I was told one price but when I got my reciept I saw where I was overcharged there’s no way I should have paid almost $300.00 when I only had the truck for no more than 3hrs.It was returned on time.Very disappointed customer and I will not recommend this to anyone but I was overcharged.

I was to pick up said equipment at 9:00 a.m. No one showed up to the pickup center until 9:45 A.M. There were two returned U-Haul moving trucks blocking the drive to where the trailer was stored and the gentleman did not have the keys to move them out of the way. Near 15-20 minutes and several phone calls later. He located the vehicle keys and was able to move the vehicles. Now let me make this clear. I called the place of pickup the day before. Friday March 18th. Asked them what size ball do I need on my hitch. I was told 2 5/16 would work. Fine. I get a 2 5/16 ball. I finally get to hook up and get moving. Nope. This trailer needs 1 7/8 ball. By then, I had enough. I never took the trailer but you sure didn't waste any time charging my credit card for the trailer rental I did not receive. What are you going to do about it.

I was charged over $450 for a 3 hour car hauler rental! I returned the trailer same day and was told they had the return done for me. Now 6 days later I get a receipt and changed hundreds over what I suppose to pay! Revoke this locations right to Uhaul! They are useless and criminals by stealing their customers money by not processing returns of their trailers.

Management forgot we were picking up, it took an hour and a half to get the key. I called UHaul and they said the manager overslept and when the young man they sent over finally arrived (probably no fault of his own), he said our reservation wasn't in the schedule. I had all of UHaul's confirmations to show him, so the issue was on pick ups side. None of the equipment I asked to rent was in the truck. The truck was clean, everything else went smoothly. It appears to be lack of organization on the location's part that caused this issue and not uhaul itself.

Went inside to pick up truck. The men sitting inside didn’t say a word to us until a few minutes after standing there. They then told us to go back outside and search the premises for someone else to help us. We searched, didn’t find anyone else on the premises so we went back inside the building. The man said he still couldn’t help us and told us to call someone else. We called the other man and we had to wait for him to come back to the location to give us the key. It appeared that the truck was not cleaned properly in between uses. We were able to leave our car there in order to go back and pack up the truck so that was an advantage.

Made a reservation at my preferred location in Prattville and it was the second time in a week I was switched without notification. Completed online check in and when I got there they were not prepared for me. One of the workers had to call the U-Haul attendant on the cell phone, hooked everything up myself. Very impersonal and not professional.

Upon arrival, 2 employees were detailing a car and directed me inside to a 3rd. That young man was sleeping on a couch and did not wake up despite multiple attempts. Once another employee woke him up, he just directed the other person (who came in from outside) to use the app. The gentlemen who was trying to help didn't know all the ins and outs and kept having to go back to the other employee who kept attempting to go back to sleep on the brown recliner. After signing for the document, the gentlemen did help connect the equipment, and then told me to pull out of the fenced area. The only problem is that there were so many parked cars for the detailing operation, that there was only about 4 inches of clearance on each side and it took multiple attempts since no ground guide was provided and no other exit was available. The interior of the facility also had a prominent skunky smell as well which may explain why the interior employee was so concerned about returning to his nap

The truck was nasty. No one checked the truck or mileage. I did not use the truck for 28 miles. I used it for approximately 15 miles. I will never get a truck from them again. The whole set up was questionable.

I had requested to pick up the truck within a mile from my home, but the location was changed to a location in the next city over; so we had more miles to travel before we even started the move. And even though I called the day prior to pick up to ensure that I would be able to pick up the truck, the establishment was not opened and we had to wait for an hour (check your records and you will find where I called at about 8:45 to find out about the delay). Because of that delay, we reached the Atlanta area at rush hour and had several traffic delays.
