The mobile pick up process took a half hour plus. Customers should be told to pick their U-Haul up 30 min prior to rental time so they account for this. Also, the mobile pick up was not convenient.

ELAINE ICouldn't get threw to anyone the day I was going to rent the truck. Talked to a gentleman the day before and he just told me to call back the next day and he'd help me with the entire rental and wanted to give him the rental since he was so helpful the day before. Also I'm going to ask him about renting another van or maybe a pod and see if I could do a package deal but not only could I not get ahold of anyone yesterday for the rental but left my number and no one even gave me a call back. So even know I had a good experience with the rental, I'm now looking for another company to rent a pod and truck again when I do my final move in a few weeks.

LOUIS MI bought boxes online. They were overpriced. I paid 106 dollars. The boxes at the store cost way less compared to prices in the online store
ANDRES RUp multiple stairs; definitely not ADA compliant. Dingy office. Sub-contractor on staff seemed annoyed that I was dropping off a truck; could not answer any questions at all about the rental, and was clearly annoyed I had even asked. No clear indications as to where the truck should be parked to return it. Might as well have been dropping it off to a random gas station with no access to the transaction. NOT what I expect for a $600+ transaction. Do better.

CARLA NWhen I went to pick up the truck at the office smelled of marijuana, the worker was in the bathroom using it yelling out that he’d be out in a minute as I listen to him make bodily function noises. Then he asked me if I wanted the insurance which I had already purchased online. I wouldn’t use this location again.

Anthony PPicking up and dropping off the van was a simple process. It was clean and easy to drive, considering I hadn't driven a large van in about 30 years! My ONLY caveat for future renters is that when checking out the back (which is caged in), you can easily lock yourself inside. Because if you're alone, the only way out is from the back doors. Even if you have the key & fob on you, the side door doesn't open from the inside and the back doors took a moment for me to figure out how to unlatch from in there. So remember to keep your cell phone with you and have someone outside the van while you're climbing around. Because you don't want a child (or panicky adult) stuck in there while loading or unloading! Again driving was easy, the brakes were good and visibility with the side mirrors was clear. P.S. If you drive on toll roads and you don't have a transponder, your card on file will get billed when they come in.

Imelda GWe were given the wrong size truck. No information provided regarding codes and preverification. Took 40 mins to pick up truck and leave the lot. Called customer support on the 800# and they were very helpful and resolved the problem. So am “excellent” for them.
Bradford KThe day before we had reserved the truck for, we were told that there was no truck available at that location and we had to drive an extra 30 minutes to pick up the truck. When we got there, it was a run down house with no U-Haul sign. It was hard to find the office and the person inside did not have a good understanding of what was going on. It felt somewhat unsafe walking into this building.

The real issue is with your app. It is ridiculous that you can’t alter a reservation on the app. It takes a phone call with multiple transfers to get a reservation extended. The customer service people on the phone were very good. But make their jobs easier by making the app more useful and robust
