MALGORZATA BOur only problem was with the drop/off return tonight one day early. The online U-Haul return app would not work on my phone (Android) so my wife did it with her iPhone but it would not let her take any pictures. So the U-Haul after hours return app is our only complaint...we probably spent close to an hour just trying to get the app to work...and it didn't fully work.
DAVID HWhen I arrived to pick up the trailer, I had a receiver with a 1-7/8" ball on it. I also brought a 2" with me so that I could be sure I had the right equipment. Upon arrival, I asked what ball size was needed and the customer service representative said it requires a 2" ball. I asked if there was a tech or wrench available so I could put on the right ball. She said no, I could go next door to the auto parts store to try and borrow one or buy one. I went next door to the auto parts store and they didn't have one available or for sale. I went to several other stores nearby and was unable to locate a wrench. I then called U-haul customer support and asked if there was another facility that would have the trailer. Specifically, one that had a wrench or tech so I could change out the ball. The U-Haul Customer Service agent on the phone was incredibly rude! She said that "t sounds like I was ill prepared and I hadn't read the fine print" in the agreement. Had I not been in a pinch, I would have immediately cancelled my U-Haul rental and gone somewhere else. Instead, I ended up buying a $40 receiver and ball from U-Haul so that I could make the move. TERRIBLE Customer Service!!

Craig SMy in-laws ex-husband and family worked at U-Haul as did I in Jacksonville, Florida as a young adult and this location was dirty. The truck was dirty. The lady look like she just got done digging through the ground with her fingernails the way she spoke with slang and unprofessional. I told her there was not a full tank of gas. She still marked me returning it as a full tank of gas. I did not ask for the protection insurance. I made sure twice, but because her boss had to finish the order… The U-Haul location owner they charged me for the insurance. The inside of the truck did not smell good. There were strips from someone’s drink up on the sunshade and on the instrument panel and The truck was just filthy as far as dirt dust fingerprints, and spill marks.

Romain RUpset that 2 tires blew after 5 min of picking up the truck. Had to wait for tire replacements while my workers were waiting to load the truck. So money lost that day . And the lady laughed when I called to report the tires blew I feel o should of Got some compensation for all that I had to Deal with and nope got nothing

Blake FThe windshield was very filthy. Gas tank wasn't filled which is super inconvenient--its a hassle to try to calculate how much gas to put in to get it to 5/8. Checking in/out online was inconvenient without decent cell service in the area and took way too long to get the keys.

Clay WMy reservation was switched to this location on the morning of my rental. The only information I received in the email notification was the address. When I showed up at the location, in a big strip mall area, the business was closed and there were no trucks outside. Seeing this, I dropped e to my original reservation location and they had to call the dispatching service to figure out that the trucks were parked behind the building where I just came from. They made me go back and I eventually found the truck to the rest of the business. This location is located at a big strip mall shopping area and from the front, there are no signs of any uhaul trucks being present. Nor are there any notices on the business doors indicating you need to drive around to the back. The lack of communication and giving clear direction on where to find the truck was horrible and wasted my time driving all around looking for it. Granted, once I did find the truck, the process of getting it and returning it at this location was easy.

Theodore SMy issue is not with this location... they were professional and very helpful. My two issues are 1) I requested the van be picked up at a different location on North Gate, and 2) the UHaul app kept failing (during pickup and turn in. I had to go into the vendor during pickup and I had to do 5 chat sessions during turn in. Very frustrating experience.
Kevin MThe overall experience was great with the staff and the location. But the way that U-Haul has changed everything to apps and you doing the walk around checks is so frustrating. Not to mention my pickup location was changed the night before after making a reservation a week before. I will most likely not use U-Haul for my next move.
