Originally reserved a truck month ahead for 84th/Q, and pre-paid supplies to be picked up at 84th/Q, but my reservation was moved to this location the day before. Hard to communicate with. Hung up on me when I asked a question but I think they didn't understand that I was asking a question. Picked up supplies at 84/Q. Then went to 110/Harrison to get truck and blankets. Rented and pre-paid for blankets and the truck did not include them. Truck cabin smelled like cleaning products covered urine smell, faint smell of cigarette smoke. Had to drive to that location to get my supplies. Obnoxiously complicated.
AILEEN TVery dirty area. It was okay but a lot of weird people looking at us. We locked our car during the photo process.

Megan DHuge language barrier with owners, so made the pick up experience extremely difficult. Paperwork was messed up. Dates for the truck were not correct. Ended up paying way more than quoted. Drop off was difficult as well.

Troy FU-haul Padlock on cargo area of a 20 ft truck. Delayed 30+ minutes and missed movers appointment. No Cruise control on this truck for long distance move. No pads or other supplies available or limited supply.

Brianna HI tried doing mobile pick up, but still had to go inside and there was a significant communication barrier with the staff of the gas station. It was kind of confusing and the man helping didn’t seem too familiar with the process. Overall, it worked out and it was a friendly interaction. But it took me 30 minutes to get the truck, including the ridiculous number of hoops I had to jump through with the online reservation.
Craig CI about walked out a number of times. I really needed the truck and so I kept going. It all started the night before when I called for directions and they could not tell me where they were due to a language barrier. When I got there the next morning, I handed them my driver's license and they asked me for another ID because they told me that that one would not work. I reserved the truck under Ed and my name is Edward. After going around a number of times about my ID and my name the next problem was the price. He kept pointing to the screen for a number of things because he could not tell me what they were. He pointed to the price and tried telling me that I needed to pay him over $300. When I asked why, he just kept pointing and insisting. He made another phone call and finally asked if I had a card on file, yes I did. He then came up with about $221, this time I could see on the screen that it was the $173 plus insurance and taxes, I was ok with that. He had me sign the contract and he then gave me some keys like I was done. I asked him how much gas I needed to put in and he just kept looking confused and saying gas. I asked for paperwork and he seemed confused that I needed paperwork, he printed me a copy and I left. My van was not running well at this point and I needed to rent a car dolly. I went to the location on Millard Ave in Omaha and the two men there not only got my set up with a dolly, but also explained all of my questions with the truck. I would be very hesitant to go back to the LaVista location. I would happily go back to the Millard Ave location.
Ed LThey added insurance and didn't even ask me if I wanted it. Also they didn't have the pads and dolly I reserved. I asked if they took it off and they were like yeah, yeah. They didn't understand English very well, I checked my receipt and noticed it was more than my original reservation for the cost. So asked at the Stony Brook location where I was picking up the other items why it cost more without the additional items than my original reservation and they said it had insurance on it. I don't mind going to another location because the original location doesn't have the truck, but I want to be able to get everything I reserved at one location for the original quoted price.
kameron bAttempted to charge additional $55.00 above my rental agreement.Would not correct the additional charge. Had to contact the main office to get manner taken care of. Would Not recommend dealer with drop off location. Very rude..
Donald BThe worker spoke very little English, if any at all making the pickup process confusing.
Kevin BAll workers there hardly spoke English. I was asked to wait 15 min because the only worker that new how to do the uhaul return was out running errands. I felt very uncomfortable here.

Quentin MThe man helping me used his personal device to take photos of my Drivers license. I also believe that the fuel needle did not work correctly. When I got the U-Haul truck it was at half of a tank. Once I returned to the location I had only driven the truck 23 miles. When I pulled into the location the truck was at 3/8 of a tank. I used their gas pumps to re-fill the truck. I put in $25 of 87 grade gas which was $3.89 a gallon. This is approximately 6.42 gallons and the gas gauge did not move. I was then charged an additional $29 for gas. There is no way that I used that much gas with only driving 23 miles. This is not acceptable. I will be expecting a call from customer service on these matters. Thank you.
Connor CThe two gentlemen who helped me with the rental were efficient and explained the cost sheet & the check in process clearly. They were also friendly and courteous. I find the U Haul organization to be the best in the business.

Rodney GTried to drop off the UHaul here and was told this wasn’t my drop off location and I needed to go to another store. It took them a good 10 minutes to tell me that I had to call a number and have my location switched so it showed up on their screen. The over all experience felt like to 2 gentleman behind the counter had better things to be doing and weren’t really concerned about helping. I was the only customer in the store at the time.

Wayne FBeyond disappointed with my experience. Made my reservation online and when I went to pick it up, they had no idea what I was talking about. Went to the uhaul dealership up the road and they claimed to have been unsuccessful in contacting me so my reservation was just ignored I guess. The options I was given was either a 26’ truck or a 10’. My “compensation” was a .25¢ reduction on the mileage, a Dolly, and moving pads. The worst part was it cost the same as the 15’ truck reservation I made. How is any of this acceptable?? I was told they emailed and texted me, neither of which I received. I guess making a phone call is too much to ask for in customer service. And the supposed compensation was a slap in the face. I would like someone to CALL me to discuss this matter and I would also like to file a formal complaint. 360-255-8517.

