Devrim OI was given the keys and not even shown anything about the truck what kind of condition it was in or anything like that prior to leaving I'll go out to the truck to notice that there's a check engine light on and also the tail hitch light so I get out of the truck and go back into the store to let the guy know that the lights are on he says yes we know that there's a check engine light he never told me what to bring the gas back I had to ask him which I ended up filling up more than I returned it with and then there's no heat at all in the truck it doesn't work I figure maybe because I just started it it would take a little while now it never worked it was cold air me and my associate were freezing it was like 20° that day that is unacceptable and I was not satisfied with this U-Haul rental at all and the kicker it if it is I wasn't even moving myself I help and feed the homeless and I was carrying the donations to the homeless locations cuz it was so much and I do this every other month and I needed to get bigger vehicles instead of using mine I was very disappointed I will not use this U-Haul again

I will always pick up at a counter in person in the future. Delayed the whole day.

Cesar MAWFUL! I waited an hour in the cold for the owner to show up because they removed the keys from the dropbox. The owner had to come, was in no rush when he arrived and proceeded to try and make me go through check-in AGAIN, after I already did it online. Keep in mind the representative told me the owner would be there in less than 10 minutes after I called, which would still be about 30 minutes before they typically open. The owner came in at their typical opening time, he did not care that I was waiting outside, there was absolutely no sense of urgency. He did not even apologize. Due to this I was an hour late to meet my movers, so they canceled on me but I still had to pay them. And then had to find more movers last minute which costs me double. And all you could offer me was $50 off for the “inconvenience. ” Not even enough for the gas I put in, which I had to fill when I got it because it was at about 1/4 of a tank. Absolutely ridiculous, I have 50,000+ followers on socials and I will be making posts regarding the situation. And i’ve already told everyone around me to stay away from U-Haul, especiallly this pick-up location. Disgusting. Never again. Absolutely awful service, do not waste your money.

Janet RI stayed the truck was clean and it usually is but this one time it was just a little dirty but I rent from here frequently and the trucks are always clean so this was just one time. Also, the App wasn't working too well when I picked it up AND when I tried returning the truck but the guy inside fixed the problem and I was charged the right amount. I was very grateful I didn't have to fight him to be charged the correct amount. I will definitely rent again from here.

Eileen RThere isn’t any clear signage that tells you where the UHaul desk is located and clerk was rude. The truck needed maintenance, the engine was slipping and the wheels needed an alignment.
Regina AI was greatly overcharged and am not getting any response as to an explanation from this co I rented from . I only drove 8 miles they overcharged me for like 18 + extra miles . I refilled the truck and put gas gauge exactly where it was when I picked it up but was charged for more . I brought the truck back at 2:40 it was due at three I was charged for more . I tried calling and emailing this guy for an explanation and told him I will dispute the charges with my bank if not refunded those extra bogus and fraudulent charges. I had my son with me from pick up to drop off and can verify everything I said . These ppl haven’t even had the decency to call me to have a conversation about why he feels these changes are legitimate. I’m very angry . I was overcharged nearly 40$ in fraudulent charges. I may even make a police report. It was not the guy I signed the contract with but a different man there when I returned it and he barely spoke English and couldn’t be bothered coming outside with me to verify I was in compliance with the contract . I want to hear from him by tomorrow morning or I will do what is necessary.

