I am a 64 year old, female. Was told to go hook up to the 6 x 12 enclosed trailer with no jack on it. The trailer was dirty and the guy from the BP just took picture of my license plate. He had no idea how to hook up the safety chains and I had to instruct him to take pictures of previous damages on the trailer. When I dropped it off I brought a jack to be able to unhook from the trailer. Again no help. Not very happy with that uhaul facility.

The first location I went to Coleman & Son in Dwight, IL would get a poor - no keys in the lock box, a no - flat tire on truck, and no i will not recommend that site. As that location failed me I was sent to the Dwight BP location above. Never spoke to that agent but the customer service person on the phone, Karen, did an excellent job. She saved the entire situation for me. I feel that uhaul owes me a refund of some kind as my pick up time was 9am and it was 11am before I got the truck. I had people standing around waiting for over 2 hours. Once the problem was finally remedied, everything went smoothly. Thanks.

Jamison COnly if they want to figure things out on there own. The location personal when asked a question about pick up slipped a counter plaque with U-Haul number on it and said you need to call this number. On the other hand Josh at the number from the plaque was top notch and handled everything I needed and requested.
Martha SI lived in Peru,Il. I ordered the truck 6 weeks in advance. I did not appreciate having to take 2 plus hours out of my day to go get the truck. Totally B.S.
Mike R24/7 wasn't working as it didn't in the previous location either. Lady inside was very UNHELPFUL. This whole experience leads me to rent a Penske for future moves. I reserved a 15ft truck in Dwight, uhaul moved the reservation to Gardner (30 additional miles I would have had to pay) got to Gardner the 24/7 check in wouldn't work, the guy inside pulled up reservation and it was double the price. Couldn't get through to customer service. Canceled and rebooked, only a 10ft was available, had to make two trips and pay double the mileage. Never again will I use uhaul I this isn't rectified

Linda TOwner of U-Haul business was super helpful. I feel he went above and beyond to help us drop off truck and trailer. The people at the BP station however were less than helpful and very rude when we were trying to figure out what we had to do to drop off the truck
Kali WWe had to wade through water over our ankles in order to hook the trailer up to our truck. They need a better place on their lot for the equipment.
