the person at the counter was not trained on how to complete the check in. I rented via the uhaul website on Sunday for an emergency situation and when I went to the store they initially told me to come back the next day when the owner would be in. I told them I had a confirmation and they eventually called the owner. I asked if they had the tow insert with ball, but they didn’t carry any towing accessories, so I had to go to another store for that. Once I returned in about 15 minutes, it took nearly an hour to get the trailer contract completed. I paid for towing inspection, but the employee knew literally nothing about the trailer and barely spoke any english. After I hooked up the trailer to my truck he went back inside to tend to the convenience store without ever inspecting how I loaded the vehicle on the trailer. I eventually just googled “how to hook up the safety chains on uhaul car transport trailer” and found a youtube video. I was able to get the car safely loaded, but the employee never even attempted to inspect the straps, safety chains, wires etc. Every other uhaul destination I have ever dealt with was very knowledgeable about the equipment and took the lead to ensure I understood the safety features of the equipment and thoroughly inspected to make sure the lights, connections and safety chains were secured prior to leaving, so this was a very different experience. Thankfully I was able to safely tow the vehicle 250 miles to the final destination, but I was nervous that I may have missed vital steps that put myself, my vehicle and others safety at risk. This owner needs to be aware that this lack of training could present a very large liability exposure to his business.

Not enough equipment on hand. When we brought the truck and car dolly in for drop off. That was the only truck.

We were robbed of $$. We had a 6 hr rental and had the truck back in 5.5 hrs and was told we were late. We called customer service and they said it was the location’s issue and the guy at the store said he couldn’t help. I feel like we were robbed. It’s not much money, but it’s just the point. I’ve rented several times in the past with No issues, but this one definitely left anbad taste in my mouth!

This wasn’t the drop off location I had requested, wasn’t there fault. The person was kind but didn’t know exactly what was going on. I did end up dropping off my rental there and left.

Location was fine. iPhone app crashed constantly during pickup and drop off. Just trying to upload pics. Emails seem to come in but very very delayed. Middle of day yesterday I got email about uploading pictures. But it was hours after I had already gotten truck.

Pick up took 45 mins , slow internet. The person helping us was not very knowledgeable with the pick up process. After telling him I would call u haul for help he called. The issue was resolved after the call. I was charged &100.00 more than the price quoted to me by haul when making the reservation.

Person didn’t know how to check the truck in. Spoke terrible English. I was there almost an hour trying to get the vehicle checked in. He had to call another person for help, but still didn’t get it done. I think the late fee I was charged was due to his incompetence. Very bad experience I must say…
