When I made the reservation I planned to need the rental truck for six hours, however on the day of the rental I determined that I would need it for a couple of hours longer which I explained to the rental staff. I asked if I needed to make that adjustment to my rental contract, but was told that as long as I brought the rental back before close of business that day I would NOT be charged for an additional rental period. At the end of the day I was driving the rental truck to the drop off location and I was confident I would be there before close of business which according to their posted operating times was 6 pm, but it would be close. I called to let them know I would be there by 5:45 which was only 10 minutes from the time I called. The staff told me they might not be able to wait and I should plan on using the after hours drop off procedures. I pointed out it was only 10 minutes from that point, but she said she wouldn't promise anything. I did actually arrive before 5:45pm and they did receive the truck, but upon receiving the close out statement I saw I had been charged for two rental periods. I called the customer support number for Uhaul and spoke with the representative who explained that my rental period was based on the time I initially selected and since I brought the rental back past that time I was charged for a second rental period. I told her about my conversation with the rental staff regarding NOT being charged more if I brought it back by close of business she responded that it would have been better to initially select a 24 hour rental period and then bring it back early. She was kind enough to remove the charges for the second rental period. On the Uhaul rental website it doesn't suggest renting for 24 hours and then bringing the rental back early nor does it state that whatever rental period I initially indicate will be used to determine whether I am charged more than the initial fee. In fact, by allowing rental periods for less than 24 hours the implication is that I will be charged for only that period of time and not 24 hours. Deceptive at best, deceitful at worst. The staff at the rental location wasn't willing to wait a mere 10 minutes to receive my rental return even though the return time was within the published operating hours. Not likely that I will be using Uhaul again, Enterprise is much better in my experience.

The back of the truck was a mess, trash, cigarette butts, left over fast food, ect. The counter person helping me get the truck picked up was no help, always with the "no, I can't" attitude.

The truck had a low tire when I received the keys. Also, the location is very hard to find. It's immediately next to I-80 and it's unclear bif the turn-in is an exit ramp or a driveway until one drives past. A large U-Haul sign near the entrance would be helpful. There's only a small sign in the window which I finally saw once I was in their office. The service person behind the desk was helpful and polite.

The people were wonderful, but the equipment had significant issues that should have been caught. The cables for lifting the door were tangled when we got it, but we didn't notice until after loading the truck. It was nearly impossible to shut, and when we called roadside assistance, they discovered that a spring was broken beyond repair. They assured us this was not our doing. Additionally the gas was leaking when we filled it up because someone (the mechanic said it was clearly prior to our renting it because it was "fixed" by covering it with DUCT TAPE) had tried to siphon gas and poked a hole in the tubing. It additionally kept overheating while we drove it. The whole experience was a nightmare, except for the people who helped us who were excellent. The customer service at U-Haul is wonderful, but this does not make up for the poor equipment.

Absolutely horrible. I returned the truck clean and full of gas. The representative told me that he was busy and would check the vehicle in later. 26 hours later, they had still not checked the vehicle in. I logged into my account and learned that the vehicle was NOT checked in. I called U-Haul and found out that there was an alert on my account for not turning the truck in. Good grief. I called the location and asked why they had not checked in the truck 26 hours after I returned it. They said they were busy and would get to it soon. They then hung up on me. Shortly thereafter, I received an e-mail receipt. It's difficult to understand how a location can screw up a return, but trust me- there's a way. This place was dirty, unprofessional, and the representatives were rude. No matter how convenient this location may be to drop off, do NOT use. And for sure DON'T use this place to pick up a truck/trailer. You've been warned.

I dropped the truck off after hours. I was supposed to check in online but the server was down. I ended up having to call the next morning; there was a warning sign stating I would be charged a late fee if not checked in (even though I returned the truck early).

Truck was covered in bugs and extremely dirty. Also the gas was lower than what was stated on the contract. Also order was switched from Intown rental to one-way for a charge greater than $40 more than what it would've cost me to do an Intown return. Very disappointed

Awkward location at busy intersection near freeway off ramp. Emission center was the main business purpose of this site. Small parking lot. The receptionist told me to leave the keys and someone would contact me. He was going to lunch and couldn't help me then. No one else there to help, and he couldn't delay lunch. Dirty, small, poor service.

When I got there to drop off the truck they just ask for the key, they didn't do a walkthrough to see if the truck was fine, and after that they charge me lots of fees. I am trying to reach out to them but nobody answers me. I will never recommend this place to anyone.

It's not exclusively a UHaul place, and they want you to do an online checkin, which is kind of just a huge pain in the butt when you are moving. So, I thought I'd just do it in the store, but they had me do the online checkin in the shop, but it didn't actually work, so then they let me check it out. The people were friendly enough. I just wasn't a fan of the online checkin. It would also be nice if the windows were clean enough to see out of when I got the truck. It was doable, but not entirely safe.

