The truck parking lot was a grass field and very muddy. I had trouble getting traction to exit the parking lot in the UHaul truck. Gravel would help. My Honda Civic (front wheel drive) had no trouble.

I was happy to even be able to leave my personal car behind. Tek was very nice and helpful. He did not shame this woman for being a little slow in understanding some details. :) My first time in completing this.

Christina T.My reservation was changed to this location after I had already checked-in online the night before. The address on the website/text confirmation was incorrect (this location was involved in a fire 2 years ago and store had moved). I intentionally set this up to be mobile pick-up to minimize contact (Covid currently surging in this region), but was now told I needed to pick up key directly from person at store. After arriving at new location, store was closed. Owner arrived 20 minutes after posted opening time. He was very nice, but all told, I picked up truck two hours after I had planned. I have used Uhaul mobile app many times, but this was the most negative experience I've had.

Jaimy W.I identified drop off location when I made the reservation and it was included on the website. I got home, looked at the website, and drop off location disappeared. I called Uhaul and they had me call local number since the place close to my house did not have room. I called local dealer and arranged drop close to home as originally requested. I drop off after 1.5 days (2 day rental) but app did not work again. I called Uhaul and they said fine and noted it. Next day I get charged $40 for an additional day. Called local Uhaul and they said I also could have gotten charged another $20 for not using the app. They did not read the notes about my vcall the night before. Requested date, time and location to pick up and drop off is a mere suggestion and if stars align, some of these requirements may just work out. I emailed customer service and they essentially said that I should not complain because I got a truck, checked it out, dropped the truck off close to home and was refunded my $40. Customer service is so poor I will NEVER use Uhaul again and they take no responsibility for any of these issues. I suspect you train your customer service agents to be disrespectful, condescending and not take responsibility. I will take my business elsewhere and also let my friends and fellow vets know how you treat customers.

sherri S.Your computer system allowed me to select Republic, WA as my drop off. Only when I enter to drop it off was I informed I had to drop it in Colville, WA. Your system should know not to allow that. Uhaul then wanted to charge me for the delay.

Vincent G.Very nice gentleman, but slow at check in. There was a lock on the truck that was not theirs, which means it was not checked before being rented out to me. Then I was at the location at 5:55 for drop off and it was fully closed and he was gone. Another person also came to drop off and we both were reassured in the am that he'd be there until 6 and that is what the hours are. The online drop off process was also not smooth and the app did not upload photos. Customer service was not very helpful and no where did it say, nor did anyone say when I called twice, you must have an account to do the drop off. I was just using the order look up and that does not give a drop off option. After a long day of moving, to have wasted a half hour because the location closed early was VERY frustrating.
Anna S.This would have been a 1-star review had it not been for the follow-up by customer service. I arrived at the location which was a self-serve option. I was able to follow the instructions easily to unlock the lockbox, however, there was an additional locking bolt that prevented me from accessing the key. Because the location had no attendant I could not get help. Hence I left without a van. Fortunately, customer service did a great job following through. they apologized and refunded my deposit without any hassle. i would rent from UHaul again. Just not this location.

BRITTNEY V.I was called and told that I couldn't rent a van for 1-way trips and would need a truck instead. I asked her if I could change to a van if I returned to the same location; she said she would change this for me. When I got to the location, they told me I was signed up for a truck and couldn't use a van. The man at the counter told me when we rented the truck that the gas tank was three-quarters full. When he returned it, he kept saying the gas tank had been completely full and that we would charged extra, and it took several minutes of arguing back and forth with him before he admitted that he had made a mistake. Wish the communication had been better.
Amy H.Originally I was scheduled to pick up a truck at the North Seattle UHaul location- not only did they not have a truck, didn't inform me they didn't have it until I arrived, and then were jerks. Although they facilitated getting a truck at a further location they did nothing to “make it right†including fixing the charges for mileage. Incredibly frustrating such that unless the company “makes it right†I won't rent from UHaul anymore.

Told me I needed to use another card when his equipment wasn't working properly, I called my bank… they confirmed it was his terminal that wasn't sending signal through. Vehicle was dirty and not cleaned prior to rental. Upon returning vehicle he asked if it was clean, i responded as clean as when I received it, so no… he then said I complained to much. I can't believe U-Haul allows for operators like this to drag their name and quality of service through the mid. I will never use this location again.