MARIAN AWe had ordered a truck to be picked-up using 24/7 service on Saturday night. Earlier that day I had received an e-mail saying that the pick-up location had been switched. When we arrived the 24/7 was not working. We called for help and were on hold for 45 minutes with no assistance. So, we went home. First thing in the morning I received an email saying our rental was cancelled. We called and was on a 34 minute wait. We finally got ahold of someone who said that the change to the new location was a location that does not provide the 24/7 services. It was sad how hard it was to get someone on the phone and nothing was offered in return for the inconveniences; and, the whole reason we wanted to pick up the truck the night before was so we could have an early start and avoid the heat. The is the first time we had a bad experience with U-Haul.
MATTHEW NLocation is in a gas and goodies. Entrance is strange. Had to wait a few minutes for our truck. Overall, customer service was good. Uhaul representative was kind and courteous.

James MCheck-in person was friendly enough, but I got no clear indication that I checked out, no receipt, no confirmation that the truck was delivered and my obligation was fulfilled. (That all came an hour later via e-mail, thank goodness).

TODD SThis was one of the worst experiences i have had in a long time. From the very beginning. First off you can't measure a truck with that moms attic. Your not really getting 20ft of truck. Then there was absolutely no oil in the truck. Bone dry. Then we left the truck with more gas in it and havent been refunded like the gentleman said. Also when i picked up truck you guys ran my account and took the money. Then you guys put it back in my account and took it out again causing my account to be overdrafted . All around it was a compkete nightmare
AMY L1) I ordered furniture pads, that were not included. 2) The clerk was unable to figure out how to do anything about number 1. 3) There was no sign-in form to itemize existing damage to the vehicle. Despite the low mileage it was beat up. 4) I didn't see an indication of the pre existing fuel level of the vehicle. 5) I still haven't seen a receipt for this move. Over all a poor job. I am reminded why I usually rent from Penske.
Patrick GFuel tank was almost empty when I got U-haul van. They didnt notify me. Usually when I receive any rented vehicle, fuel tank would be full. Within 8 miles it was almost empty.
Rajesh VGas was at a quarter tank when I received the rental and they said it was fine to return it without filling it up and they would just charge the difference. They charged me a 30$ fee for gas upon receiving my receipt.
austen oUpon arrival, it started off by asking me if I already had the keys or a form for the keys. Which I didnt because nothing was ever given to me or said to me after making the reservation. Then after a brief moment the keys were just handed to me, and nothing else was filled out or signed or anything (the uhaul was technically not even checked out to me at this time). When I returned later that night to return the uhaul, I handed in the keys, the clerk took them and said thank you, and that I was good to go, which i thought was odd because i hadn't paid or signed anything yet. So i reminded them i hadn't paid. Then a manager was called to sift this out. After some time and giving more details they got me checked out and I paid. 24 hours later I get a text saying it wasnt checked in and to contact when I would be returning it. I called, the lady told me they only texted me once, even though it was twice to remind me to check it in (clearly have proof of this, but she fought me on it). I had to ask to not be charged more since I had already returned it, just in case someone might have forgot, since everything else was forgotten and I could have just walked away. Finally got this email and was glad to give my review. Needless to say I will not be using this location or possibly another uhaul again since nothing was done for me, and I went out of my way for uhaul to do all the work.
Brandon RWhen we got there, no one could help us. I had to wait for the manager to call me. He was nice enough. Just not the normal way to handle this. Received the bill today. We picked up the truck at 11:41, returned it at 3:25. Our bill was doubled. We were charged for 8 hours, and 28 for insurance. Insurance was supposed to be 14, and we only rented the truck for 4 hours. I called, manager isn't there. I could sure us some help !!
mary jThe guy checking me in asked me to go back out and verify the fuel and odometer, I had just filled the tank and I had checked the odometer and committed it to memory, however, that is not my job and they were not busy. I felt scrutinized there in the time it took him to check everything off and say I was good to go. Not friendly either

Derek MThe person at this location had no idea what to do about returning a vehicle. It seems there's only one person who can help with this and if she's not there you're out of luck.
Dennis CThe contract had the wrong pick up location. When I got to the second pick up location they did not have the blankets that were on the order so I had to go to a third location. Then I purchased a lock for the truck at the third location that did not fit on that size of the truck. Total incompetence!!!

isaias mI couldn't even tell if this location was open until I pulled on the door handle. The only person on duty had no clue what to do when I returned the truck. I had to suggest a course of action.
David SThis was a terrible first experience, please train employees how to use the system. I spent nearly an hour waiting for the man to stop getting sidetracked with gas station customers and then he didn't even know what he was doing. I wanted a small package but he charged me full price for a larger one since that was all that was available and I was almost charged another day since he never told me that there was a dropbox so I could drop off the truck during off hours.
Samuel MTruck bed was not clean. Power Sterting was not working causing me to use the strength of a passenger to move the steering wheel. This was deffinetly a safety hazard. If I didn’t need the truck that bad, I would have returned it immediately. I requested a discount for the defective truck, but the UHaul dealer did not give me one. I’m requesting a discount of the truck rental for a defective truck.

Cathleen WThey had no way to trouble shoot there system when it wasn't working, so I ended up having to wait almost an hour while they tried to figure it out, because they were on the help line hold for so long. There should really be a better way for Uhal service locations to receive help without having to wait an hour on the phone. The employees were very nice and I felt bad for them,there should really be a system to support them!!!

Collin PI thought it would be a speedy process since I paid online. He seemed confused and at first said he didn't have keys. We waited until he figured out what he was doing.
Doreen BThe back of the truck was not swept out. It even had broken glass back there. Also, I expect a rental to have full fuel in the tank. Mine was a little shy of 1/4 tank full. I returned it with 3/8 full and I don't think its fair that I am paying the difference.
Robin KGas station attendant did not now how to check me out for the uhaul and she did no the difference between vehicles or which one was mine.