Jerome OI arrived a few minutes before 10:00 for my scheduled picked up and my phone was not working well in the Colonia area. I didn’t leave the property until 10:45 as I couldn’t tend to the rental with my phone, got limited assistance with the uhaul 800 number and the employee working who was very friendly wasn’t trained through uhaul University. Eventually another employee showed up and helped complete the transaction. I was late for my appointment which made me look unprofessional to my customer. The vehicle had warnings lights in for low tire pressure and the truck was a little sluggish as it is due for a oil change soon. I was overall very disappointed with my Uhaul experience.
Bret LThey were not transparent about all of the fees; when you rent a $19.95 van for 4 hours and return it with the same amount of gas, I was not expecting to pay almost $100. They did not disclose that they charge $1.29 mile which is a complete rip off
SUSAN BI reserved this truck three days prior to the reservation date online for Saturday at 9 AM on October 26th. I arrived approximately five minutes early and started the procedure to rent the truck using my cell phone. While going through the Process there was an apparent problem with my selfie pic according to Christian who was on online chat with me. He had me take multiple selfie pictures and then sent me over a color test image that I had to complete using my cell phone. After approximately 25 minutes of going through this process he denied the rental to me. He stated that at this time we cannot approve your rental request and then ended the chat window. Never stating what the reason was. At that time I had to go inside to finish the rental process. Fortunately the store where I rented the truck opened at 9:30. I wanted to do this process via my cell phone because I had another engagement at 4 PM which I was unable to make due to the delay caused by Christian. While I was going through the process of renting the truck inside the location I found out that he denied the claim because I was taking the pictures with my eyes shut. I was in a bright sunlight condition and was squinting apparently when I was taking the selfie pictures. He Never told me what the issue was and to make sure that my eyes were completely open when taking the pictures. He also flag me flagged me online which the account rep pointed out to me. I’m really hoping you can go back on Saturday the 26th around 9 AM and pull up the chat window to see what occurred. I’ve rented many trucks and U-Haul which you probably can see if you pull up my account information. I am very disappointed and frustrated and probably will never rent another truck from U-Haul.

WAGNER FI arrived for pickup 10 mins early, representative had left for lunch, and “would be back in 10 mins”. Figured it wouldn't be a problem. 40 mins later, he finally showed up, and the milage was incorrect, the gas gauge was incorrect, and there was a half eaten sandwich on the dashboard. Because he was a half hour late, we almost missed our appointment (made it there 5 mins before closing).
Michael IBobby and his colleagues are very easy going guys, helped me measure the exact length and width using measuring tape as i was bit concerned if my stuff can fit into it. Very smooth rental/return and hassle free transaction. Highly recommended.

Pedro SThere was no one there to receive the truck. It was closed. I called the pick up location to find out what to do and he said there should have been a drop box. There was none. We searched the entire perimeter of the location and there was no place to drop the key and paperwork so we put it in the mailbox...which was not secure. I also tried to call the 800 number, as suggested by the pick up location person and they never answered. There was a message that kept repeating. We were tired, just returned from moving furniture and a long drive and this was not how we wanted to end the day. A horrible experience. Sorry.

He took $100 cash deposit then $48 credit card deposit then used his credit card because he didn’t know how to work your system. Your better off not having these outside franchises use your service. It’s a total different experience than your brand locations. He’s obviously out for the money but not the U-Haul customer service. He called Riverview in Totowa to process another $151 on my card. This guy is terrible! I’m telling ALL my customers & clients DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION. STAY AWAY! RUN!

Dinesh KFirst, my reservation was for 4:30 PM. I arrived at 4:25, and was told that the truck wasn't there...that the other person "renting" it was running late. OK, no problem. Nearly 40 minutes later, the van arrives, and it was not Ren Ed, but being used to haul materials for the place I rented it from. Inside smelled of chemicals and rubber. No acknowledgement, no apologies, no anything from the company.

ALEX SThe cargo van I rented was absolutely filthy. The cargo area had soil and dirt all over the floor. There were mud stains all over the floor on the passenger area. The uhaul agent needs to ensure cleanliness of the vehicle, not just focus on renting it out regardless of the condition.

He told me the other guy would be with me in a minute. 5 minutes later, we are still waiting in the store when the guy we waiting to see called us and asked if we were still picking up the truck!!! They almost forgot my appliance dolly. Then they weren't even sure if they had it. After the found one, they put the wrong one in the truck. Luckily, I checked before leaving and got the right dolly. Then when dropping off the equipment, I discovered they put me down for both dollies, which was not accurate. I have rented many trucks, and this was the worse experience I have ever received while renting a truck.
