Customer service was a nightmare. I sat waiting at a locked location for nearly an hour. Two other people seemed to be trying to locate someone as well, so I waited, thinking someone would show up. Someone did, but the door remained locked. Turned out the person that showed up was the agent's sister, looking for keys. She told me there were no keys on the premises, and finally found the key I needed in a lock box while I was on the phone with the agent being vaguely told the next step to take on my phone to check in for pickup. Most of the time I had dead air on the line. The app kept giving me more steps to take and finally she told her sister that I was done with the app since I had her on the phone. What a mess, while I had moving help waiting for my arrival. The front end on the truck is sketchy and steering is unpredictable. I doubted the agent would care anymore than she cared if I was a satisfied customer. I rented from a Nationwide insurance business, who apparently doesn't open on Saturdays even to handle their truck rentals. Never, ever again with this place. They lost a customer and I want my review to go public, I was so frustrated and displeased.

The process was not good. We had to go to 3 locations to get a truck & it took 2hr. U Haul needs to improve pick up procedures using App. I give a 0 for the problems we had. The Customer Service was very good & helpful.

I have had problems with this location every rental. It was the only option available, otherwise I stay clear. They are never on site, this rental they had the nerve to blow up my phone while i was on the phone with Uhaul,calling, texting saying they were there the whole time out back washing trailers. Such a bold face lie. The office next door confirmed they were not there. We walked the whole lot and no one was there, the Uhaul ws in the back where they were supposedly washing trailers. We seen the lady pull into the lot in her red car right before we got back to the location. She must have been washing trailers at another location.... My reservation was missed, I had to drive to location twice, I had to make multiple calls, holds times, now I was late getting started for the job, which also caused delays from traffic, and paying my help for sitting around waiting on a uhaul. I was told by the last uhaul rep i would receive the $50 reservation fee guarantee for this rental, well now I have to wait for someone to call me back. Last time someone else took our reservation same location, I had to go through the same to get the $50 reservation fee back. Wouldn't be such a big deal, but once I forgot to add about $10 more dollars worth of gas, and was charged out the butt. So I need my money back for your guarantee, you shure take mine. As well as why this location continues to even be allowed to rent Uhauls. This has been going on for three years I know, because I absolutely hate having to use this location. They lie, and takes 2 hours to get the Uhaul. This incident cost me more than $50.00. cost me $50.00 in Labor waiting for the u haul.

The original location I was supposed to pick up at did not have the trailer I reserved (no notification of problem before I showed up) and was sent to this location which cost me 4 hours of delay! This location was remotely managed and had to wait for a nice lady to show up and help me. Overall this was the worst experience I have had with U Haul.

I was there on time but had to wait for the lady to arrive in order to get the key. If you run a business, be there before or at least at the time you open. The truck was disgusting inside the cabin and I had to sweep out the cargo area because there was so much dirt and trash. Besides all of that happening, I had scheduled for the truck to be dropped off near the location I moved too but the lady screwed up and gave me what’s called a “local truck” which a customer would never know. Therefore, when I dropped the truck off at the scheduled drop off location, they charged me $220 for wrong drop off because local trucks go back to the pick up location. I do not recommend anyone to use this location and U-Haul should ban her from representing their company.

Dirt was in the floor and the dash had not been wiped down. There was tape on the windshield to conceal a crack that eventually spread across the windshield. There was a squeaky noise come from underneath the hood. The gears seem to easily slip when trying to put the truck in reverse or drive. The truck could use some PM service.

It’s now Thursday of the following week and i still have yet to receive my money ! The trick was in horrible condition. The driver’s side lock was broken and I had to enter through the passenger door. The windshield was cracked and the car/engine made a lot of noises.

I have a lot of issues getting on my to confirm my rental but the customer service rep that help me with amazing. I just hate. I can’t remember her name. She stayed with me until I completed my transaction and the key was in my hand that spoke to me. Her name is Jamila, but you can see the person that spoke with kudos to her. She rocks!!! Please thank her again for her. Excellent customer care.👍🏽🩷

Truck was clean inside, but came with some damages on the outside (i.e. loose key cylinder on the drivers side that looks like someone tried to strip the lock, lose wooden plank board on the inside of the uhaul in the cargo space). Also mobile pick up was extremely frustrating and the GPS could not access our location in the app, although trying several different methods and different phones. I hope this glitch is fixed in the app soon. We tried over and hour to check in and lost out on moving time. Will be my first and last time using mobile pickup, especially at this location. Upon return, location building had no lights and we had to return the truck completely in the dark. Did not feel safe and it was hard to take pictures of the truck afterwards without proper lightly.

Improve app for check out had trouble with taking picture odometer. And also trying to put in numbers manually was an issue. Just charge flat fee and stop advertising 19.95 like it’s a flat fee and then adding on mileage at an additional cost for local use. Then was charge for less than an inch not past the quarter mark on the gas.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME RENTING FROM THIS PLACE!!! I rented a truck for moving, both houses are 6 miles apart and chose this location due to how close it was to both places. Upon arriving to uhaul location, nobody was there to assist with picking up truck. When the lady finally arrived which was after I arrived, she seemed to be in a quick hurry to get me out of there. NO instructions on drop off outside of where to put key, NO instructions on having to fill out info through text in order to confirm total milage used, if dropping off after hours, NO confirmation on license plate before leaving, and NO information regarding any fees, extra charges, etc. I was charged for driving 84 miles when I only did a one-way trip from old house to new house, and of course the 6 miles from Uhaul location to old house. When picking up truck, there was less than a quarter tank of gas left, which I replaced and even added a little more gas than what was in it. I drove a total of 27.2 miles and was charged 120.01 when in reality I was only supposed to be charged 62.07. I was also charged a convenience fee that was never advised to me by dealer. When calling to dispute the charges, lady was very rude and non-chalant about what was incorrectly charged to me. My card was charged 3 DIFFERENTI TIMES WITHOUT CONSENT OR INFORMATION FROM DEALER WHAT SO EVER. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION TO ANYONE!

As soon as I walked in the office; the young lady greeted me and immediately asked how she could be of service. She pulled up my reservation with ease and went over the lease thoroughly. The truck was brought around to me so all I had to do was pull out. I was in and out of the office within 10 minutes. The location was easy to get to and clean. Upon return; the same young lady greeted me, inspected the truck and I was headed back to my destination within 5 minutes. I would definitely recommend this location to any friends and family. Great truck selection, supplies and excellent customer service!

Hello.. my name is Kelly Smith.. I am furious with the fact that I picked up a u haul Saturday in Lithia Springs that had 17 thousand something miles on it and tank was in E.. I put gas in the van went to Villa Rica to get my clothes and came back to Douglasville. I dropped the van off Sunday and was told the van had 16 thousand something miles on it at check out .. that is not true and there is no way I went over 100 something miles just going to Villa Rica and back to Douglasville.

I love U-Haul they are my moving company I always rent trucks trailer and storage units because they are very reliable and many other locations great working vehicles and many more. I do know U-Haul has a pickup and drop off policy including the cleaning of the equipment used (vehicles) The only issue I had was the vehicle that I had was not clean inside and also in the back was not very clean. Just an FYI I have seen cleaner and used cleaner vehicles.