When I arrive the truck Have lees gas than the systems said. I made the claim to the guy and he told He will fix it When I return it I recived a extra charge for gas 21dlls But I return in the same that I get it . Systems said 7/8 of tanks Truck have 5/8 I return it in 6/8 or 3/4 of tank Plus I recived a extra charge. Those guys are robbers

We were overcharged for gas, called the location immediately and the woman who claims to be the manager was less than helpful, rude and argumentative. Either the gas charge is fixed or I will be disputing the charge with my credit card company.

I never received a dolly at all and commented when returning the truck. Now I am charged twice for a dolly and never used or had even one. I was quoted 55 when I left with the truck and gave payment. Now it says the first price was 64. The customer service was not helpful and had plenty of time to make sure everything was there. I left without dolly because just the online check in took long and the location was sketchy.

It would make it a little easier to see the U-Haul sign if it was much bigger. The only decal a saw was on the front door and it was not that easy to see from the street , while driving by it. With that said I drive by two times and missed it because I didn't see the U-Haul sign

The engine on the particular truck we rented was noisier than a rental truck rented just a few days earlier. The noise eased up as the I drove the vehicle, so I wondered if there was a crack in the exhaust manifold that was closing up when the engine warmed up.

There was not any uhaul representatives available. some guy from the car wash aid we would have to wait for the uhaul rep to arrive. Then he proceeded to do the inspection and check out. Very confusing, not sure if he was official but we did leave the keys and the truck with him.

I wasn't the driver. I'm the Mom who's exercycle rode in the truck's attic. I'd asked for a 15' but the 20' we were given was nearly full. Son returned truck after hours. He said the truck handled well.

Rental truck was available when needed though not at the location I requested. Customer service reps were polite and professional. Interior was clean. The windshield was dirty but that was fixable. Ordered 24 pads - only received 23 and I did not notice until I dropped the truck off. The truck was left in the same or better condition than when I picked it up as well as with more gas in the tank than required. Overall a good experience and I would rent again from UHaul.

This place is way too busy and behind in technology to be a uhaul dealer as well. I was in line for 45 minutes when I signed up for contactless rental and everything. It took so long and the people seemed to have no clue what was going on. I already paid for it online and they made me swipe another card when I got there. Signing paperwork with germs community pens. Like it was just not ideal for covid. Every other uhaul place I've used is 100 times better than this spot.

Great customer service face to face.... while this location set me up to get charged the $30 additional sur-charge for returning the truck below 1/4 tank when they gave it to me with less that 1/4 tank. If they would have given me the truck at 1/2 tank I would have only paid $10 in gas instead I was charged $40 because of the unmentioned sur- charge fee of $30. Be aware

When i picked up the truck i did not have the blankets and dolly that i ordered. When i called them they said they didn't put it in the truck because i came to pick up my truck at 8:30 and they don't open until 10am. I had to call uhaul corporate to find someone helpful to get my dolly.

Make sure u give the people what they actually wanted this was a horrible experience I was charged 100 dollars for a 20 dollar uhaul I didn't even get the dolly I requested The uhaul came with no gas and they charged me for it. This was horrendous. when calling about it I was just told to wait. The person I talked had no clue what they were doing. I will not be using uhaul again I want a full refund for this awful experience

Van was not clean and there was smell in it. I couldn't able to use the van as there was curfew in the city and I returned it within 1 hour and still I was charged 50 bucks.

first of all, i understand the touchless theory but in practice, yours is flawed when you have to try to figure out a grubby lockbox to retrieve the rental key. and as for sanitary procedures during this covid situation, nothing makes me more uncomfortable than getting in to cab of rental with mud scuffs on floor, sideboards, upholstery which is an indication that not only had the interior not been sanitized as rental cars are currently doing but hadn't even been cleaned to give the impression that it had been sanitized. upon dropping off the vehicle, i was asked if vehicle was clean enough for next client to which i replied no because of the damn way i had received it and you have the audacity to charge me a cleaning fee! upon multiple messages via the app on my phone, i told the agent to call me after showing photos of the mess yet never heard from anyone so called the 1800 number after turning in vehicle and was told i would be contacted by a regional manager this week.

Terrible customer service. The worst I've ever had with U-Haul. It took a very long time to get me checked in. No apologies, I got a very rude “you're just gonna have to wait.” Then they forgot the furniture blankets so I came back for them. Again the woman seemed annoyed and didn't want to carry them because they're heavy. I came to get them and she tossed them in the back saying “there” and walked away. It was really upsetting. Also the van wreaked of cigarette smoke and the windshield was broken. There were stickers on the cracks so it looks like it had been broken for quite sometime. I also feel like I got overcharged. My check in time was when they started checking me in. Not when they finished and I returned it about a half hour after the time I said I would.

We ordered an appliance dolly and the truck did not come with one. We had to drive to another uhaul location just to get one. We had a 6 hour rental and by the time we were able to get into the truck using the Mobil pick up app and driving to another uhaul to pick up a dolly we had already lost an hour and a half. I would not recommend using the Mobil pick up option if you are requesting other accessories for your rental

I don't know the agent but very negative and took almost a half hour to get out of the store. Couldn't see any moving boxes in store, if there was some definitely would have bought some. The clean and almost brand new truck definitely made up for it
