Main Corporate to explain why I picked that location by that time they switched me back. Sign out with a App is not convenient for me. For future just confirm and take in consideration the original reservations and send whatever is missing from the order to that location to accommodate the customer's order. Thank you. The Young Lady at 133 Saulsbury Rd is on point and quick to get customers in and out and handle the store customers as well.

KYLEIGH GI don't like the ideal. That you can't drop off U haul rental at any other place that could be closer before you go over your free miles. And get charge .99 cent a mile

Mike AI rented a truck for 4 hours. I used it for 2 hours 23 minutes and drove 23 miles. I got a call from the rental location asking if I had driven over 200 miles. I responded I did not, and explained how this was impossible. I was informed that the situation would be rectified. Nevertheless, I received a bill for $337.57. I contacted the company. I was told I needed to provide verification of my claim that the bill was inaccurate. Obviously, the location did not need to justify its action. I requested to speak with a manager. The representative returned to the phone, and advised me a refund was authorized. After I provided proof of the mileage; I patiently waited for the resolution. Eventually, I was told a refund of $292.83 would be issued in 5-7 days. Naturally, I was annoyed that a company would take this long to return my funds. I advised the representative that I should not be charged at all based on what I had experienced. She responded she would tell the supervisor. This situation ranks among the worse in my 74 years,

TIARA LFix the mirrors - passenger side mirror was loose moved as I drove and opened/shut the door. I attempted to leave a note in the app about the mirror but it insisted that my comment was not in English, which it was. I reserved a truck with 12 pads and 1 dolly. The location was out of dollys and the truck had 0 pads.
Daniel SThe truck ran poorly and was left stuck in "trailer transport" mode. Why isn't anyone paying attention to detail to have had this truck ready for me? I wasn't given but the briefest of details as they had no one to represent U haul to walk me through procedures. To make matters worse, the ONLY pump there that had diesel fuel was NOT OPERATIONAL! Yet it was advertised on their sign. No wonder I had a accident trying to find one there. No real help when needed at beginning and end. I would never recommend this place for a U-Haul pickup or drop off for that matter. Disappointed-only the location was convenient.

Linda SThe vehicle performed fine. The cab had to be cleaned before using it. A broken windshield wiper was on the floor. The passenger-side windshield wiper was missing. I replaced it with an extra I had in storage. Customer service from the attendant was fine.

Mike PUHUAL was super accommodating when I needed to switch my pick up time very last minute! The support we received was always on a timely manner and everyone was so polite! The cashier at the store was also very friendly and helpful.

Debra DI was asked to help another customer with a jump then the computer was not working to get the truck this took 40 min to get in my reservation which it put me back to return he truck I got there at 630 and the person told me that I had to do online drop off which took another 20 min after all the pictures. Deff not the best experience

Gary LThe receptionist was using his phone for check-in, but seemed unfamiliar with the process. He then requested me to complete the check-in myself, yet encountered difficulties. After multiple attempts, I ended up having to complete the process on his phone, which turned a 5-10 minute task into over an hour. It was quite an unpleasant experience.
Mibsar MI was moved to this location when nobody was at my original location. I had put on my on-line request that I wanted to go to the counter, when given the choice on-line. Upon arriving and finding the place closed I called U-HAUL. They said I had to do it by app. Since that couldn't be done they found another location nearby and I went there. The woman at the desk was rude and barely answered my questions. She assigned me to a truck that was dirty inside, had barely a quarter tank of gas and no dolly. Also the Low Tire Pressure light was on. I went back into the store and told her these things. She said they didn't have any dollys and that I just had to come back with that same amount of gas. This was a V8 engine and I watched the needle go to E before I got to where I was going in order to pick up my furniture. I had to get off the highway for gas in an unfamiliar area in order to complete my less than 20 mile trip. Regarding the tire pressure she said I had to go somewhere to get air in the tires. She would not come out to look at the truck. Since I was already late due to this detour and the fact that I still had to find a dolly, I just left. This was a pretty awful experience. I have used U-HAUL many times in the past couple of years very satisfactorily. Obviously I won't use this one and I just moved here.

Kaitlyn DThe steering would violently shake anything above 15 mph. Any bumps resulted in the truck becoming sketchy and uncontrollable for a bit. This truck was unsafe and I didn’t even use it to move I just unpacked the truck and took it back

Kyra MThey did not have the equipment I requested with my rental vehicle. They told me when I arrived to pick it up that they are just supposed to tell people when they arrive that it is unavailable. In addition, they did not inspect the vehicle or check the gas or mileage. Instead I was required to take a picture and bring it in to show them. The truck was in horrible working condition and smelled like mold and old cigarettes.

Had to call 1-800-Go-UHaul & was offered a bigger truck, which was way more than I needed, but did offer it at the same price as the smaller truck. If a neighborhood store doesn’t have equipment, it should be noted on the website.
