I have tried calling twice but no one picked up to complain that the truck we picked up after hour had a refrigerator in it, that we couldn’t use the U-Haul for what it was intended for. I have a Picture and will be glad to send that over. Would appreciate full or partial refund. And the worse part was getting to know about this when we got to where we were picking up our items. Had to return the truck since we only booked 2hours and had drive time already consumed most of it, so we don’t get charged for overtime and we also fuel the truck that served no purpose. It wasn’t just a good experience, no location should give a truck that will serve no use to a customer because we picked up after hour and no one to help.

I reckon this is only a problem for after hours rentals and drop-offs, but significant none the less. The vehicle had apparent hail damage and shattered glass was scattered throughout the passenger cabin and on the dashboard from the previously shattered windshield. A surprisingly significant amount of shattered glass was also found within the cargo box.

I drove for over an hour looking for another location with the blankets and dollies. The person at Empire did NOTHING to help me locate these items and basically said "do you want the trailer or not". After an hour of calling and driving around, a very helpful person at Uhaul on Nameless Rd in Leander Texas had moving supplies needed. KEITH Vuhaul rep was extremely rude. when i mentioned that i had to go further away but had my allowed mileage go down, she responded it wasn't uhaul's fault i changed locations! (in fact it was, they did not have my reservation ready for the 2nd day in a row at original location). the truck i got had a massive oil leak, which took all day to resolve, ended up getting a replacement truck close by after uhaul repeated tried to force me to go 30 miles away for replacement. Worst service ever, cost me 3 extra days, and lotsa problems coming in at midnite due to this bad truck. (i was trailering a broke down jeep).

SCOTT PEasy pickup and dropoff. I have rented a trailer here twice and have been very pleased with the service. Only thing is it they have a small sign on Hwy 29. It is easy to miss... That would be my only recommendation to them is to have a larger sign. Other than that, very pleased and would definitely recommend renting here!!
DAVID JIt is on one lane gravel road with a small sign on the ground on the left side of the lane. Looked like a private driveway to a gated house on the other side of the pasture where we left the trailer. The only reason we left it there was because there was another U-Haul trailer there. Saw no other U-Haul equipment or signs or night lights. We were there after hours so we didn’t meet any personnel.
SHARRY G3 stars because i traveled a total of 5 miles and was charged for 2 gallons of gas. The 15’ get 10 miles a gallon, so I didn’t even use a gallon. That’s just scummy
RYAN DHad a terrible time finding the location of the drop off and then the business was closed at lot locked up so called back to SC and was instructed to leave trailer and take pictures of drop off which we did. I am not responsible if missing.

MARK HI have always rented a Uhaul when I needed it, and I was always well informed about all the expenses. But this time I was taken by surprise. The attendant treated me very well, she was a sweet person, but she didn't tell me about extra fees and additional charges. I was expecting to pay around R$40.00 to rent for just 2 HOURS, and I ended up paying R$130.00.
