I returned the van shortly after the shop closed, well within the 12 hour rental window. I was unaware that I HAD to use the app to check the van in. I was so tired from moving heavy boxes, I deposited the keys in the return box without noting the mileage. I was charged for more than 12 hours.

Please make sure the location has inspected the rental for safety before re-renting. The tires on the cargo van I rented were not only severely low (the van I rented had PSI of 30 as opposed to PSI of 80), the sensor on the other tire was busted. The time it took to get the rental in safe condition really impacted my moving schedule. Luckily and thankfully, customer service rep was wonderful and the repair person was just as great.

I have used this location 2 times for storing my things and always have had a great experience. I think it would be helpful to have a drinking fountain or soda machine in the place where the storage units are along with a bathroom if possible. Most of the times I had to grab something from storage I needed a restroom. Other than that the people that worked there were super helpful and friendly.

Your automated on line check out process is much too complicated need to find a way to make it easier. I tried several times to check out, kept saying my session expired after just emerging my email. Also tried with phone # no luck.

Unit had a poorly patched ceiling leak that caused mold damage to the coverings of rosewood furniture, evidence of water damage along the entrance and one wall, a moth infestation throughout the unit on the exterior of packing materials, mice droppings near the entrance, fluorescent bulbs in the hallway that were loudly buzzing and not bright, and a large amount of dust throughout the building. When I called to ask about rate increases and asked why I was not notified there had been an increase in both 2021 and 2023, the woman office manager was hostile on the phone. When I called to get the gate code and confirm that I would be closing the unit due to the rate hike, the male manager was rude and would not give me the gate information unless I came into the office and showed identification. When I came in person to get the gate code on 2/24 after 1 pm, the woman was heavily passive aggressive and rapidly became verbally abusive. Both the man and woman at the desk were goading for a fight because I was closing the unit. Out of the two, the woman was the most insulting and physically agitated. There is a camera in the office, which the woman made an effort to point out. When I said that was good because it was recording her behavior, she got angry and increasingly insulting. At no time did either of them check my identification before giving the gate code. On the phone, the managers portrayed themselves as owners. In person, they claimed to be employees. When I asked for the owner’s name and contact information to discuss their behavior and the rent increase, the woman refused to give it. She said she was the only one who could contact the owner because he was “at the hospital at the bedside of his dying father”. The way she was elaborating sounded like a lie. She said the only way I could contact him was if she dialed the call on her phone and I spoke with him where both she and her partner could hear. I said I did not trust that the person she would dial was the owner and I would find his name and contact information later to speak with him privately. Then the man dramatically offered me a water while he and his wife were yelling at me that they “could not leave the office but that (I) should” and insisting I could not contact the owner of the building. I said I had not come to the office for water, but for the gate code. As I turned to leave, the woman hooted insults in a continued effort to instigate a fight. Getting the gate code from them took about twenty minutes due to the their belligerence. This really is a sad change from the managers in 2014. The previous managers maintained the building in well repaired and spotless condition. They were friendly and trustworthy. I felt safe leaving my things there and being in the facility. Hopefully, the owner will hear about this from enough people and will find new managers who don’t drive away business.

LOVE THIS TEAM. I am very upset with corporate U-Haul for contacting Shandra on-site relaying that I (Ali Farrell, Owner of Decor Colorado) was upset about a missing receipt from my 2/7/23 rental. This morning I got a call from a Ray at 303-286-2650. Inquiring about the rental Quinn Farrell returned yesterday. This was followed by Elite calling apologizing for not getting my receipt to me sooner, that they just talked to U-Haul about a call I made to them. PLOT TWIST - I did not contact anyone at U-Haul about a receipt today (2/8/23) and I’m incredibly frustrated that corporate decided to speak on my behalf. I have a wonderful business-relationship with Elite’s U-Haul site and I don’t appreciate Uhauls comfort level on taking my business into their own hands. I am a small company and having good rapport is EVERYTHING. Shandra and I are cool but I would like for U-Haul to remedy this as a professional courtesy.

Only issue was the tire pressure monitor. It came on after a while. I stopped to put air in but the machine was broken. Then the warning went away. Then it came on again later. I stopped again at another broken machine. Then the warning went away again.

I was charged for two gallons of gas, even though I returned it on F and only drove eight miles in total. I do not believe the truck only gets four miles per gallon, so this felt like a scam and ruined what was otherwise a good experience.

I did not appreciate the hidden and unexpected charges. My initial estimate was $260 and actual bill came out to $360. I was particularly upset about the unwarranted $25 cleaning charge which was never discussed or openly disclosed and excessive. When I called the branch to discuss they ignored me. I won’t rent from this facility again, they seem friendly but will take every dime they can. This is not my definition of good customer service.

Great folks running the storage facility + they have U-Haul trucks for rent as well. Which I used. Made everything very easy...When I moved stuff in, I realized I needed another unit. They were very accommodating. I got the 2nd unit right next door...very handy. I highly recommend Elite Storage.

Requested a dolly when making the 10’ truck reservation a few weeks ahead of time. Upon arrival to pick up the truck that Sunday morning … no dolly inside; no one around; and the office was closed. We were moving into an apartment on the 4th floor…no dolly. The mobile checkin process was way too tedious. Picture of license front & back were submitted along with signing waivers and everything requested days ahead of pick-up date but had to be done again. Please review the details of the rental agreement and include the requested equipment or let your customers know if equipment is unavailable. That added a lot of time to our truck rental! Not happy.

I'm not sure if there's a way to! I felt supported on a human level, and just happened to be in a u-haul pickup spot/storage rental. Open and honest communication, even mentioned we could keep the uHaul for longer if needed, which we ended up needing b/c we were dog-tired by the end of the day. There was a man and a woman checking people in. You saw the man first then the woman. The woman was very friendly and helpful. The man was a complete asshole. Short and abrupt, extremely rude. If I didn't absolutely need the truck I would have walked out and contacted Ryder or some other company. Horrible. I will never go there again.

The service at this location was fine. However, this was not the location we chose due to location. Our reservation (at Nick's Auto in Boulder-right down the street from our move-out location) was moved to this location and we had no choice but to use it. It was very difficult to find using GPS from Denver and cost us a lot of extra time and energy on a very busy moving day.

There were rat droppings all over our items. They fell out of every piece of furniture we unwrapped. It was a health hazard and incredibly disgusting.

the only "issue" I would say about this storage service was that my storage unit and the door were very far away from each other making it a lot of extra work. I would much prefer a storage unit that you can drive to and unload AT the unit itself. Otherwise, great service!

Great service pick-up at Elite in Lafayette, CO! The only issue on each end is the pick-up and drop-off locations changed from what we were originally told, but thankfully not much of a difference in distance.

The windshield of the truck was covered with bugs. When I reserved the truck I reserved an appliance dolly as well. They forgot to put it in the truck.

The service at this location was top-notch! Friendly, helpful, thorough, and extremely easy to work with. Uhaul 24/7 pick-up however was very difficult and the 1-800 number customer care was horrible! They were not helpful at all and in fact left us on hold 3 different times and after 1 hour we gave up. The 24/7 system using your phone was inefficient and painful! We did not get our truck when we wanted and had to go back the next morning to get the truck over the counter with the extremely nice and very knowledgeable and helpful owners at Elite Storage (Uhaul center).
