The unit had cigarette ash in all of it's cupholders and debris on the floor of the truck's loading bay. There was a dirty head visor on the floor of the truck, and the driver's side mirror was zip-tied on. This made it impossible to reposition, so I had a great deal of trouble backing the truck up! Furthermore, the vendor was hardly professional, or even polite!BRIAN H.
Headlights were extremely dim and caused a dangerous driving environment during dark hours. (The turning signals put out more light than the headlights). Very hazardous to say the least.Brian C.
They were helpful with showing how to attached the car towing hitch, but the truck itself was full of red clay in the cab and there was a broken windshield and side mirror torn off.James B.

Have trucks available where customers reserve them from. Don't allow renters to smoke in the vehicles. Mine smelled so bad when I picked it up. Maintain your trucks betterANDREA E.

The inside of the cab was very dirty. Old trash in floor board and doors. Sticky stuff everywhere. The back storage area was not swept upon retrieval. The driver mirror was unusable as the bottom mirror was missing a screw and flung out. The top part of mirror wouldn't stay in position. We had to move so took the truck anyway. It was something that if I had more time, I would have called to change locations of pickup because it was terrible. However, the staff was friendly at location. So customer service a plus.Amber G.

I ordered items to help me move an appliance hand truck, a regular hand truck, and furniture dolly's. Upon receiving the key I opened the back of the truck to check and see if everything was in there due to the check in app only showed the truck as my rental equipment and none of the items were in the back of the truck. I went back inside to see if maybe it just wasn't loaded onto truck because on the app it didn't show the items were unavailable and I was charged for them. When the guy inside became sarcastic and said this is why you shouldn't order through the app. So I then asked if I could be refunded for the items and he did try and pull it up. But said he was unable to edit anything because I went through the app. Now I've been charged for things I didn't even get to use because they didn't have any. With my work schedule Uhaul was great in what I needed help moving but if the items aren't there then we need to be able to make notation in the app. Because in the beginning it doesn't ask you to check for appliances requested too make a notation wether it was received or not.Rebecca J.

We had an 8 a.m. 24/7 truck share appointment, but upon arrival at the site at 7:30 a.m., we discovered that our reservation had been changed to an in-person delivery. The location didn't open until 9 a.m. We were fretting over this, because we had hired movers through UHaul and were paying by the hour. An employee did not show up at the location until 9:15 a.m. At this point, there was another UHaul customer waiting on her 9 a.m. reservation. The employee appeared to be having a bad morning as he was curt and short with everyone upon arrival. He unlocked the front door and then let us shut in our faces was he said â€œLet me get opened up.â€ We'd reserved moving pads with our truck, and the location didn't have any. We were banking on those, and on a rainy day, we ended up ruining bed blankets trying to cover our furniture and cloth pieces. We had to Clorox our mattresses and bases upon unloading because everything was covered in wet dirt from the bed of the truck.Michael T.

The pickup location was great but I had the car hauler for less than an hour. The old car I was going to buy was sold before I got to the location, brought the car hauler back and was still charged the full 24 price of 80 bucks. I will darn sure look for another company the next time. You would think uhaul would have at least discounted it.William S.

return the uhaul on the correct date so that the customer isn't double charged for things. I returned my uhaul 5 hours after I picked it up on 07/20/2020 and they didn't return it until 07/22/2020. This charged me almost 60 extra dollars for keeping it an extra day even though it was sitting in their lot.Anna-Marie J.

I want to say first Uhaul as a company has taken very good care of me. I rent from you often and will continue to use you as my business grows. However my experience last time was frustrating. I try to deal with the location at freedom pc. They have been consistently great. Unfortunately they did not have the size truck I needed. Uhaul called me to send me to a different location (Johnson auto. I will never go there it's disgusting and dangerous (dogs). Uhaul was very nice and found me another location. Dublin haunting and fishing. Not much better. The place is a bait shop so I understand the smell but the counter looked liked they had just been cleaning a fish cage on it. When I waited for them to enter my info they did nothing about the counter. This is were I was supposed to stand. After about 15 min of him having trouble entertaining info someone else walked in and said they were interested in fishing equipment. He stoped what he was doing with me wiped off counter (with a dirty towel) and proceed to help them. Came back to me and finalized paperwork. I went out to truck and the back was filthy with gravel dirt and leaves. To not prolong process I just swept out. I was done. I hate to send bad reviews because I know things will not always be perfect but this was bad. Again Uhaul has been really good to me and I hope that this last experience is just a blip in the radar. I do want to add a friend rented from Johnson auto on Telfair and had a worse experience. Again it was the dogs and this was a month and half ago. I would look into. God bless.Joe G.

I know it is not your fault, but my reservation for the truck was delayed by a day due to the truck not being back from the other person returning it. A phone call to let me know could have saved me some time getting things in place.Charles E.

Please ensure that your online reservation hours are consistent with the location. I came to the location at my reserved time and the owner said he does not even open at 8 am on Monday's. Also- as a U-haul affiliate, He didn't have any of the equipment I needed other than the truck as he was not properly informed. No dollies and the wrong type of car transport for my car. I am still waiting for the refund to process on the car transport I was charged for.Branddon B.

Location and Staff were very good, better than a lot of U-Haul places. My problem was with the online process and the fact that U-Haul changed my pickup location but didn't clarify that I had to return at their selected location. I returned the truck to my originally selected drop off location but was then threatened with a $200 fee if I didn't go back and relocate the truck. Bottom line, U-Haul online reservations has problems and the customer must accept the mistakes.Clint H.
I return the on Saturday, it not process until Monday. I return the truck with more gas if when I received truck, but they charged me $65.00 gas fee. This is a fraudulent charge. I took a pic of gas level when I return truck, because I was told u-haul agents are notorious for borius charges for gas and dirty truck return fees.jerry J.
